The reception staff when we arrived were excellent, they greeted us with a smile and helped with everything. When leaving the following day the reception staff that were on did not speak to us and when my husband approached the reception desk walked away. Breakfast was not too bad. Plenty to choose from, sausages not that great. One member of staff was very helpful, but when my husband tried to talk to another member of staff she ignored him. I had booked the mobility room due to being in a wheelchair. Only downside was the bed was too close to the wall where the emergency cord was so I could not get my wheelchair down that side so I had to sleep on the opposite side so I could transfer into it. The bed was comfortable, so were the pillows. The bathroom was a decent size, but the pull down seat was a bit of a let down since it wobbled.

I think the bed should have been more into the centre of the room so wheelchairs can go down either side and emergency cords to both sides of the bed. A portable grab rail would have being a good offer.

It was modern and clean, rooms were good sizes and the bathrooms were lovely. Lighting around mirror was a nice touch which made it feel like a luxury hotel. Loved how breakfast was included & there was plenty to choose from. 12pm checkout was very generous as most places are about the 10am mark. This helped as our stay was for a wedding so late night!

Having to pay for parking per night when we already paid a relatively pricey amount for a two night stay. Wasn’t aware of this until arrival, but on the flip side good to know I was able to leave my car in a secure location

We liked breakfast choice and fact it was ready from 6am (a lot of placed do not serve before 8am on Sunday and my son needed good breakfast before sport competition later on). Comfort in room and size of beds was a plus.

We ate supper in the hotel and ordered 2 burgers (1chicken, 1beef). Quality of burgers wasn't too great, not to mention portion size especially for £15-16 each. I must say I felt KFC had better quality of meat and there was no salad or garnish on side. I probably wouldn't order dinner there again or maybe go for a pizza.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived the room was cool. It was very cold outside, minus 5 forecast. The duvet on the bed was very thin. I went down to reception and requested a blanket. Immediately a lady arrived at our room with an extra duvet. The lady on reception checked a monitor that told her the heating on our room was on air con. She changed it to heating and the room warmed fairly quickly. Problem solved. We were lovely and warm. We stayed one night for a gig at the Georgian Theatre. Perfect, a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was good.

Considering the forecast it would have been nice to arrive in a room with heating on.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Gill at reception, who was very kind too. The place was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, the coffee was good and the food was plentiful. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Would recommend...

I think the only things the hotel could do to make a stay for me more comfortable would be policy changes such as allowing dogs or having a mini fridge in each room, as standard. There was nothing I disliked about our stay.

Having followed my Sat nav I found the location to be in an excellent location and within easy short walking distance of the location i needed to attend. Furthermore, it was very local to the Cmas market too. The hotel is very sleek and modern. What impacts the traveller immediately is the cleanliness and bright and airy environment of the reception. The rooms are as expected with its basic facilities to hand. The room is bright and very clean with a modern styling about it. We decided to eat our evening meal before heading out and although the menu wasn't vast of choice the quality of food was more than appealing in taste and presentation. Overall, if you need to stay in Stockton on Tees make the hotel your 1st choice as I will if I ever need to return. Many thanks Hampton Hilton.

Everything!! The entire time, I was in awe at how lovely everything was. Made good use of the fitness centre, went around Stockton for a little, and then back to the hotel. Loved chilling in the room watching a movie. The room itself was absolutely stunning. Everything was so clean and felt really homely. The bed was super comfy with really big fluffy pillows that felt like you were sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast the next day was to die for. Lots to choose from, various nutritional drinks which told you what vitamins were included, all self-serve. I was shocked to see there was a waffle maker there where you could make your own with multiple toppings, syrup, etc. Overall, the stay was perfect, and I'll definitely be coming back again, even if it's to just stay in the hotel haha

Breakfast was disappointing I would have hoped for more fresh fruit like bananas/pears and fresh apples (the apples that where on display were bruised and the skin was broken). The food for the evening should have a healthy option, you only offered pizza.

It was welcoming clean and very comfortable

The absolute chaotic breakfast it was difficult to find a seat and even once you did the room where you went to get drinks food from was so busy things were running out and not being replaced at one point there were no plates for the hot breakfast all in all very disappointing experience for breakfast. Once we did get something to eat it tasted very nice and of good quality but the whole experience would put me off having bfast at the hotel

The hotel is immaculate, staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and has everything you need. The location was fine, and handy for visiting the Forum.

The only slight thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast, limited selection for me (only 1 type of egg on offer) and the bacon/sausage not cooked to my liking. Personal choice, but I like plum tomatoes, which are often hard to come by for some reason.
