The location is amazing, you can walk to the Mirabell or the train station in 10 minutes. Every night they play the film the sound of music In the common room. And they offer free coffee/milk/cereals in the morning. My point is the staff is so helpful!!!My iPhone charger was broken and I arrived so late at the Ester night, he helped me to charge it for a while and drew me a map told me where I can bought a new charger at night and recommended me a restaurant (which is soooo delicious!). Next time when I visit Salzburg I’d love to choose yoho again!

Maybe you can add a curtain for each bed? Cause the bedlamp is so bright, when someone turn it you can hardly sleep.

It's a big hostel, but it doesn't feel like it. It always felt like a very social hostel, so it was easy to meet people. The staff were really lovely, and that made it so easy to stay. Location is perfect. A short walk to the station and a short walk to the old town.

The only thing thing I didn't like is there are only microwaves in the kitchen, so two weeks without cooking got expensive. You might also want an eye mask if night lights bother you!

The location is perfect, far enough away from the city that you get some quality quiet but close enough to walk to without any issues. everything was as expected, very clean and tidy and comfortable. amazing for the price and we felt very safe and welcomed. also the house red wine at the bar is exceptionally good.

The only thing that would have helped would be some privacy curtains on the beds, mostly just to block out the light. the personal reading lights on each bed are extremely bright so if your roommates are coming back later and switching lights on it is very bright and will wake you up.

It's very close to the train station and walkable to the major tourist sites such as Mozart's house, Christmas market, and most Sound of Music filming spots. The building itself is aged, but the amenities are quite new. There's a TV room and they arrange movie night very often.

I didn't like that the entrance to men's and women's toilets are shared, it's very weird and awkward. Another downside is that if you stay in the upper bunk, the ladder is very uncomfortable to step on, and it's unstable.

Great, safe location.

Did not anticipate having to pay for the use of towels.

Lots of space and a little of everything you need, including kitchen, places to socialize, well-kept restrooms and lockers, comforts in the room like reading lights and outlets, friendly staff. Location wasn't too far from central attractions and easy walk to the train and bus station

One small thing that can make a big difference in dorm rooms - please consider putting curtains on each bed!

The location was good because you walked to the Central Railway station within 10 minutes and could walk to the city center within short period of time.

The days I was staying in the hostel were rainy days. One day, I put my umbrella at the front door to dry my umbrella as the other people did when I came back after a city walk. But an hour later, I found my umbrella missing. When I asked the help from the staff at the counter who said that she allowed one guy to pick any one umbrella at the front door for use by keeping a five Euro as a deposit at the counter. She believed that the guy would return my umbrella after use. Unfortunately, my umbrella had never been returned to the counter until the next morning when I needed to check out. I was forced to pick out another umbrella as a replacment. I was so disappointed that the hostel staff allowed the guest to take away the property of the other guest.

The keycard works as key to the personal locker (which is very big) and the door. It is very convenient. Shared showers were nice, hot water, compact but with separation for privacy. Location is convenient, 20 min walking from the center. Tranquil place, good to sleep. Tea avaliable for free and the time.

There is individual light in the room, but they are very strong and the top one (bunk bed) leaks to below. The individual plug is those upside down, which is not great to use adaptor. I couldn't manage to use mine (kept falling), so I used to ones avaliable in the wall for common use in the room.

It is a very cozy location with nice staff. I had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were a good size for a mixed dorm and the beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was big and had plenty of space in the fridge for guests to keep their food in. Lot's of kitchenware available to use. It is a short walk to the city centre and sights such as Mirabell gardens. They show the sound of music movie every night in the common room at 8pm and has for years which I think is a nice Salzburg touch. There is also a nice bar with great happy hour prices!

The showers were clean but I found that the toilets on the floor I was staying on weren't the cleanest.

Convenient location.

I got the top floor where the ceiling is slanted because of the roof. I hit my head more times than I remember. Please at least put some warning signs there. Thats a law suit waiting to happen. Also, at the Sound of Music tv room. I think people need to be reminded that there are also other people there trying to watch the movie. The second night I was there, a group of Asian girls literally cook a HOTPOT and the smell filled the room. I had to walk over them and open the window (it was cold on Christmas Eve). Absolutely bothering everyone sitting and watching Sound of Music.
