The staff were so lovely and I loved the use of the sauna and pool in the morning. I felt well looked after checking in quite late, and again in the morning when I wanted to use the sauna and still have some time for breakfast. The location was very convenient for my conference the next day.
Rather than not like, I was ambivalent about the room and bathroom, it looked like there were some uses with the plumbing. And the breakfast was fairly standard. For the price I would have wanted a bit more invested in both. The meat wasn't free range so my protein options were limited to eggs and squishy mushrooms.

The room was a decent size, though a bit restrictive when the sofa bed was in use. Unfortunately, it was only cleaned once during our stay and wasn’t restocked. On a brighter note, breakfast offered a generous variety of meal options, and the staff throughout the facility were consistently warm and welcoming. The bed itself was soft and comfortable, though it wasn’t changed during our visit. The highlight of our stay was definitely the spa facilities; they were excellent and the part we enjoyed most.
Not changing the sheets, restocking the fridge and bathroom with fresh towels and sanitary stuff.

Clean, great room 411 - good breakfast service and great food served. Clean pool facilities.
Sauna bench is fragile and feels like it would break on impact. We arrived 21/6 - 12.30 and I asked the receptionist how to access the car park as the barrier did not lift up. She said it should lift up with a sensor, I replied ‘great I thought that would be the case, but It hasn’t lifted up’. To which she half laughed and said ‘Well I’m actually parked in there so it definitely lifts up’. I wasn’t sure what to say after feeling accused of lying to her about the barrier, I asked what she suggested I do to solve the matter as in fact the barrier has not lifted up and that is a problem. To which she seemed stressed and suggest I go away and try again. The barrier worked on the second attempt. I’m sure without a problem at hand the receptionist would be very pleasant.

Stayed over the weekend for 2 nights. The facilities are so fantastic. Enjoyed my good stay and promise to come back again.
it would help long staying clients to text car park key code each day Some one needs to be in attendance and going round checking the ladies and gentlemen changing rooms And always have someone supervising the swimming pool, sauna and steamer rooms: can make use of young apprentices to manage the costs. There was a block sox behind the chair in the right corner, maybe you can go check if its since been cleaned that area. i forgot my track bottom and work t-shirt labelled snecare , I reported this on Monday and was told someone will check and come back to me. I have not received any call or message about this.

The staff were lovely ladies at the desk and a lovely gentleman in the morning at the pool area, very welcoming and seemed the same with everyone. I was surprised by the amenities there and how clean everything was considering the price.
There were a lot of unhygienic men in the pool area who didn't seem to know to wash themselves before entering the pool and steam/sauna area so they spread a smell of b.o and one guy who must of been a smoker swam over to the side of the pool and spat phlegm out and continued coughing and spitting around the place. After seeing that, we left the area. this is not the hotel or staffs fault at all I'm writing this because someone should be aware and perhaps speak to these men as they seemed to be regulars and they must not of been able to read English 🤔

Loved the breakfast. Especially the avocado smoothie. The staff were so friendly. Can't fault them at all. Especially reception and breakfast staff and the gentleman who was at breakfast and was on his way home when I was leaving the car park and he stopped to let me out so that I didn't have to bother with the code. Very conscientious.
Staff could keep a closer eye on when stuff is running out, especially the eggs which could be dry. The Thai vegan curry was too salty and some vegan options for dessert would be nice. TV in room could be upgraded so that we can have Netflix.

The excellent customer service skills from each and every member I came into contact with. starting with the lovely warm welcome as i booked at reception. To the lady who cleaned the rooms. She was so lovely, I had mistakenly put the wrong sign on the door. I had put on the one to get the room cleaned instead of "Do not disturb", she was genuinely concerned that i had been booked into a room that hadn't been cleaned. It had been, it was delightfully clean. I know how hard it is to do their job as i have worked in the hospitality business in hotels & holiday camps previously. To the lovely warm reception when i went into the breakfast room in the morning. I had a fitful sleep. Absolutely outstandingly customer service. Most of all, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had staying in hotels. Very good quality, massive selection & omg the coffee, nice & strong, food was a great selection, hot, very well cooked by the chef. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn too at Middlesbrough, their hotel pales in comparison to yours. Occasionally I stay over in Middlesbrough as I commute to work by train. I recommend everyone to go to events at Middlesbrough Town Hall then stay over at Leonardo. Leonardo has upgraded the hotel from the previous owner & improved the car park. Absolutely love the mural on the wall. Brings colour to an urban town.
Not applicable. Everything was amazing.

Needed a hotel with a central location and the Leonardo met all expectations with safe parking a bonus. 5th floor room which was well appointed. Did not intend to have breakfast but did and it was excellent with a wide choice of quality products and I would suppose the food would be as good in the evening. The staff were all friendly and engaging.
Mattress seemed a bit hard but that's a hotel bed. There was one light out over the bathroom mirror. Armchair seat seemed a bit low; but these are all minor points

Good location, near station and bars. Boro a decent place for real ale, if you’re prepared to walk (or taxi). Room great. Staff all excellent. Kettle in room. Breakfast paid for the night before good value. Plenty of choice. Eggs cooked well. Too early to check in but easily stored our luggage securely.
Bathroom could do with a bit of fixing and touch up paint. Should have mentioned but didn’t. Minor. No coffee maker. Bar shut Saturday night 11pm as all Leonardos. But plenty of nearby late night bars at the weekend.

It was an ideal location for Riverside stadium which was walking distance, the overall lobby was extravagant and the staff were friendly and helpful, the car parking was well priced and secure
Our hotel window was broken which didn’t seem safe to open, the bathroom was outdated and although clean on the surface it seemed a little grubby on the floor and around the sink are and edges of the bath/shower. Stepping into the bath from a shiny tiled floor onto a slippery bath surface and then out again wasn’t very safe and for someone like me that may not be classed as disabled but struggles with hip and leg issues it was uncomfortable to get in and out of.
