Location was excellent for our visit and it was so close to the beautiful town. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel felt very well decorated and fresh - very peaceful and calm. The breakfast was tasty but quite pricey for us to have every day as we stayed for 5 days - perhaps there could have been a reduced rate for the more days you were there?

One of the days they didn’t clean our room. The mini bar could have included alcohol free beer as my husband is allergic to alcohol but enjoys alcohol free - we don’t drink fizzy drinks. But this is so minor and did not in any way stop our enjoyment of this lovely hotel.

Lovely, exceptionally clean, comfortable hotel in just a short walk to the old town. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to suit everyone and even a chef to prepare omelette etc All staff welcoming and helpful. Free mini bar a bonus. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was also excellent despite the unusual way the menu is presented. Just ask it to be explained. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Explanation of how to request servicing of the room, information of which is probably included in the QR code that you can scan which we overlooked! The problem was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Beautiful hotel in a historic building. Smooth check in and Christian was lovely as well as the concierge gentleman who helped us find a table at an Austrian restaurant last minute for a busy Saturday evening in the city. The room was very spacious and super clean. The complementary bar was a nice touch. We had access to the executive lounge which was great and offers convenient facilities including drinks and snacks. Breakfast was very good and I’m very fussy about hotel breakfast, all approved.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night and although the food was good, the restaurant was clearly understaffed and we were served by a very nice South Asia alike guy who was almost running up and down and doing lots of things at the same time, we felt sorry for him and wonder why the hotel would put their staff under these circumstances, it seems not fair at all. In addition, we would recommend a slight improvement for the housekeeping services as the hand wash and body wash containers were almost empty and we only noticed when we went into the shower. But we reported it to reception and it was immediately sorted.

1- Lack of reception staff and only one receptionist when I arrived. 2- The reception staff not answering the phone due to the presence of only one employee. 3- There is only one elevator. 4- The parking is very small and can accommodate only 9 cars.

We like the morning receptionist on the 8th and the evening receptionist.

First of all, we have to say that regarding the small charges we had to pay upon arrival, we thought the hotel had already included all the charges for entry and room charges in the price we had paid before but when we arrived at the hotel we had to pay a small additional charge and that made us talk amongst ourselves about how good it was. We wanted to say that we had no problem paying for other charges but you did not inform us in advance and also the parking, we read that we did not have to pay if we parked at the hotel but when the day came we had to pay for parking, this was not okay. But overall everything is very good.

The hotel was immaculate. Very modern with beautiful decor. Our room was thoughtfully designed with an huge bed (extremely comfortable) and little low level lights that came on if you got up in the night, small box of chocolates and a coffee machine with Nespresso pods - lovely little touches like that made it feel extremely luxurious. We had some brilliant advice from Deiter at the concierge. He was so kind, knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with a huge selection of cooked, cold meat, cheeses, fresh fruit and pastries, all exceptional quality! The location was perfect too, just a stroll from the park where Sound of Music was filmed and not in tourist central so it was easy to find some low key, local eateries. We especially loved Coquette, a little wine bar just a three minute’s walk from the hotel. The owner spoke brilliant English and was so hospitable. We especially loved her very own label Austrian ‘Coquette’ white wine, definitely worth a try. And they made stunning meat and cheese platters which we shared instead of having a full meal in a restaurant. It was full of locals too and was positively buzzing! We would stay at the Hyperion again in a heartbeat, one of the nicest hotels in a gorgeous city.

Our experience at this hotel was truly excellent! We were very pleased to receive our room earlier than expected, which made our day much easier. The room was beautiful and spacious. As a bonus, we received a sweet gift from the hotel upon arrival, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as was the gentleman who assisted us with our luggage. The only small note would be for the older gentleman, likely the concierge standing near the reception, to be a bit more cheerful. However, this was just a minor detail that didn’t affect our overall impression. The hotel offers great services and lovely rooms. We especially thank the entire staff for making our anniversary even more special and turning our stay into an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this hotel and give it a 10 out of 10! Once again, thank you for the warm welcome and for the early check-in.

I booked this hotel to stay in for an engagement proposal trip. The staff were very quick to reply to emails before my trip which was good for questions I had. The hotel was very modern and clean. Hotel staff were very nice and organised rose petals, towel animals and a sweet treat for after our proposal trip which was very nice.Reception and concierge staff were very friendly and informative regarding restaurants and day trip ideas.

The breakfast selection wasn’t varied as other 5 star hotels we had experienced ie not extensive yoghurts and not extensive english breakfast selection. The plates were small. One day we missed the cleaning of the room so we went to reception to request a clean, after being out for the day it had still not been cleaned with no fresh towels and the minibar was not restocked. We also found one of the cleaning staff rude and abrupt. We also would have liked milk in the room and not coffee creamer and larger cups.
