A decent small and cozy hotel a bit outside of the city center, but still at a walking distance (15 minutes). The room had enough size, included required amenities, though a fan, not an A/C (I know, this is Austria). The breakfast had a decent of choice, tasty coffee, there were always enough tables whenever we came. We also liked the stuff which was very friendly and ready to help. Almost all amenities were in a good shape. So, a very decent hotel for 3 stars and it earns them.

The fan was loud. Also, the curtains didn't protect from the sunlight, so we had to use sleep masks. The breakfast wasn't that tasty for some reason, though some things we liked, such as cheese.

Everything was great, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The accommodation was quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed our stay there. Recommended if you don't like to stay among the crowds of tourists, but close enough to be able to walk to the center and all the points of interest. Also they provide free public transportation QR-tickets

the breakfast could have been cheaper - we didn't want to pay so much, we don't eat much and it's just unreasonable for us. I understand though that for people who eat a lot for breakfast it worth it

The staffs are all friendly. Breakfast is perfect. The location is very nice. Restaurants are everywhere in the vicinity. Carat Boutique Hotel is near to the subway station and other means of transportation, just ten minutes walk to St. Stephen's cathedral as well as to the Synagogue. About 15 tp 20 minutes walk to the Danube river. There is a safe underground parking area. W e will definitely come back to this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel at home, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and provided a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The location was perfect, just a short and pleasant walk to the city center, making it easy to explore local attractions, restaurants, and shops. We also appreciated the inexpensive parking, which made travelling by car hassle-free. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, it’s a fantastic choice, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The reception lady is so considerate and thoughtful ! She gave us a map and clear directions about the tourist spots. What I appreciate the most is that she told us every tourist in Salzburg could get free bus tickets if they stay in local hotels. In contrast, our previous host said nothing about it although we stayed there for five days. Additionally, the location is good and we can take bus 150 to the lakes. We will come back to the hotel again.

It will be better if they have an elevator because our luggage is really heavy…

Hotel is well kept. The receptionists were nice and spoke English. Breakfast was nice. Hotel is a bit far away from some of the attractions but the bus stop is only a 2 minute walk away. Our room had a pretty nice view of the mountains but I think our room probably had the best view by far

The shower is on the small side. It didn't really bother me but I could see other people not liking it. I bumped my elbows a few times. Also, there is no fridge in the room to put drinks or anything in. They never claimed that there was one but just be aware of that.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the bus stop and about 15 minutes on foot to the main sights. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, with a very cozy bed that made for a great night's sleep. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. A lovely bonus was the complimentary bus pass provided for the entire duration of my stay, such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that made getting around even easier!

Location is great, only 10 min from old city center. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. They also have a parking lot where you can leave the car after check out as well

During hot summer days the room temperature was unbearable without AC. They only provide a stand fan but ours had a broken wing and couldn’t be used too much because of the awful loud noise it made and was also inefficient. The breakfast is basic and not worth 20€ per person.

The location is conveniently accessible by both driving and public transport, although parking comes with an additional cost. All staff members are extremely friendly. We were accommodated on the first floor, and Thomas was particularly kind, assisting us with our luggage during both check-in and check-out. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh offerings. Our room was spacious, comfortable for three people, and appeared to be newly furnished, mainly the Bed - is just right and comfortable. The bathroom was large enough, and the surroundings were beautiful, with the town being just a short and pleasant walk away. The hotel was impeccably clean throughout. We would gladly stay again if given the opportunity to return to Salzburg

One small suggestion that could enhance the experience for future guests is adjusting the water pressure slightly higher for the shower. Everything else during our stay was perfect, and this minor adjustment would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Nevertheless, this didn't detract from our overall love for staying at your place. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Ganslhof for a week. All the staff were so friendly. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, ingredients were regularly topped up and it was very tasty. Although it is not in the centre of town it is an easy walk in or there are good public transport links close by We will definitely return on our next trip to Salzburg.
