Loved proximity to beach & town, was exceptionally clean & all staff were outstanding so friendly & helpful a real family vibe, not one area lacking, pool was cool but think this was as we hit end of season, that was the only criticism but didn’t spoil our stay

When we checked in our twin room was a double and the a/c was not working. We were advised they don’t have twin rooms at the hotel at all, then advised there were none available then they found one so sadly not a great start on arrival.

10/10 our stay was unique and we loved it from the minute we checked in. Everyone in the hotel was super helpful and always positive with a smile. Food quality and presentation was amazing. Hotel facilities clean and with great ambiance. We are only regretting we didn't get enough time to visit spa but we will definitely do it once we will return to the hotel, cause we definitely will! muchas gracias! I would also like to recognize amazing people working in this hotel, unfortunately I don't have all names as simply I don't remember them all but I would definitely remember girl working in food and beverage outlet Carol, she was always smiley and super positive she is a credit to your hotel! Thank you once again!!!

Portinatx is a small community in the north of the island, about 34 kms from airport, overlooking a tranquil bay and two small beaches, There are a number of resort hotels and we enjoyed Grupotel very much for its relaxing, spread out buildings, gardens and two pools. We arrived around 2 pm in the dark so missed the first turning off the EI 300 (left just before the town) but reception person was most helpful in getting us quickly to our room. We found it a perfect base for our week in Ibiza, short drives to nearby towns and villages along roads that were not too busy. We did 3 walks 1. from Port San Miguel 2. from Cala de Xarraca and 3. south from Santa Eularia following the coast and found a number of excellent restaurants (Rebrots and Ciguena immediately opposite hotel to the rear overlooking beaches and Jardin de Mer in the town overlooking the bay). Breakfast had wide choice of items, excellent breads, fruit and cereal and service was very attentive and friendly in spite of being very busy every morning (especially from 9 am onwards). We tried the evening buffet (included in some meal plans) only once, reasonable value at 25 Euros per person but very busy and lacking the atmosphere and ambience of local restaurants.

Due to very late homebound flight, enquired about late check-out and was told it could only be arranged on day of departure. Proved impossible yet I could have booked myself an extra night at this hotel or others close by on boking.com so rooms were clearly available. Hotel could have been more responsive and negotiated additional cost which would have been acceptable. As it was we spent 7 hours at airport.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Beach literally on your doorstep. Friendly staff, good facilities and lovely food. Definitely recommend.

Great location, with a very beautiful beach close-by and nice views all around. It was lovely to enjoy the relax areas outside the hotel and the swimming pool. The staff were very kind and nice. Breakfast, very rich and great variety of food.

The time to have breakfast in the dedicated restaurant rooms was a bit too early for us one day and we had to move to the bar area outside, even if there were still like 10 minutes before breakfast end time. Maybe a bit more flexibility on this time would be better

Fantastic room with a large balcony in front of the pool and the beach. The location was relaxing (as desired). This place is recommended for those that want to live the wild side of Ibiza Island, next to the seaside and the forests. Staff was always friendly and availble to fix our requests.

In Spain it seems that the double bed must be made up of two single beds. This isn't always pleasant :-)

Location by a beautiful beach. Room with a terrace and a nice view. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pools looked nice and there were also some activities like yoga which is nice.

Wifi is absolutely horrendous. The room floor didn’t seem clean. What’s the point of the loud music under the window untill 11? Also, what’s the point of the huge light on the terrace that can’t be turned off?

The temperature in the dining room is ridiculous! we were eating as fast as possible to get out of there each morning! It would have been helpful to understand how this hotel layout impacts on people with mobility challenges. You have to go up and down multiple flights of stairs to move between everywhere from everywhere as nothing is on the same level - room, pool, reception, dining room, bar. my husband is not great with walking and he found it quite difficult at times. We don’t like to take up accessible rooms and I always check hotels have a lift but that was largely irrelevant in this hotel.

The location is gorgeous!! The views from my balcony were amazing, the decor is modern, I loved Pilates and using the gym with a stunning view. But what really makes this hotel special are the staff. The restaurant staff are always smiling, and sometimes singing!! Such a lovely atmosphere, I felt included, even as a solo traveler. Special mention to Papise for carrying my suitcase down a LOT of stairs with a smile! I’m already looking forward to my return trip.

Nothing ! Although, I made the rookie error of selecting “ pay in pounds” on the card machine (the transactor has a shocking exchange rate almost 1:1 euro: pound so I was £60 out of pocket, always pay in EUROS to get your own banks rate, lesson learned!
