The whole staff were friendly and happy to help with advice and any requests. Breakfast was good with a fair choice of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, fruit etc. The room was really very clean and the bed comfy. Shower room was perfectly adequate for my needs. A Kettle was in the room however I would prefer if there were tea bags and coffee already in the room maybe even a complimentary biscuit. I got the tea bags simply by asking in reception so no real problems there. The location is only a few minutes walk from the main bus and train station and is down a quiet side street. The city centre is only a 10 -15 minute walk away and you can take the scenic route alongside the river or the main route passing shops and restaurants/ eateries of which there are many to choose from. The buses are frequent and will take you anywhere in comfort at a reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay here and the price was very fair.

Tea bags/ coffee/ sugar etc not in the room. Would be nice when I got back to have it available ( and maybe complimentary biscuits). Not a deal breaker though as I only had to ask and I had it.

The room was very comfortable and in two part - one for the parents and one for our daughter. There was a small kitchenette and a table that we could sit and have a meal or just talk. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Parking is limited but free! The hotel is accessed fairly easy coming from Germany. It was clean and had this old Austrian charm.

The neighborhood is gradually destroyed by big and VERY ugly apartment blocks! One can still see some of the old housing that once stood here and now being replaced along with the native population of the area. The businesses around appear to be replaced by some middle eastern flavor, uncommon and not expected while visiting Austria. One feels sad (and to a certain level unsafe) of this change to no good.

Recently renovated room. Very spacious and clean. Reserved a triple room and it exceeded our expectations. 2 separate rooms with a small kitchen area, fridge and dining area. Breakfast buffet had lots of hot and cold options. Lovely breakfast room area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to train station and a short walk to the old town. Would definitely stay here again. Great value. Not sure why only 2 stars? Our room was great!!

Location to Salzburg Railway Station a 5min walk, 20 minute walk into old town area. Good breakfast, comfortable bed. Able to leave luggage until later in the day. 24hour Reception.

Being told off by the older family member running the Hotel when still eating after 10am and still in dining room for breakfast which served until 10am. and we were there by 9.40a.m. Said he employs Staff to work a certain time yet we had everything we needed at our table. Could Not get hot water to run in room..evidently indicator said was red not blue. One of the son’s came up to the room and said hot yet to us was Luke warm! Although very quiet for busy road outside noise Not soundproof inside as 6-6.30a.m. Woken by next room noise.. sneezing, coughing, or moving around room. When mentioned to the older person was told it is a Hotel and people move round at different times. There was a small fridge and a kettle but NO cups or anything else Tea Bags, spoons etc.

4 mins walk from the main station, good spacious room , good breakfast options, around 20min walk into the old town, Trolley No.1 route in and out of town goes close to the hotel.

Very close to the railway station, nice hotel with friendly atmosphere and helpful staff that speak good English. Good room with even a small fridge and water kettle. We had to ask for tea cups at reception in order to use the kettle, but were provided with them instantly. Bathroom clean and nice. Wardrobe with tall mirror. Quiet location of our room at the back of the hotel on inner square. Room was serviced every day, even though we stayed only two nights. Nice bedding and beds. Overall clean, apart from behind the frames and beds.

No bin bags in the bins in both the bathroom snd the room itself. Especially in the bathroom we did not find that very hygienic. One frame was not hanging straight and upon adjusting this we found a lot of dust behind it that we dealt with. There was also quite some dust behind the head boards of the beds which became visible after needing to move the beds slightly to get to the sockets to charge our phones.

we had the best sleep here & a great shower. nice view of the mountains from the window. short walk to sights of salzburg & staff very helpful.

Location, we just walked to go to mirabell gardens, hohensalzburg fortress and other areas

The shower doesn't have a door and or shower curtains. The water from shower head kept splashing on the whole bathroom. I had to get someone from the desk, named Heinz to let him see the issue. Very nice gentleman who said " that's normal " I told him, I just want to protect your hotel.i want to be a responsible guest so your hotel will still be here for future generations. Met the owner the following day who knew the issue because Heinz talked to him already. Mark the owner is a gentleman who explained everything to me. I appreciate all his good deeds.

I really liked this hotel. It is close to the main train station as well as the bus stop which takes you to and from the airport as welll as to the centre of Salzburg. It is only about a 5 minute walk to the train station/bus stop and only a 15-minute, very pleasant walk to the Altstadt. The area was quiet - I didn't hear any traffic noise. There is a Thai takeaway and a pizzeria close by. The room was very cosy and warm. It was clean. There was a shutter on the window to keep out the light which was very much appreciated. The shower was very powerful with plenty of hot water. There was a small bar of soap provided. The bed was comfortable. Room had a desk, fridge and TV. Very reasonably priced. The best part of my stay was the staff. Everyone was so kind, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all very much for being so welcoming to me. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again on my return to Salzburg.

If you are a light sleeper, you will need to use ear plugs as the room isn't soundproof. You can hear people in the corridors and doors shutting. However, with earplugs, I didn't hear a thing and did not have my sleep disturbed.

The hotel is very easy to find - a block away from the train station. It is also 'just along the road' within 10 minute's walk to the Mirabell Gardens and tours around this area. I felt safe walking around during the day, and people were helpful if needed. The cleaning lady was very kind and helpful. The bed was moderately comfortable. The linen was not cotton /or I felt cool lying on. The duvet was too hot for the weather. No options available in the room if this was the case. An electric jug was not supplied with any mug or glass as is wity most hotels. I got one from the breakfast area. There weren't any complementary teabags or coffee sachets.
