The location is amazing, you can walk to the Mirabell or the train station in 10 minutes. Every night they play the film the sound of music In the common room. And they offer free coffee/milk/cereals in the morning. My point is the staff is so helpful!!!My iPhone charger was broken and I arrived so late at the Ester night, he helped me to charge it for a while and drew me a map told me where I can bought a new charger at night and recommended me a restaurant (which is soooo delicious!). Next time when I visit Salzburg I’d love to choose yoho again!

Maybe you can add a curtain for each bed? Cause the bedlamp is so bright, when someone turn it you can hardly sleep.

It's a big hostel, but it doesn't feel like it. It always felt like a very social hostel, so it was easy to meet people. The staff were really lovely, and that made it so easy to stay. Location is perfect. A short walk to the station and a short walk to the old town.

The only thing thing I didn't like is there are only microwaves in the kitchen, so two weeks without cooking got expensive. You might also want an eye mask if night lights bother you!

The location is perfect, far enough away from the city that you get some quality quiet but close enough to walk to without any issues. everything was as expected, very clean and tidy and comfortable. amazing for the price and we felt very safe and welcomed. also the house red wine at the bar is exceptionally good.

The only thing that would have helped would be some privacy curtains on the beds, mostly just to block out the light. the personal reading lights on each bed are extremely bright so if your roommates are coming back later and switching lights on it is very bright and will wake you up.

It's very close to the train station and walkable to the major tourist sites such as Mozart's house, Christmas market, and most Sound of Music filming spots. The building itself is aged, but the amenities are quite new. There's a TV room and they arrange movie night very often.

I didn't like that the entrance to men's and women's toilets are shared, it's very weird and awkward. Another downside is that if you stay in the upper bunk, the ladder is very uncomfortable to step on, and it's unstable.

Great, safe location.

Did not anticipate having to pay for the use of towels.

It had everything I needed, a really good location close to the train station. It offers a free ticket for all kinds of transportation so before booking any tickets to day trips outside the city, check if the bus you want is covered by this ticket. (For example I went to Hallstatt and the bus to Bad Ischl was for free and I didn't know about that🫤) Also, they offer you a free drink, there is a movie every night you can watch, a free walking tour (amazing experience) and many information about events and day trips.

It could have some more toilets and showers, because I had to wait for a while sometimes.

Multiple shower rooms, great water pressure, very clean once they are clean... somone in.reception should tell their gursts to remove the hair from the drain. The breakfast was convenient so it was worth the 8 euros for me. If I was staying for a week, I would have stocked up on food items. Receotion gave me a local beer garden, great food, bit service is slow.

No AC! Thankfully, there werw two big windows that I opened wide when no one was there and keep the dorm door open to get cross ventilation. Once my roomies werw returning, I closed the door. It helpes that a huge thunderstorm.came and it.lower the temps beautifully. We only get one fan for the entire.room.of.six.people. I packed a.portable.fan with me.

Easy to find due to central location; conveniently planned main rooms and shared spaces in the ground floor + enough place to hang out with other hostel mates; comfy beds; Doors are being opened via card, not a key. It goes faster; No extra pay for the lockers - sweet!

Hostel stuff upon arrival didn't have time ir didn't bother to explain the basics of the hostel (e.g. when does the bar open, when the breakfast is being served etc.), so one need to figure out everything by themselves; The kitchen often didn't have any cutlery, towels or plates; Not enough sinks to wash your face or brush your teeth: there is one in each room (in my case we were 6 people), two in the toilets, otherwise there are only showers.

We had booked a Double Room at this hostel which was quite spacious, beds were comfortable and bathroom was decent. The Hostel has a common area with TV, common kitchen and 24 hours reception which was very helpful to get any useful information. Tea & Coffee could be taken anytime which was complimentary with the stay. They also gave us the Mobility card for all the 3 days of our stay here which could be used in all public transports within Salzburg without any additional charge. We were also given free Apple strudel shots. Breakfast could be purchased for 8 Euros which was quite decent. The location of the hostel is really great with city center at a walkable distance and station is also nearby. The neighborhood is really nice and safe with lot of restaurants nearby.

The Price was a bit high for the Room so we didn't feel value for money. Had the price been a bit less then it would really be a nice budget friendly option.

Lots of space and a little of everything you need, including kitchen, places to socialize, well-kept restrooms and lockers, comforts in the room like reading lights and outlets, friendly staff. Location wasn't too far from central attractions and easy walk to the train and bus station

One small thing that can make a big difference in dorm rooms - please consider putting curtains on each bed!
