We were travelling with our teenage son so the family room was perfect and with a balcony too. The kettle to make a cup of tea and the coffee machine were lovely. The room had air conditioning if needed. The staff were so welcoming. We didn’t have breakfast there but there are cafes a short walk away and the markets on Thursday morning just around the corner were lovely. It was great to walk by the river (we love early morning walks) and take in all the beauty of Salzburg with everything it offers. We also chose this hotel as it is around a 15 minute very easy walk with luggage to the train station 😊

Great room for families - our family of 4 fit into a room with one large bed and a sofa bed. It felt like we had plenty of space and was very comfortable! We had a view out over rooftops to the church steeples and mountains. And I don’t usually comment on bathrooms but this one was huge with a great shower, which was amazing after a lot of traveling. Very nice front desk staff too - they helped us figure out some transportation options that were stumping us. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nothing - it was great!

The staff and location are what makes this hotel my preferred hotel when in Salzburg and the sole reason for booking. They staff are so friendly, especially Sema in the Breakfast restaurant, she actually remembered us from our previous stay about a year ago! It is close to everything and nothing is too much trouble for the staff to organise or provide advice on. They are what makes this hotel special. Will definitely return on my next visit to Salzburg

The bathroom is on the smaller size but for a couple it wasn't a big issue. As with most hotels, there is always limited space to hang towels, if you want to re-use them.

It was my sister and me so we were happy that they were able to give us a room with 2 twin beds instead of a king sized bed. We're much too old to share. Though on the corner of a busy intersection, things quieted down for us to sleep with the windows open. Mirabell Gardens were very close by. We enjoyed the Chinese restaurant down on the street, as well as the bakery across the street. Our last morning we had breakfast in the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was good.

There was only one chair in the room. My sister was comfortable propped up in her bed, so it was okay. It was a comfy chair and nice for reading, so I'm glad we didn't have to argue over it.

Close proximity (walking distance) to the gardens and to old town; cafes and restaurants nearby; helpful reception team and were very kind to make a plan for parking for our group's motorcycles (6) at a reduced fee; standard rooms and comfortable; small bathroom. we took breakfast out in nearby cafes as the hotel offering didnt look vvery exciting and expensive.

Beds were narrow (even the double bed); no hanging hooks for jackets, towels, etc.

Reception staff were all very friendly, the guy who assisted with our check-in went the extra mile to introduce the area and point out attractions on the map. Breakfast was in a nice cosy restaurant and the staff were very attentive as well. The room was nice and cosy. Location was great as well, walkable to tourist spots.

Breakfast spread was a little limited but the quality of food was good. There was limited toiletries and the shampoo/body soap was a 3-in-1 which most females might not like. Slanted roof/ceiling in the room hence have to be careful not to hit your head.

Location was outstanding... Just a walk from almost all things to do at Salzburg. Clean and tidy property with decent rooms Incredibly patient and helpful staff. They are almost your tour guides and tell you all you can and cannot do in the tome you have at hand. They're also helpful with your dietary restrictions

There seems to be no separate Kitchen. Food for breakfast comes from outside through a caterer. The catering lady though, is incredibly sweet and helpful and tries to adjust and accommodate to the best possible ability

The hotel is in an excellent location being ten minutes from the Old Town on the other side of the river via the footbridge and yet in the centre of things. It is situated on very busy streets by a major bus/trolly bus stop. Check in was a bit long-winded but the reception team were super friendly and later turned out to be mega helpful. Our bedroom was generously sized with a huge shower room - modern and expensively fitted out. Although we were on the second floor facing the main street the room was quiet with air conditioning. The buffet style Breakfast was excellent with just about anything you could want from smoked salmon and trout to Bavarian sausages as well as eggs, bacon,ham, cheese, salamis, fruit, different types of yogurts, fruit juices including tomato juice and delicious fresh baked bread. If the buffet was not for you there was also omelettes and any type of eggs cooked to order. The reception team, and Julia in particular made the stay. They managed to get us a table at the Sky Bar to eat at 7:30 - we asked at 4:40 - a friend we met the next day said he had tried to book many times without success. Due to the terrible weather during our stay they were really helpful with suggestions.

Not quite enough light to read with on the bed - we always had to have the main chandelier lit to read. There is just a tiny lounge next to reception, no bar and no dinner restaurant although as said they will direct you to other Imlaur establishments nearby.

Very nice boutique hotel! I had a great comfy night of sleep. There is a bath tub in my room and I soaked in it before sleeping! Staff was amazing :) I’ll definitely recommend it.

It was in the center; I just wish that there are good restaurants onsite/ in the hotel but still just walking distance to good restaurants around. Parking has 50% off in the garage next door but during the day was a long wait getting in. But still very good experience, that didn’t ruin it.

The service at Hotel am Mirabellplatz is amazing. Staff was very responsive to each question I raised before arrival via Booking.com. When I arrived they gave a lot of amazing tips on how to plan my walk to city, how to go to Hellbrunn palace, Hallstatt and many other tips. I used their breakfast last day but if I knew that they had amazing selection of cheese, eggs, omelette upon request, fresh juices and champagne (yes there was an open bottle to pour a glass for yourself) i would ear every day. Overall, I had a good time , location was superb to explore city, go to airport, Hallstatt, central station. Highly recommend it

N/A room furniture is a bit outdated but it wasn’t a problem
