Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Location is good and the staff very friendly. Nice beer garden..
Car park is not massive and is for everyone wether resident or not so its a bit tight. People not properly parked didn't help but we managed alright. The room had a few niggles but, to be fair, the couple in charge have only been there one week and we're more than pleased to be told any problems as they have started a to do list. ( they did ask us about any problems and we told them. We are not ones to complain willy nilly )

Minute arrived the staff couldn’t do anymore for you, the rooms were spotless very smart and really comfortable. The food was amazing and the lay out of the beer garden just added that little bit of relaxation having that cold beer in the sun.
There was nothing I could find to complain about this property, the new owners are going to do really well if that’s the service they are going to maintain they should be proud of there hard work,

Really friendly staff. We arrived 8ish with the kids, all starving, and they were really helpful. Told the chef there would be a late order and by the time we'd dropped the bag there was a table reserved for us. Some of the food reviews weren't great but we had a super experience - traditional pub grub in the evening and the cooked breakfast and eggs were really great.
Only small criticism is the room was a bit rickety - wobbly toilet, wobbly stairs to bunk bed. It didn't matter at all but some minor repairs would have got it a 10 out of 10

Great location for my purpose. Room was very clean and tea and coffee facilities good. Great pub food in the evening. Friendly atmosphere and large beer garden with suitable undercover areas. Dogs welcome outside only.
Check in was a bit awkward as the pub was closed. Check in at 1600 when pub opened. When travelling from place to place for work check in earlier would have been greet so I could do some work. Breakfast offering, continental only in the week, is a great idea for a swift get away in the morning. I didn't have breakfast but it seemed good value for money. Cooked breakfast is avaiable at weekends only.

Really friendly staff. They were willing to go the extra mile.
It was just unfortunate it was the hottest day of the year. Any other time of year it would be great.

Room was clean, comfortable & had all that you required. Staff were excellent & very helpful. Evening had dinner in the restaurant, which was well prepared and some considerable portion sizes! Unfortunately I had an early start in the morning so couldn't stay for the breakfast.. next time!!
Room was really hot, It had been a hot day anyway, the old school sash window only opened a few inches, thankfully there was a electric fan, which i left on all night. Shower cubicle was a bit of a faff.

Room really comfortable and spotless, shower lovely. Loved the additions like ironing board & Iron plus hairdryer. Also liked the little fridge although I didn’t use it. Information regarding night porter etc very clear.Lovely having decaf coffee option . Also likes the shower gel / hair & body wash plus conditioner.
Single bed a bit uncomfortable. Did think room rate for single a bit much , although this is very common . As a , now single person I find it very frustrating !!!! Also could have done with info / little map on website regarding public transport . This is again something I have found frustrating on many occasions. Not everyone drives

It was close to other family members. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There was 12 of us for a meal and the staff were attentive and didn’t need to wait for food or drinks. Excellent food.
The shower in my room was very small. There was no allocated parking for staying guests which made it a hit or miss to get a space.
