I loved staying here. Visiting Salzburg was very impromptu so I only booked for one night before moving on to Vienna. I wish I had stayed another night at the very least, and the Guest House was a big reason for this. It’s a stunning place. Huge rooms, a very nice fresh breakfast with, I believe, fresh and local ingredients. A nice chapel which overlooks the church. Very helpful staff with clear instructions as to what to do if you arrive out of hours. Thank you all.
I think having some king of manual as to what is at the Guest House (such as the chapel, some background in to the church, its history etc) would be great. But it’s only because I was so impressed did I want to know more and see what else was available for its residents.

Very nice accommodation. My single room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The location can’t be beat — an easy walk to/from the train station, bus stops, and most of the Salzburg sights. Decent restaurants nearby. No TV but didn’t need one. I was a bit concerned by the provided earplugs but didn’t need them. As a solo female traveler I appreciated that the door to the complex is locked when the office isn’t staffed. Excellent value, especially for Salzburg in December.
There was some discoloration or mildew on the tile in the shower.

Amazing place to stay, right inside a [former?] seminary. Beautiful cloistered courtyard where you can have breakfast outside completely isolated from the bustle beyond the magnificent doors to the city centre. Spacious rooms and the whole place was set up really nicely. Location is fantastic - 2 mins walk to the river one way, 2 mins to Mirabelle the other. About 20 mins to the base of the funicular up to Hohensalzburg. Staying here while an unexpected music festival was on meant we had a great bolt hole to escape the noise. Breakfast was very good too! 'Guest Mobility' ticket for visitors gives free travel on the buses is a very useful bonus.
Just a bit of noise from bars etc in the street below the bedrooms.... but they supplied ear plugs!

The quality of the fixtures and fittings was great whilst being simple and conservative adds to the pleasure of staying here. The building is impressive. Access after hours is an easy process.
The variety of foods served for breakfast was fantastic with savoury salads also available. The quality could be improved given the price eg the cheeses offered. The bread was not freshly baked. Disappointing given the inviting space and absolute cleanliness. It might be just because it was the weekend. There was no disappointment about the variety though and everyone will find enough to really enjoy.

I stayed here in July for a couple of nights. The interior and exterior of the property was good. The place was tidy and clean and of very good size. The kitchen was reasonably equipped. The location was convenient in terms of transport and places of interest. There were a lot of sockets and the switches to turn off all the lights were at the entrance door and near the bed
I would have loved to have a dishwasher in the room. The breakfast had reasonable variety but I thought it was ok. You could hear the sound of bells but it did not bother me.. I also found the attic ceiling annoying.

Room is very spacious, breakfast offered numerous choices and the breakfast area offers inside and outside seating and is cleaned fast, check in and out very smooth, luggage storage is superb-- lots of room and safe and locked--, very clean and safe behind locked doors, and location is great-- easy walk across bridge to old town, several blocks from Mirabella square and numerous public transportation offers. Easy straight walk from train station. No air conditioning and can be very noisy at night with windows open as there are bars and restaurants opposite the windows but the free ear plugs worked and I normally hear every sound! Take soap and washcloth in Europe!
Entrance could be clearer on booking-- you feel like you are entering the church. We walked past twice before we figured it out. Bring your own coffee pods-- they are unique to the European machines unlike America that says" coffee pot in room WITH COFFEE PACKETS" but once you know this it is common all across Europe.

Amazing location, a few steps away from the Mirabell gardens and Mozarts residence. This area is a nice part of town. The staff were helpful and gave some recommendations for a nice walk near the fortress which was lovely. The room was big and spotless. The breakfast was nice and there is a gorgeous courtyard you can sit and eat breakfast in or read a book or just relax. The building is also really beautiful and it was nice to stay in such a lovely building.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable and there was only one pillow. This might be just my preference as I prefer a hard mattress and lots of pillows. There was a little bit of noise from the street in the nighttime but earplugs were provided. These are very minor issues and overall the stay was very very good.

Great location - felt very central and space. Added to the whole Salzburg experience. While the hotel I'd very quiet by nature, be aware there will be some noise from the central spot + ever charming but constantly present bells - I thought it was respectfully done being both a current seminary in part & it's former use - while still having all the mod-cons you'd expect from hotel-style accommodation. Also had great public transport connections to/from the train station + walking distance to key tours etc. Highly recommend.

The property was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Very comfortable! We came with our two small kids and this property exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was good and the location was incredible. Easy to walk everywhere. We drove here and so my husband parked the car about three minutes away from the hotel after we unloaded our stuff across the street. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be staying here again if we return.
A little difficult to find the entrance. It’s best to literally use the street and house number to find it once you’re close to the building. Super easy to miss because there isn’t clear signage.

Room was a hotel room with a crucifix over the bed. Room was spacious with a huge wardrobe. Bathroom clean and a nice size. Breakfast was fabulous, lots of choices for every nationality and dietary leanings. Breakfast rooms were nice and property was comfortable and had a calming effect especailly in the courtyard. Never heard the church bells. Room was probably 20 feet high and made the room feel large. Location was superb as it was across the street from a major bus transpo hub. City extremely walkable. Nice communal kitchen and lounge.
