Really love everything about the place, close to the train station, close to stores & there's even a bus stop right outside the hotel. The hotel room was nice, bathroom is huge as well as the room itself.

Apparently there's a thing called mobility tickets for tourists that you can use to travel in Austria for free & your hotel needs to inform/give you the ticket when checking in. We weren't informed about this, a kind bus driver told us when we were on our way home from Hallstatt spending almost €100 already for transportation when it could've been free. Asked the reception when we came back & they just told us "oh yeah, the reception was supposed to inform you about this but didn't". I find this really unfortunate & a waste of money.

For the price I was expecting bad things, it was very clean and recently refurbed. - It wasn't fancy, but then I didnt pay for fancy.

A kettle in the room and a mini fridge would have made much happier.

The location right around the corner from the trains and buses was very handy. We highly recommend getting a Salzburg Card [from the tobacconist across from the information office at the train station] and hopping onto one of those nearby buses at the station if you want to see a lot in one day - the cable car is included so investigate that one as it's worth the little bit of extra travel on the same bus as Schloss Hellbrunn. The room and ensuite were modern and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and replaced the too high pillows and helped with our queries. There was a supermarket or more close by and places to eat. There was a nice area downstairs that a group could get together at and chat and play games. We can recommend.

We wanted to wash our clothes and ran around a bit looking for somewhere as the hotel couldn't help. Our tip is to visit the hostel just down the road a bit and ask at reception. You can sign up online to their service and use their machines.

The reception was very responsive and they greeted me warmly. Also gave a free one day pass for public transportation. Room was ready before announced check in time and it was clean. Everything worked pretty well. It was actually more than I expected cause first I thought this was truly a budget hotel.

They charge for the towel and there was no fridge in the room. Breakfast was noisy and full of people. It could have been better and last f.ex til 11…but can’t complain when it was included the price. Little things make great difference. Also have never seen that much food waste that I saw at the breakfast (even they try to support green values)

The breakfast was excellent. As we eat gluten free it really set us up for the day, particularly as it was hard to find gluten free at the sights. We appreciated being given a free bus pass for use on the city buses throughout our stay. It also took us back to the airport. As a transport enthusiast, my husband was in seventh heaven. He had buses trams and trains to watch from our window

It would have been nice to have coffee in our room. There is a kettle and we were able to make tea before breakfast.

Really close to the train station, and lots of places around to grab something to eat quickly. Reception were very friendly and helpful, stored our bags for free when we checked out which was really helpful. We didn’t try the breakfast. Finding a room for 5 people is always challenging but this one worked really well for us and felt as though we had enough space and everyone slept really well. Shower was good and handy being separate from the toilet.

You had to be careful with the toilet which kept flushing if you used the big flushing button as opposed to the small one.

This us a low-cost option that was conveniently located, close to the main train station and other public transportation; just a few stops from Old Town Salzburg. It is a quiet area, away from the crowds, close to a grocery and some small resturants. Perfect resting place. Although there is a construction site across the street, it is the quietest one I have ever seen (not heard!).

The lighting in the room was ridiculous! The bathroom and entry we very well lit, but the main sleeping area had just one Edison-style bulb in a central ceiling fixture. It provided almost no light at all. It was hard to see as we were packing up on our last morning with an early train to catch.

Breakfast was good, everything that you need and BellaBot was a huge source of enjoyment for the kids! Room was great for a family travelling together and who want to be all in a room together, all clean, great facilities. Location was excellent for getting to and from the airport and the station for travelling around the city and beyond.

Unfortunately the beds were really uncomfortable, super hard in fact and the pillows and duvet really thin so pretty hard to sleep through the night and gave me an aching back actually. Also small but the curtains were not wide enough to cover the whole window, fine in the winter when we travelled but I imagine that in the summer this would be a problem!

The room was clean and well set up for our family of four. Also appreciated having two sinks and 3 mirrors. Also having a couch and bunk beds was great. Staff was lovely. Location is great for the main train station and easy to get on with bus, however a 30 min walk from the old town. Only real issue was that the room was extremely hot… we tried everything to cool it down and informed front desk but temperature never improved.

Room bigger than I expected (even had shelf) Unlike previous reviews by others, room was cool and comfy during our stay. Beds also very comfy (though pillows too flat) Relatively clean room, though luggage containers under the beds were dusty - but we were not too bothered)

We booked non-refundable stay for 5 nights via booking.com. But only managed to stay 3 nights coz our arrival was delayed due to bad weather. Received a message before arrival that our booking was non-refundable and non-cancellable, so will keep the booking for us so long as we arrive within the 5-day period. We were mentally prepared to stay 3 nights despite having paid 5 nights previously. But was surprised that at check-in, we were told that our previous booking has been cancelled and we have to pay for 3 nights in a new booking. Luckily after some time, the staff managed to work things out for us. Appreciated it!
