For the price I was expecting bad things, it was very clean and recently refurbed. - It wasn't fancy, but then I didnt pay for fancy.

A kettle in the room and a mini fridge would have made much happier.

Really close to the train station, and lots of places around to grab something to eat quickly. Reception were very friendly and helpful, stored our bags for free when we checked out which was really helpful. We didn’t try the breakfast. Finding a room for 5 people is always challenging but this one worked really well for us and felt as though we had enough space and everyone slept really well. Shower was good and handy being separate from the toilet.

You had to be careful with the toilet which kept flushing if you used the big flushing button as opposed to the small one.

Ideal for a 1 day stop over. The staff were lovely, the room was perfect for our group of 5 and the facilities were decent enough. It was clean as well which is always good. Near the train station which was perfect for us and it was very reasonable in cost. Over all, it served our needs perfectly and I would use it again in future if I was doing a similar trip.

When I booked the hotel, it had a slight name change a few weeks after which seemed odd. Then another few weeks later I received a WhatsApp message from a spam/hacker claiming to be Harry's hotel asking for payment. Harry's assured me it was spam and to ignore it but all the way leading up to the stay, it did make me question if this was a legitimate place... thankfully it was and we had no problems but it was an uncomfortable start!

The property was fresh and new. The staff were very helpful. The room was spacious. We had an extra single bed in the room which was handy for the luggage that didn’t fit on the regular luggage stand. Location was an easy walk from the station and handy to the transport hub for buses to go into the main part of town. The continental breakfast was great and I loved the inclusion of bacon and scrambled eggs.

We usually like a fridge and have found the majority of economical hotels on our Europe trip don’t have them. The shower door needed adjustment. The late checkin was a little inconvenient but they let us drop off our luggage.

I booked a room as single and received a three-bed room. I did not mind it as it had everyting you need - beds, bathroom, tv, wifi, windows, curtains... All ok. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and all needed amenities. Breakfast was very good. You have the choice of several bread varieties, croissants, fruit, joghurt, charcuterie and cheese, raw vegetables, jams, omlette - a regular continental breakfast. Coffee is really good. Several drinks machines are available in the hotel lobby. The hotel is next to the Salzburg main train station and two small shopping centers. In the square in front of the train station you can get a bus directly to the Salzburg airport. Small transport tip: get a 24-h ticket-card for the bus instead of several one-trip tickets. It saves you a lot.

The only down side I see is that in the three-bed room there was very little storage space. Two shelves and a kind of v-shaped basket above the third bed. If you spend a couple of nights it is ok, but for a longer period of time not very practical. Not a negative point, but to be mentioned here: across the hotel there was construction going on (May 2024). I stayed during a bank holiday weekend, so nobody was actually working. However, during normal working days, there could be some construction noise.

Location was good, walking distance from city. We did mind construction works around,since it was quiet. Bedroom was spacious,and clean on arrival. Polite staff, they try to help out as much as possibly they can.

We didn’t get our room cleaned every time we left a sign on the door. After second day shower gel was finished and never refilled till we left home. Bins were cleaned just once in 5 days. Also we were planning to rent a car and use hotels parking… price was 15€ per days which seems little too much in my opinion.

Harry’s was close to the HBF and various shops, which made it quite convenient. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful, we were able to check in early and drop our bags off, allowing us to enjoy a full day in Salzburg without carrying around our things. The breakfast had many options.

Our shower head was broken and on two occasions someone walked into our room while we were there without knocking. We think this was a mistake with the keycards, however this certainly could have been prevented…

Breakfast was good. Rooms were nice.

Location. I guess I didn't do my homework. I knew it would be outside the city but I was not aware it would be in such an industrial area. There were no authentic restaurants nearby. In fact, there were few restaurants near by period. Staff person that checked us in was missing a button in the middle of his shirt. It was distracting. Perhaps staff should be advised to bring another set of clothing in the event of a mishap.

The location very near the main station was excellent. We were a family of 7 and the room set up was very good, 3 bunk beds and a double. It was good that the toilet and shower rooms were separate when we were such a big party. We arrived at 12:00 and as the room was available we were OK to check in. This was appreciated. The next morning reception stored our many bags willingly. Really like the property!

It was the most expensive stay of our holiday but this seemed to be standard in Salzburg.

Our stay was pleasant for a family of 6. No 5 star facilities however, very clean and the staff were excellent. Always willing to help when needed. Breakfast was decent enough too! It was close to the main train station which made getting around easy, however there always seemed to be drunk / less than desirable people in the main station square..

The beds were like hostel style with metal racks beside the bed which my kids did not love
