New bathrooms, good location. Helpful staff member on check in.

Beds could be comfier and the pillows were too floppy. Firmer pillows and divan beds would take this to the next level. We were still happy with our stay though.

Location is perfect, you can walk to the old town in a few minutes. The room is clean and cozy. The staffs are nice and welcoming. You can also find many restaurants and cafés around the area.

The old wooden floor creaks loud when walking. We paid for 3 people but the pillows/blankets were only prepared for 2. When we asked to bring 1 more set, they said yes but it was never delivered :( . Also, please bear in mind when you book this hotel, that there is a church across the street and that the bell rings every hour. I know they cannot change this, but maybe the insulation needs some improvement to reduce the noise coming from the bell.

Perfect location in the center on the pedestrian zone but near the parking garage. Nice small bar on the ground floor.

Beds are too soft. The church bell started to ring from 5:30 morning every 15 minutes.

Situated on a pedestrian street. Easy to find walking from train. About 20 minutes . Breakfast buffet very good. Close to river and old town. Room clean. Our overlooked a patio. #31. Church bells ringing bring a nice ambiance. Plenty of restaurants in area. Recommend Gablerbrau for meal. Spar grocery 2 min walk. If taking 150 bus to Bad Ischel. Hofwirt stop 6 min away for on and off so you don't have to walk back to sudtiroler Platz. Hotel provided loaner umbrellas. A very nice touch. Great little pub in lobby.

Nothing really. A fridge and a smart TV in the room would be nice but it wasn’t essential.

Room was in back annex, which required going through the back and over metal grates in the rain with luggage, and the exterior doors were difficult to open

This was an amazing hotel. Our room was outstanding. We were in the back on the 4th (top) floor. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the view of the cliff and we loved hearing the church bells ringing. The location was perfect. We parked our car and walked everywhere. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and attentive. It rained the entire time and this was still the most magical vacation we’ve had in a long time.

We wish it hadn’t down poured the entire time we were there but we have no complaints about the hotel.

The location of the hotel is ideal! Right in the old town, a short walk from all the sightseeing! The room was very large, almost like an apartment. Our room was overlooking the main street and it was totally silent! We did not choose the option for breakfast, we found it kind of pricey. We saw the breakfast room, and the buffet was poor. The good thing is that you could help yourself to free coffees and teas the whole day!

We were happy with our stay and would go back again!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a lovely old building that retains much character as well as providing well equipped modern rooms. There is a good selection of coffee and teas on the ground floor. My room was at the front, with unlocked windows, so provided lovely views across Linzer Grasse Fast, free WiFi with simple authentication. Friendly service in the attached, reasonably priced bar.

The location is really great, right on the main street for the old town area. Short walking distance to many places in the old town too. The staff was friendly and very helpful; went above and beyond to help me with my room after the first room had Wi-Fi issues. Free coffee for guests downstairs.

Kind of unfortunate that there isn't a 24/7 reception desk. After hours you need to either use your hotel key to get in the front door or go through the connecting bar to get into the hotel. Some rooms don't get good Wi-Fi...if you need good Wi-Fi, be sure to ask for a room with a good signal (the Wi-Fi is good when the signal is strong in the room).
