Even though the property is a bit removed from the city center, public transport could get us there in 15 minutes and the privacy/countryside feel of the inn was WELL worth the sacrifice of proximity. You have a beautiful view of the mountains from afar! Breakfast was top tier, the room was very nice, clean and cozy, but the best part was easily the service/staff! Michaela did everything she could to make us feel at home and to make our trip great. She sat with us at breakfast to answer our questions about the city, she checked the weather forecast for us, leant us her umbrella, and gave us great tips for what to do during our stay. She really cared that we got the most out of our trip.

The few dislikes were the shared balcony (we wished the barrier was a bit higher between the rooms for more privacy) and the shower which drained into an area including the sink, so whenever you used the sink you had to stand in a puddle.

A wow experience of Austrian hospitality! The guesthouse was exactly as described, set in beautiful countryside yet with easy access to the city centre. Bus stop is a 7mn walk and it's a 10mn ride to Salzburg's train station. The views are breathtaking and the accommodation actually consists of self-contained studios with a very comfortable bed, sofa, desk, chairs and a kitchenette which was very handy. The views from the balcony overlooking Salzburg and the mountains around were a memorable experience that will stay with me for a long time. The host, Michaela, is super friendly and welcoming. What a superb stay - highly recommended!

I really liked the view from my patio door of Salzburg in the distance. You could spot some of the significant landmarks. It was also pretty to see it at night. The view of the mountains as a backdrop to the city gave a nice Alpine feel. The Alpenstil styled home lent itself well to guests. The building's structure was of fine quality. The shining star of the visit for me was the buffet breakfast. The variety was amazing! Anything you can think of that you would appreciate for breakfast can be found in the generous spread. Some of the pastry items are made from scratch by the matriarch of the kitchen. This amazing baker and cook also provided several homemade jams and juices. It was a great way to start off my day in a very fresh way.

I didn't like that I had to be in town early for a day trip one of the days of my stay which deprived me of the wonderful breakfast. I really missed that great start to my day!

Their insights made exploring Salzburg easy and enjoyable. The location is fantastic! Nestled in nature, just a short bus ride and a pleasant 10-minute walk from town, it offers a breathtaking view of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to such a stunning landscape was a true treat. All in all, a great stay! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with wonderful hospitality.

Breathtaking view of Salzburg & the alps. Breakfast is awesome. The staff is so friendly. I arrived early & managed to get the room & check in early. I left my suitcase & took a day trip to Ramsau village in Germany. I enjoyed walking right in front of the property down to the park & and playground, crossing the small bridge to the main road. This neighbourhood is such a nice & quiet area.

There is no lift/elevator in the building. So I had to carry my suitcase onto the 2nd floor. It's more convenient in case you own or rent a car. If not, the bus station is almost 10 minutes' walk from the property. But it's such a pleasant walk through the field.

The views from the location were like a painting coming to life. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the bus stop. The breakfast spread can easily go head to head with any star hotel option…simply amazing. The host Michaela was very attentive, informative, and helpful. We highly recommend this place to get a unique Salzburg experience.

The room has a lot of space. It's decorated nicely and was very clean with a spacious bathroom. Plenty of space to put things. The area is very pretty and we had a great view of the city from our room. Lots of towels and a kettle and microwave that can be used in the common area and you can pay extra to use the kitchenette. There is a table with chairs, a couch, and a little balcony. Lots of natural light. We had a car and parking was complimentary. We were able to park right in front. Michaela is awesome! Breakfast was included and the spread was amazing! Such a wide variety and so many delicious options. Her hospitality is wonderful and we felt spoiled and special. She is kind, helpful, and made sure we felt at home. Her family was the same. Great value and wonderful home to stay in. Very close to city center and convenient if you have a car.

We stayed at the top on the 3rd floor. There are A LOT of stairs. We had more luggage that we would have liked to lug up that many stairs because we had a long trip. Additionally, the ceilings are slanted which lends to some of the charm but not great if you are a klutz or forget that you can sit up or stand up without thinking because you'll bang your head. LOL. Wonderful place, warm and cozy and incredible host. I would just request a lower floor unless you want the workout and you aren't tall.

Large room that had very comfortable large double bed, shower was superb. Room was lovely & warm which given the temps were around 0 at the warmest during my stay was very welcome. About 20 minutes walk from city centre or 5 minutes to the bus stop but area felt safe even as a solo female traveller & far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre that I could rest & relax when in my room. Balcony view of the mountains was stunning a particular selling point for me. Breakfast was included and very tasty buffet with plenty of choice. Owner was very helpful with tips and suggestions for local area including transport and places to go/things to see and also just a really lovely friendly lady. Very reasonable price. Owner was very accommodating to my arrival time & any other questions I had regarding my stay.

Not a dislike more a tip have cash for the city tax payment on your checking out.

Breakfast was delicious. The view from the balcony was spectacular and charming. I have taken so many photos of the view and make them my screensaver pics. The view itself makes the stay worthy. I would want to return once again some day. The room is spacious and the host is very friendly and helpful.

There are about 100 meters of road to the house is little bit tough for suitcase roller if you choose to reach the house by public transportation. If you choose by taxi, it is not a problem. The taxi fee from Salzburg Train Station is about 12 Euro.
