The property is beautiful and immaculately clean. The hotel staff was amazing, truly everyone was so helpful and kind. I mentioned that it was my partner and i’s anniversary and we were so happy to see macarons, wine cocktails and a lovely card set up in our room when we arrived. The card had 2 women on the front which really was a lovely touch and made us feel incredibly welcome! Our room was quite large and had everything we needed—the beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space to hang clothes, store suitcases etc. we also loved the convenience of having a water/ice machine on our floor and the 2 glass bottles in our room. Valet service was convenient and timely as well.

Overall we loved our stay, but the sliding bathroom door was a bit cumbersome and didn’t fully close so it wasn’t as…private as it should be lol. We could’ve also used another lamp or two as the room was a bit dark, but entryway and bathroom mirror lights were nice and bright. The only thing that caught us a bit off guard was the $40/day valet (all attendants were prompt and professional!) we just didn’t realize valet was mandatory. We did visit during the winter and drove up during a snowstorm having to use the valet did end up being very convenient. Aside from these minor things we would still give this hotel 5 stars! The property had a beautiful ambience and open concept. I loved their use of wood, and leather, and especially liked the design of the rooms and bathrooms. It was also situated at a section of Portland that was very convenient to many restaurants and shops.

We paid quite a bit for our room for 2 nights, but our view was of the top of a roof and an air conditioning unit. When I asked to be moved, since we had already unpacked, they denied my request because they would have to clean the room again. Next time I will specify a higher floor with a better view.

Brilliant central location with safe place for our car. Wonderful staff particually Nicole at the front desk. She was professional and she was so kind and like a friend helping us with places to dine and things to visit. The room was HUGE and well set up. I was thrilled that finally a large hotel in USA had sustainabile iniatives such as not plastic water bottles, cups etc packing. There was a note they had glass bottles for us to use to fill with water and aice machine on every level which we used and the water tasted good.

The wooden detail above the beds was very dusty.

The rooms are great

1. One out of the 2 elevators did not work the entire weekend which caused huge waiting time of 10-20 minutes !!! The management claim the there is no service for elevators over the weekend is a not true ! Such a reputable hotel could have had a retainer service contact that would work over the weekend and avoid this mess!!! Such maintenance contracts exist all over the world and for sure in cities in the US! I would expect a partial refund on top of the obvious apology !!! 2. The breakfast offering is not good and does not suit such a reputable hotel

Loved the location. Close to the restaurants in the Old Port. Loved the modern facility and the fireplaces were really beautiful and set a great ambiance. Loved the rooftop bar. Loved that the small dog traveling with us was able to go in nearly every space in the hotel. Love the dog amenities and that you donate to a local cause as part of the fee. Appreciated the staff. How nice they were. There was a lot to like!

Would have appreciated more dog friendly areas to do her business outside. The area around the hotel was minimal and had a lot of trash around it. Across the street. Had a lot of trash as well, but of course it's winter and realize that it may be cleaned up when the weather gets warmer. But that was kind of gross.

I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful from the valet to the bartenders. Rooftop bar was amazing! Great view. Hotel is very modern and clean. Hotel is in walking distance of several great restaurants and bars. This area of Portland has a great food seen! Will definitely stay here again in the future. I already recommended this place to a close friend who lives in R.I. I told him to take his wife for a weekend.

Honestly there isn't nothing I could say I didn't like about my stay. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time.

Overall, the hotel is new and clean. All the utilities in the room are very useful. Especially the size of the bathroom is what I really liked. You have enough space around the sink if you like to put your makeup and hair stuff around. The shower has decent space. Having a shower cabin not a shower curtain was huge plus for me. Having a nespresso in the room was another bonus. The valet service was quite useful and the price was okey, too.

The one and only thing I really did not like was the fact that max temperature you can set with a/c was 24.4 degrees cel. Portland is a cold place especially in winter. The room should have been much hotter for my taste.

Room had a trendy vibe and was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It had a nice view of downtown and hotel is in a great location as far as being near to shopping and restaurants as well as close to waterfront and lighthouse areas. Housekeeping was very good and it was overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Two gripes--small one first--waterfront is a misnomer as it is a block away from the water and any view is blocked by other buildings. Its more of a downtown feel than on the beach feel--having waterfront in the title of the hotel gave me the impression it was on the beach I guess. The bigger issue for me was cost of parking. $48 per night or $40 if you use the valet but either way adds up over a few nights stay. Just be sure to add this to whatever you are paying for hotel. I probably didnt read enough reviews to learn this beforehand so it was a little irksome. I am still happy we stayed here as it was a good experience and fortunately hurricane lee didnt hit this area too hard.

We had the suite for 4, which was a nice size for all of us. They were very friendly giving us the necessary bedding and pillows. They have a nice roof terrace bar.

Ocean view is a bit overrated, very far over a parking a lot and busy road you see some ocean. The room service comes in paper boxes without decent tableware. They don't pick up the phone for room service, but you have to go downstairs to place the order.

The location was great and walkable to restaurants and local shops. There was also plenty of parking available in the street or at valet. Our room was very clean, smelled nice and the beds were as comfortable as can be! I felt very at ease and relaxed in this space, almost like home. The front desk staff were also so accommodating. They recognized that our stay was for our honeymoon and gave us a neat little dessert and some cozy socks to enjoy! It felt like they really cared about our special moment and we appreciate that they were celebrating with us.
