I’ve had the privilege of staying at countless hotels across the globe, but my recent experience at this hotel truly stands apart as the best. What made it extraordinary was not just the exceptional facilities, but the unmatched warmth and professionalism of Mr. Juan Torres the front desk assistant manager. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Juan went above and beyond to ensure our one-day stay was nothing short of magical. His attention to detail, genuine kindness, and unparalleled ability to anticipate our needs transformed our visit into a memory we will cherish forever. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work and does it with such grace and care. Mr.Juan is a true credit to this hotel, and his service was a defining element of what made this the most memorable hotel experience of my life. Also ,During our visit to the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, we had the privilege of being served by a truly outstanding young waiter whose professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression on us. From the moment we sat down, his attentiveness, warm demeanor, and genuine passion for hospitality were evident. He not only made excellent recommendations but also took the time to ensure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated to creating a memorable evening, and he did just that with ease and grace. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our meal so special. Your effort didn’t go unnoticed, and it elevated an already stunning setting to something truly unforgettable. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Imlauer and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. Despite our busy work schedule that didn’t allow for breakfast, we managed to dine twice at the Skybar, and it was a delightful experience each time. The staff across the board were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and kind. Their consistent willingness to assist and their warm demeanor truly stood out. The Imlauer is in a fantastic location, which added to our convenience. The service provided was top-notch, and the overall quality of the hotel is impeccable. I highly recommend the Imlauer for its excellent service, prime location, and the overall wonderful experience it offers. There was absolutely no disappointment at all.

We had a wonderful week at the Imlauer Pitter. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, with room service and Netflix available. We really appreciated being able to lie in and take the A La Carte breakfast option. We also had dinner at the Sky Bar for several nights and the food was fantastic. We struggled to find a restaurant in Salzburg which matched this quality. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing, high quality stay.

The only negative we could give is that the hotel was very hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work (possibly turned off for winter?). We opened the window in our room during the day but the noise from the traffic outside was very loud. So at night we had to chose between being it being too hot or too noisy. But that was a minor problem compared to all the excellent points about the hotel.

The room was a good size. The Breakfast was good. The location a little out of town.

The Room we were given by this Hotel. It was not what we ordered. The Room looked into the back of the Hotel and Apartments. We did not come all the way from New Zealand to look at that view. Found the staff not that pleasant to deal with. They did send as a fruit platter to our room - But that is not a view. The Restaurant on the premises was only for Asian Bus Tours and they did not care re Hotel guests. The food was terrible. Would not stay again next year. Extremely disappointing stay.

We are travelling a lot and we are always searching for top accommodations this did not disappoint. The location was very good, it was clean and the facilities were great. The breakfast was also very good, a lot good quality products. The hotel restaurant was top, we celebrated the beginning of our honeymoon and my husband’s birthday and they took good care of us, offering us a cake to blow the candles. Not last, our direct host, Clemens was very very nice. He upgraded our room due to our honeymoon and also sent us two cakes as a present. He was very very involved with our needs and we really felt very good. We appreciate everything and we will recomand this accommodation! 🤍

Our stay at the Imlauer Hotel Pitter Salzburg was fantastic! From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel itself is modern and beautifully designed, with clean and comfortable rooms that had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for exploring Salzburg, as it’s within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet still in a peaceful area. One highlight was the exceptional staff—everyone we interacted with was friendly and eager to help. They provided us with great recommendations and were quick to assist with any requests. The breakfast was also a delight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Overall, the Imlauer Hotel Salzburg exceeded our expectations and made our Salzburg visit truly memorable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city and look forward to staying here again!

The staff, particularly Clemens went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. He was friendly, efficient and very helpful. We loved our stay so much that we booked another Imlauer hotel in Vienna and when I told Clemens he emailed them to make sure we got a nice room. The room was spacious with a view of the courtyard, it was comfortable and very quiet with a nice bathroom. Location was perfect being a short stroll from the train station in one direction and Old Town centre in the other. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant was outstanding.

Nothing at all

We were very pleased that we chose this hotel for our stay. The hotel is situated close to the old city of Salzburg, and it only takes a 10-15 minute walk to reach the center in pleasant surroundings. We were greeted by an attentive reception team, and a hotel employee was very helpful in assisting us with our luggage from the car to our room. The employees at the hotel are, in general, very professional, attentive, and friendly, which we greatly appreciated as it’s important to us. The room was very spacious, consisting of two separate rooms, which was a pleasant surprise. We were also very pleased with the variety of dishes at breakfast, including a good range of organic products. It was great that we could order any omelette we liked every day, and there was always a special dish of the day. We were especially pleased with the tasty porridge and pancakes. The breakfast at this hotel is one of our favorite experiences, and we travel a lot. We also dined at the hotel’s restaurants and enjoyed both. We decided to eat there twice and really liked the traditional meals and desserts. The hotel has a very pleasant vibe. We would like to thank the attentive and friendly reception team once more for the surprise fruit plate for our anniversary. It was a very sweet gesture. We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Salzburg again

We liked everything

The location is excellent for exploring the highlights of Salzburg. It's also close to the train station so you can easily plan a day trip ( We visited Munich). The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good but more made to order options are always nice to have. We only saw the made to order omlette station.

There was a slight issue with the hairdryer in our room. It would only work for a few seconds at a time before overheating and stopping and at times the amount of ventilation in the room seemed inadequate. Even when opening the window the moisture from the bathroom would linger in the room.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They could not do enough, and that included restaurant staff, receptionists, porters, cleaners etc. We were given complimentary chocolates and a free glass of champagne, which we did not expect. The suite was incredibly spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. We arrived early and whilst waiting for our rooms to be made up, we enjoyed breakfast at the sky bar, it was beautiful and excellent value for money. We enjoyed a traditional Austrian dinner at the restaurant downstairs in the evening, which was lovely. I cannot understand how it is only a four star hotel. It definitely deserves a Five star rating. I would not hesitate to book again when visiting Salzburg!!

Nothing could have been any better. We did not want to leave. It was truly exceptional!
