The location was great, it was right next to a mountain site and yet very close to a bigger road. You could barely hear the other guests. The service, especially the front desk, was very sweet and nice! Even with public transport you were in the inner city in less than 10 minutes. There is also a few stores closeby, where you can get normal groceries easily.

Some of the nearby restaurants have a rather limited or quite similar menu to other restaurants in the area of the same "type" of cuisine.

Not very close to the station and the center, but if you are by car, no problem (and there is a place to park it). Great room, modern A/C with flexible control. Hint: you can open the bathroom door, then the cold air will not blow directly on you and you can leave the air conditioning running all night. Nice and quiet inner garden and excellent breakfast (having breakfast there was a special treat!). We arrived later than reception was open so were given instructions on how to get our room cards. The hotel also has a cozy lobby and a self-service bar.

I can't find anything to complain about. Except that the water from the shower stall leaks on the floor, but this happens almost always.

Room was good - beds super comfy, room clean, shower was great, air conditioning. Didn’t hear any noise from other guests or doors etc. Slept really well during our stay. Location was great - a short walk into the city centre. Breakfast was available - continental with a great choice and staff very attentive. We did the Sound of Music bus tour and really enjoyed it.

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. There was a coffee machine in the lobby and tea bags etc that you could have any time during the day or night - but no milk was supplied so ok if you like expresso coffee or fruit tea. I was desperate for cup of English tea!

Really nice, clean small hotel in a quiet street, although in close proximity of a larger road. We didn't hear any of our neighbours or the street at all. I can see why some reviewers said that the sidewalk is high and you have to be careful when getting into the parking lot but we were lucky to get a good spot behind the lower part. The price for parking is totally fine for Salzburg, it costs the same anywhere in the city's parking garages for a day. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing worth complaining about.

For 10 days, we had been visiting friends in Bavaria before we arrived in Austria. This hotel and accommodation was by far the best we had stayed in. From the first, the warm welcome we received, been given a map as well as showing us to our room, we thought were things that weren't done by hotels anymore. The room was lovely and big, clean and modern as well as a lovely big bathroom, it was also exceptionally quiet. It was also in our 2 week tour, the first time our room was cleaned daily and our bed was made, a very lovely experience! The reception and cleaning staff couldn't have been more attentive! We will stay again!

A very minor issue-A very weak WiFi internet signal.

Loved the location! It was a quiet street near public transportation. The reservation came with a bus pass, an added bonus. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was good. I especially loved the coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely sitting room off the dining room-a good place to read a book with a cup of tea.

I have nothing bad to say. I wish we could have stayed longer. Salzburg is a wonder City!

My room was very spacious even though I had a double bed, I had plenty of space, including a desk area and a comfortable easy chair. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The self service Breakfast was very good and with a nice view of the garden area. There was also a relaxing lounge area with coffee and tea facility. The retro items around the lounge area were excellent with amazing design features.

I would have preferred a hotel closer to the old town and there was a fair walk to the bus station.

A nice property overall. Room was spacious and clean. We were fortunate to have the only balcony, (room 111) which we used a few times (not for smoking). Nice little courtyard and reading lounge. We were able to use the kettle to make tea and Nescafe coffee (our own).We did not take breakfast but the room looked quite nice.

The bed was quite firm. I found it hard on my 60+ year old hips. The wife didn't like the pillows. Owners and staff could use a bit of cheer.

This is a lovely hotel with nicely sized rooms. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was very helpful and kind! I wish I'd gotten her name to share it here, she made a very good impression. It's a walk to the main areas but we liked it, and we walked up to the fortress as well as all over town. The hotel is very clean and we enjoyed free coffee in the garden. Very lovely stay and would definitely go back!

Handy location for getting to town, the walk is about 30 min to the centre. But along nice pedestrianised street with shops and restaurants for most of it. And not too far from the train station. Was a good price compared to others in Salzburg when we were looking. Close to two supermarkets.

Wifi doesn’t work in the room. Drops out all the time and we couldn’t use it. No kettle in the room. Would be so good to have a kettle and cups, and tea and coffee. Also no fridge in the room. Not a lot of cafes close by to get a coffee or breakfast in the morning.
