Hotel run by an extremely helpful and friendly couple. The female speaks excellent English and the male explained in French the Breakfast set up. Breakfast was very good and extensive. Room very clean, and shower excellent. Free secure parking at hotel. Location. 15mins walk for the eateries, or right next to the Railway station for cheap trips to Azay de Rideau and Tours City.

Room was very compact

The price was good and the location is close to the train station. The staff is friendly. The room is not very big but comfy. It gets very hot at night.

It is a shame that you can't check-in after 8 p.m. The breakfast is a bit expensive so I didn't take it.

There were nice things for breakfast although not a huge choice. Parking for bikes was excellent and secure. Quiet area.

Breakfast was apportioned - one half of a baguette and one croissant per person. The WiFi did not work upstairs. Seems paltry. The plug sockets did not work owing to a fault.

The staff at the hotel were all Friendly. It had a nice local independent feel. The free parking was good and seemed safe as we were travelling with a lot of things in the back of an estate.car.

Only stayed one night.The room had a little to strong air freshener smell.

Not sure what was happening on ground floor. Also reception, indeed hotel, not open when arrived late afternoon. Took two phone calls to get a response then all ok

Although I was late arriving as my phone failed me with the directions yo the hotel, however the reception I received was very friendly and helpful I was very tired after travelling from the UK. Ferry and a long drive Thank you

People were super nice. Bed was beyond comfortable. Breakfast was oh so scrumptious.

It took some doing to get myself into the hotel early on a Sunday afternoon. Always make sure to notify the property of you arrival time!

A ten minute easy walk to the centre of Chinon. Very secure free car parking.

Bar shut early evening or late afternoon. No restaurant open without the walk.

Second time staying here and I really enjoy the quaint atmosphere of the hotel. It feels old-school with lovely wooden staircases, shutters and exposed beams. Free parking and a short walk into Chinon. Lovely

Location near the station made the hotel very easy to find. The parking facility was excellent and stayed open late. Manager was friendly and efficient. Rooms small but well designed and comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was fine if a bit limited.
