The breakfast room was superb, right down to the teapots which I have not seen in hotels before. Breakfast room staff were excellent and attentive. The reception staff, and there was a lot of them, were very good answering our questions and booking tours. The barman Fred was a delight, my wife can not drink alcohol. Fred made her drinks for every night of our 11 day stay. Looking forward to our next stay in a Dorint hotel.

We arrived at 14. 30 and our room was not ready. Checkin was at 15.00 our room was ready at 15.30. I have never had to wait at other hotels arriving 30 minutes early. No doctor attached to the hotel.

Breakfast was superb with great location and excellent selection of all we could hope for. It included health options such as fruit, whole cereal bread, Bircher musli….Staff was very friendly and efficient! We loved the arrangement of your lights in the reception hall / bar and that you offered art work / paintings from locals for sale (we would have loved to purchase a particular piece but unfortunately it would be very difficult to take it / send it home to New Zealand without damaging it.

Once one coffee machine broke down there were queues / Schlangen, in particular when tour / bus groups showed up.

One of our fav stays across our entire Europe trip! It was my husband’s birthday and they prepared some beers + a fruit platter for us which was nice. Our corner room on the top floor was huge, though I’m unsure if this was given by coincidence or as an additional treat in line with my husband’s birthday. Regardless, the room was very clean with a modern bathroom, bed was super comfortable as well. Staff were mostly helpful and friendly - especially the receptionist we had at check in (im so sorry i didn’t catch your name!). The hotel was also within a 15 min walk to the train station which was convenient if you’re coming by train and don’t want to use the bus/get a Bolt.

A slight walk away from the old town (about 20-25 mins), but still perfectly walkable even in the blistering cold.

the staff at the front desk were very nicel the rooms were quite comfortable and spacious. if we didn't want the full breakfast there was a grab and go option for 5 euro. the full breakfast was wonderful! there was a diverse offering and in the states I never want the eggs because they are so liquidy, here they were wonderful! we walked everywhere very walkable city, although it says it's a 20 min walk, trust me, stroll the streets!

I think the only thing I was bothered by was there is no shuttle service from the bus station or even a suggestion on how to more easily navigate luggage thru the city.

The room was very big, was exactly I was looking for since we came with our 1 year old child, they provided free crib and they were very nice and let us 2 more hours for checkout as our baby could sleep in the room before going to the airport, we appreciated that. The location is very good, 15 min walk from city center, the bus station 1 min walk. The guy from the bar very nice also the cleaning ladies very amable waited us for the baby to wake up. The bed was very comfortable and big.

We didn't have slippers in the room but no big deal since it was carpet on the floor. Also even of the window was big, we could open just a small part of it and maybe needed one more window to open, but didn't bother us so much.

Our stay in this accommodation was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal – peaceful and relaxing, yet within walking distance of all the main attractions. We especially appreciated the convenience of having a grocery store that’s open even on Sundays right next to the hotel. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had a seamless and enjoyable experience.

If we had to suggest anything, it would be to add Netflix or other streaming options to the TV, or perhaps provide programs in languages other than German. But overall, everything was wonderful, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salzburg!

Staff were super helpful and friendly, its not hard to find and only a 10minute walk from the main train and bus station. Breakfast options were great and if your interested you can get a salzburg card from the reception area, this covers some public transport and attractions, it is worth it even if you visit two attractions.

It was pretty warm and there is no option for Air con, we were told that as they head into the colder months the AC is turned off for the entire hotel? We had to sleep with the window open, but this was also very small so very limited air flow.

It's not the best hotel i stayed in Austria at this price however all the hotels in Salzburg are quite expensive. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The walking distance to the old town is about 15-20 minutes, but we didn't bother cause everything was pretty to look at. Also, it is relatively close to the Salzburg Centeal station.

Is right next to a gas station, which is quite busy, which might bother you. We didn't stay much in our room, so it didn't bother us.

Bus no. 2 from the main train station stops right outside the hotel which is convenient even for Asian travelers with bulky luggages like me. Tho the room I booked was not the lately renovated one, the condition was fair and reasonable.

The green option is good but if you use the tablet in the room to confirm your choice, you don't get the free drink voucher. I told the staff member at the reception in person one day that I needed no room cleaning, only then I knew I could get a voucher. I wish I could get the voucher even using the app to opt for no room cleaning.

Really nice place, close to public transportation. The breakfast had a wide variety. The staff members are helpful. Moreover, my window looked at a mountain. I arrived early, also, after check-out, I spent time in Salzburg. On both occasions, I could have left my luggages at the reception. No extra fees. I liked the design of my room. The carpet was purple with light yellow music notes. Yeah, it HAS a strong design.

Well, I guess, the closet space was not too big. However, I spent there only two nights, and travelled alone, therefore, I did not use even that limited space.
