It is very easy to find, great location, with ample car parking available. Friendly staff, fast check in..Room was a good size ( standard twin), and beds were super comfy and snuggly. We had a complimentary hospitality tray with tea, coffee, and Biscoff biscuits. We had ample clothes storage and bedside cabinets. There was a hairdryer in the wardrobe, too. The bathroom was a good size , a huge mirror, and very soft fluffy blankets. We added the optional breakfast served 0700am-0930am for just £6 each. It's excellent value for money and good quality for what we paid. The staff throughout have been wonderful and always happy to help. We used the pub on both nights, plentiful seating areas, and a lively vibe throughout. If I'm ever back this way, I would 100% return for another stay... it exceeded my expectations and for what we paid for the nightly rate was very good value for money. I travelled with my youngest child, who has Autism, so picking the right hotel was a big stress, but honestly, I couldn't have picked any better, he loved it too! We felt very warm on the first night, as no air conditioning, so I asked for a fan, and it was not a problem. We slept like babies on the 2nd night. The other bonus was a Tesco Express fuel station. I had forgotten a few essentials, so I just walked over the road, very convenient. It also meant I could easily fill up my car before our long 310-mile trip back down South.
I was very happy and have nothing bad to say at all.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean.
We booked a table in the restaurant for 4:30pm to have a meal before going to the Take That concert. We had a taxi booked for 6:15pm to take us to the venue, expecting this would be ample time but unfortunately we had to wait 1hr 20mins for our food to arrive which left us having to eat our meal in 10mins. We were not told, when ordering, that the food would take this long to be served. There was a private function taking place at the same time, the problem was not enough staff and lack of communication 😒

Staff are lovely. Great location. Food and drink exceptional. Great parking. Got upgraded free of charge to one of the newer refurbished rooms. Coffee machine and fridge.
We were on the 2nd floor and the shower pressure was very poor. Room was boiling hot despite having the window open and all radiators off. We had a boxed in pipe that run the full length of the room that was hot.

The room was comfy, the service was good, the pub was full,l but we were served as quick as the staff could be. They were friendly, even though they were all really busy..there were families in for the football ⚽
I didn't like that I was told by a voice machine they didn't have any tables that could fulfill 9 people, so my daughter called in, personal and was happy that they could get a table.

Location ideal. Easy access to Redcar , Whitby and Saltburn. Clean and comfortable . I got a ground floor room which I requested . Staff all helpful here.
Nothing bad to report . I would suggest putting more hangers in the wardrobe. Only 4 provided. There was a lot of noise and arguing going on in the car park Saturday night from drunken punters from the pub and smoking area at the front . All good apart from that.

The room was clean and had everything you wanted. The catering was very good and there was a good and friendly ambience in the bars but there again it is what I would expect from someone who was born just over a mile away. I am glad that the friendliness has stayed the same and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only instructions for the tv for someone who does not understand. Was able to put it on for certain things but I could have always asked and I was not there to watch the tv.

If you get one of the recently modernised rooms they have been done really nicely. The older rooms are okay, but very dated. I am sure they will be updating all of them at some point. The cleaning team are lovely, nothing is an issue for them and they clean to a good standard. The bar is always lively and friendly. Reception staff are always polite.

Coffee machine was nice as was the iron and ironing board. The room was nice as was the additional comfy chair (1) in a double room?
No shelf in the bathroom so no where to put anything plus the only mirror in the bathroom was a small shaving mirror. Although I didn't mind, the water pressure in the shower was very low.

As a regular guest to the bluebell, we were both very impressed by the changes the new management team has implemented. The hotel lobby now has a new look from its dark and dreary past. The rooms are basic but clean. While we were visiting, my partner also had his school reunion on the same night as the Christmas party night. The disco and karaoke were great, and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
