The location was perfect. The staff and the overall hotel and bar were fabulous. Everything was easy here. The value of the stay was amazing.

The bathroom in the room was nearly non-existent. Don't share a room with someone you don't feel very very comfortable with. The lighting in the "bathroom" sink area was awful. Bright lights pointing straight down on you. If you like to wear makeup I highly recommend bringing a lighted makeup mirror with you. However, the positives of the hotel still outweigh the negatives.

I booked this property as a surprise birthday trip for my husband and everything was amazing from the moment we walked in the doors. Transportation was provided for dinners, local recommendations, but mostly, I would love to thank Sebastian as he took care of everything for us! He was beyond helpful; from decorating the room to shipping our parcel that got left behind. He was an absolute angel. I would definitely recommend and visit again!

We really enjoyed the waterfront view of the bay! So peaceful and lovely to hear the boats and festive train. Off season is best for exploring the streets without the crowds. The gym is AMAZING

Why isn’t there a continental breakfast?! For the price of the rooms and stay, y’all should consider it. Maybe a kitchenette if there isn’t going to be an included breakfast. Free parking for guests considering what the rates of the rooms are. Other than that, everything was great.

Unfortunately our stay was short. The room was clean and comfortable. Vallet was extremely nice and helpful. Shuttle driver was very helpful and nice. Front desk staff not as warm kind bubbly helpful as expected/experienced with most every other hotel stay. Seemed clean and beautiful Christmas tree in lobby. Great location and I did get the King bed/water view as booked. :)

Front desk staff. Very nervous about leaving our car with vallet. Had JUST got my car back from being fixed after vallet at AC Portsmouth sideswiped my car back in September (not been easy to work with you guys). Would have preferred to park my self but couldn’t find street parking that didn’t need to be refilled every few hours.

Parking was an issue and it was valet only. This would have been nice to know prior to booking the Hotel. Not sure if I would have chosen another location, but I might have explored other/cheaper parking options prior to arrival.

Location. Valet parking - expensive but convenient and very competent and courteous staff.

Only five years old but beginning to show signs of wear — wall coverings, bathroom fixtures. Trying to call this hotel to confirm our reservation was a nightmare! And it was precipitated by an invitation from Marriott to checkin remotely and quickly disintegrated when after two clicks, we were advised there was no record of our reservation. Talk about self-inflicted reputational damage.

The room smelled amazing!!!! I would LOVE to be able to purchase whatever was used to make the room smell so good. The location was super close to Old Port and Scales (an amazing and must try restaurant). The room was exceptionally clean and a decent size. The bar was also nice and had some of the bourbons we enjoy sipping on. I would absolutely stay here again.

There wasn't anything I did not like.

We loved the location, walking distance to many restaurants, shops and art galleries. Really is the perfect location! The room was large and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and navigate around the neighborhood.

The only problem with our stay was our television. We weren't able to get the audio working and to shut the tv completely off we had to unplug it.

The hotel looks brand new, the room is amazing and very clean, staff is extremely friendly. Items in the breakfast were fresh and very well selected. Vale parking very efficient. Check in and check out process were fast.

It could cost a little less, but it is Portland in summer, so a very popular destination.

Comfy bed and pillows, adequate amenities.

Would have been nice to know that the pet-friendly floor doesn’t have rooms with 2 Queens, I was not informed of this despite reaching out to them directly after having made the reservation. Bath amenities have a very strong perfume, not great for people with sensitive skin
