Loved the mini croissants and chocolates. The staff was super nice and helpful too! We liked that you also don’t change bedding/towels unless asked as it can be very wasteful.

No parking at hotel, but I think that’s just life and there’s no way to change that. Noticed that there was the sound of someone dragging furniture across the floor every day. Wasn’t sure what furniture it could be as none of it moved and the office chair had wheels so it didn’t drag. We also noticed our door would shake a little every time someone in the room next to ours opened/closed their doors. We’re heavy sleepers so we didn’t mind but I could definitely see how the noise from that could make for a restless night for someone else.

Loved the location. 15 mins walk to the city and easy walking to the bus and train station. Lovely greeting when we arrived. Room was spotless and had everything we needed for a short stay.

Hotel doesn’t do breakfast but we were aware of that when we booked.

The hotel has a lot of potential but is still missing some things. It looks good but is somewhat flawed. It’s newly renovated, comfy bed, really nice bathroom. Fridge in the room for the guests to use and a safety box. Big Tv but it’s not possible to connect to netflix or change language to english on channels who do offer that - looks like they turned that feature off. Mostly clean but not under the bed.

The AC was not working the first night. We let them know in the morning and it got fixed, for one day. Broke again and we didn’t have it the third night. So, working AC for one out of three nights. Two staff member were really nice and helpful (the new girl and the blond guy working the later shift). The girl that checked us out in the morning of July 17th didn’t seem to care really much for her job, maybe she should not be in hospitality.

Rooms very clean and comfortable, good location. The young man on reception was very friendly and polite. Little self serve coffee are was great, with sweets and biscuits.

The hairdryer didn't work, reported on the first night of our 3 night stay, when reported the woman on reception looked annoyed, no apology for the inconvenience. I had to ask if I could use a hairdryer in another room as she didn't seem bothered or offer solution herself. There was no attempt to repair the hairdryer for us or offer an alternative. This was the only issue we had, other than that, very nice place.

Very comfortable room and a very modern design. Great view from the room of the mountains. Very nice bathroom with an amazing shower.

Firstly when arriving at the room our bathroom stunk of cannabis/tobacco. We noticed a sign saying these activities in the room would cause a €500 fine. I went straight back to reception to highlight this wasn't from ourselves. The smell didnt bother us to much and was gone by the end of the first day but I could see how this would disappoint other travellers. Location is nice but a bit of a walk to get to anything. This was not a quiet hotel, we were woken up multiple times between 3-5am due to drunk girls screeching and laughing in and around the hotel.

We had a pleasant experience at PLAZA INN Salzburg City. The room was compact but clean and comfortable, with a large bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, letting us check in early without any hassle. The location is very convenient—about a 10-minute walk from the main train station and just minutes from Mirabell Palace and its gardens. At the time of our stay, there were renovation works on the building’s exterior, which might cause some morning noise, but it didn’t disturb us. Overall, a solid choice for a short city stay with helpful service and a central location.

The room was nice, freshly upgraded and clean. The street is a very busy one, but we didn’t have a room facing the street which was great. They are pet friendly (20 euros/night/dog) but they didn’t offer anything (dog bed, bowls, blanket). The building is being renovated, and there is a scaffold on each side, and this is what you see from the window.

The parking is very small and sometimes is occupied by the cars from the auto service next door. It is 10 euros/night The location is not the best, it seems like a bad-ish neighborhood. (Tip: take the road next to the water to get to the city center, it is nicer)

I am very glad that the hotel has been improved significantly. We were first frightened by comments months ago concerning filthy and terrible conditions of the hotel. Howeve, there were some positive comments in the last few weeks so we decided to give us a try (plus the price was such a bargain). We were not disappointed fortunately. The room is not too spacious, however, it is perfect for short-stays. Very clean and very modern. Hot bath, kettle, tea and coffee bags, clean beddings, mini fridge, and central location - I cannot ask for anything more given the price we paid. On the other hand, it would be much better if the hotel could prepare water bottles in each room. We needed to boil the water ourselves to get some drinkable water :) Besides, they don't have 24-hour reception desk, which is a pity as some visitors might have serious flight delays or midnight flights. For us, we tried to reach the receptionist at 12AM as we were desperately thirsty but saw no one :). But never mind, in general, very very nice stay. I recommend!

Bed comfortable, bathroom had everything you'd need. Comfy chair to read in ... during the day (no light nearby so too dark in the evening) Jug, and tea/coffee/sugar extras available in the lobby Handy fridge useful for snacks, special milks, chocolate ... Relatively close location to main station (ok to walk, but better to take tram/bus if have luggage), several takeaways close by. Tram that stopped within 100m for those with heavy luggage, direct line from main station or from airport. Lift access to the floor helpful with luggage, just small :)

They had a counter with place and chair to study in the room that I wanted to use ... but unless it was daytime with light from the nearby window, it was too dark to read there, All the lights were along the opposite wall near the bed. Some problems with the AC - I travelled in a 'shoulder' period so had hot and cold days

The hotel has been recently renovated: modern design, new furniture, comfortable bed. Also there were cosmetics in the bathroom, including hair conditioner; and a kettle in the room with set of tea and coffee (these is a useful staff that unfortunately you won't find in every hotel). Lobby is small, however you can find there a coffee machine, that is free and you can use it when you want. Location is also great, 10 min from the train station and 10 min from the historical centre. You can walk or take trolleybus, the stop is just a few steps from the hotel.

I would like to mention something that has not been a problem for me, yet could be for a someone. The faсades are currently under renovation. However, during my stay, there were no work there thus it didn't disturb me.
