Great central location. Good public bus connection from main train station. Within walking distances of what I came to see (art museums) & hear (concerts). Helpful pleasant staff. Upscale hotel with a slightly older world flair. Wonderful breakfast buffet: so fresh & appetizing. Very nice bedding & towels. Good light. Lovely views from the room. Traditional family run hotel with updated facilities. Fun to explore the art on the walls in the bar, lobby & hallways.

Great location, although there is a certain amount of street traffic on one side & ventilation hum on the park side.

Location was excellent. Service was excellent. Bellboys were very willing to help with my husband and wheelchair. Liked the toiletries and extra bathroom accessories very much. Night turndown service appreciated but duvets could be opened and made ready.

A disabled toilet needed on ground floor as restrooms were down a long flight of stairs. Stairs up to breakfast room were another obstacle. Breakfast was average. For the price I would have expected better coffee available in the room. It was instant coffee which you find in many 3star hotels. Other hotels that we have stayed in have a nespresso machine. Pods can be recycled.

Perfect location for exploring. As a solo traveller a single room can sometimes be very basic but a single room here was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend it enough, room was spacious, bathroom relaxing after a day exploring, welcome basket an unexpected treat. It felt like a miniature suite for 1 💕 The buffet breakfast in the morning had so much choice and was a perfect start to the day. The bar area was also a welcoming place to sit and relax without feeling out of place being on your own.

If I had to say one, it would be the pillows - quite thin but didn’t matter too much

Old-world charm in an amazing location. We wanted a hotel that had local “flavor,” rather than a super modern hotel, and this property was regal and elegant. Location was amazing, right across the River from the Old Town city center. Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had a good selection and was quite yummy. More importantly, they were very understanding of my son’s peanut allergy, with the super-friendly chef offering to make his food fresh for him. Room amenities were nice; included free water and soda. We loved this place and would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful, smiley and professional. The hotel itself is very charming and elegant in an old-timey, romantic way. Great breakfast selection for everyone who loves protein and fruit for breakfast.

There was no actual shower, just a bathtub with a curtain—showering was not a relaxing experience, and there was water on the floor everytime. The pillows were very flat. The towels were very thin and scratchy.

The Concierge went above and beyond to make us welcome and to ensure that everything was taken care of during our stay, even going as far as arran ginghams to have our bags picked up from the airport as they did not arrive until two later. Anastasia the hostess also deserves a mention for her care and attention.

I only had one discomfort - the Aircon in our suite was in the lounge area and so it did not reach the bedroom.

The rooms are gorgeously decorated, and the location is outstanding -- central to everything but quiet. Excellent breakfast and lounge as well. But was what truly exceptional was the staff. They were so incredibly helpful and attentive, going out of their way to help us, plan activities, make reservations, and tend to our personal needs. Christine, Florian, Chiara, and Rosi were outstanding, and their kindness and hospitality helped make our trip a very memorable one. I would definitely stay there again, just to have such exceptional staff taking care of me.

This hotel was excellent in every way! We could not have asked for a more perfect stay! The staff was excellent and so helpful in every way! Our room was delightful looking out to see the beautiful fortress! Breakfast was amazing and over the top! The location was absolutely perfect and we were able to walk to all of our excursions! This was truly a special spot and we hope to come back soon!

- the location is unbeatable a bridge away from the beautiful narrow streets - staff are professional and understanding - the fridge is cold - the balcony is a plus - bathroom amenities are great - unbelievable history with tremendous guests that visited this hotel

- although we were informed about an extra charge on valet service it’s still unheard of from 5 star hotels - the tv was a little outdated and most of the channels are as you say cable tv - as much as their restaurant looks classy but the truth is I ordered food and it was bland - the smell of food is everywhere except the rooms the rest of the hotel smells like a restaurant - the bed was unbelievably hard that I found differently sleeping soundly on

The hotel is really special and represents an old structure with all its history and chic. The room was very spacious and you get the feeling your sleeping in one of the rooms if a palace. There’s a great lounge for drinks and cocktails and a very talented piano player every night. There’s even a fireplace which we used to warm ourselves during the Boris storm. The staff was very helpful and cordial. Breakfast was also excellent

The bed mattress à wasn’t comfortable and actually I couldn’t sleep well in it.
