Stopped for a night here en route to Scotland. Guy who checked me in had a great sense of humour and was very helpful. Kitchen, bathroom, and room were spotless. On street parking right outside on a no-through-road. Aldi at the end of the street for easy snacks. Bed was very comfortable.

Good to note that the building is not entirely soundproof - I was woken up early Sunday morning (before 7am) by other guests yelling as they left which is on the other them, not the property. Some of the cleaning products used in the communal spaces are overwhelmingly fragrant. Just a personal preference for something not as strongly scented.

I think my other half referred to the property having a very homely feel to it totally agree with this. They were very basic rules posted around the hotel which was just best practice and the host Mary was lovely and nothing was to much trouble for her and she made it clear that she could be contacted if needed and showed us round it was clean and tidy and adequate for the money paid.

The area is may be the only thing that let it down the parking was limited but it was a street so it’s going to be having said that we managed to get both cars parked there but I feel the pros outweigh the cons as this was beyond Mary’s control.

The room was very neat the towels the soap and body cream the chocolate on the pillows the kitchen was very neat

I didn’t like some of the pillows as it was very hard to sleep on . Also the windo needs curtains not blinds alone the sunshine really disturbed my sleep from 4am I couldn’t sleep again until I went to work . Also the room needs fan because it was very warm in there though window was opened in all I loved the place

Not keen on a shared bathroom but we were only here for 1 night so it was fine

Host: Very warm, helpful and available Location: easy access to the bus and shops. Perfect! Shared kitchen: spacious, clean and has that you need (including large potsand saucepans) Shared toilet: I was amazingly surprised and pleased with the cleanliness as I had never shared before and was worried General: Lots of tea/coffee in room and kitchen. Vey welcome! Cleaning staff: Friendly, helpful and does an excellent job I loved all the rules pasted on the doors and walls. I will use this accommodation again for sure. Very good value for money.

The TV was too big therefore it took up rioom space unnecessarily,.

Liked the friendly service from Mary and John, great facilities, liked the free WiFi, Netflix firestick and sky tv facilities , but most of all I loved how comfortable the memory bed was sleep'd like a log.

Tbh I carnt think of anything, I had a lovely time and laughs with partner. John the handyman is friendly to talk with also.

Room was clean, good. All facilities in room. Got my clothes laundered for no extra cost. Very cooperative land lady. I liked the hospitality.

In kitchen the pans were quite old, not at all non stick. That was a bit inconvenient thing for me. Otherwise everything was beyond my expectation.

Stayed in the new building (opposite house) which is the extension of the original Outram 26 The old building and the rooms are being renovated and upgraded. I stayed in a great room, very clean, big bed, big tv, coffee, tea etc.. Plenty of on-street parking avaiable. I would stay again when next visiting the area.

The must what we like was a bed . So comfy also all was in the room what we need.

Can't believe this place is only £42 per night, it's amazing value for money. The owner Mary, is so accommodating, friendly and approachable. The bathroom facilities are faultless, clean and always smell's so good, The bed is so comfortable and there are tea and coffee facilities available endlessly. Just loved our stay.
