The location of Cityhotel Trumer Stube was ideal because of its close proximity to the train station, public transportation, Mirabell Palace and Garden, Salzburg Old Town, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. Eggs were cooked to our preference. In addition to the above, the staff made our stay most enjoyable. EVERYONE treated us as though we were frequent guests and old acquaintances. Our many questions were answered, and suggestions were made that enhanced our stay.

My friends and I have nothing negative to say about Cityhotel Trumer Stube.

Easy location nearby the bus stops. It's in a walkable area with shops and grocery very nearby. Staff were wonderful.

It was a very loud area. We were just here for the night before a morning flight. The city street has restaurants, so we kept the windows closed even though it was a bit warm inside. They did have a window AC, but that required leaving a window open so we managed without. There was also construction nearby that started grinding concrete early in the morning, and either garbage pickup or maybe a street sweeper that went by a few times around 6am. If you can manage with the windows closed, it would be ok.

The location was excellent, a short walk to shops, bakeries, supermarkets and cafes. Very close to the bridge to the old town and close to Mirabell Gardens. A 20 minute easy walk to the train station. It was lovely to be checked in by a person at reception. There was free tea and coffee all day. We didn’t have the hotel breakfast as we preferred to try different cafes around town. There was a fan in the room and the window opened wide with a nice view of the cute street below. The bathroom was small but absolutely adequate. The bed was comfortable.

Nothing major. We stayed in April but it might be quite hot in the room without aircon. It was noisy if you left the window open at night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was great - near to Mirabell gardens (also ideal for bus transport to/from the airport as the bus stops at Mirabellplatz) and Kapuzinerberg and also just a short walk over the river to the old town so easy walking distance. The room was a good size, the shower was nice, there was a TV in the room, and there was a wardrobe. The hotel was quiet and in a nice side street so there was no traffic noise.

My husband found it difficult to sleep the first night with one soft pillow, but I'm sure had we asked reception they would have helped. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The breakfast was a wonderful, selection of food &. Really great deal for the price. Turmeric has the softest and thirstiest cotton towels that I have ever used in a hotel! ( I travel a lot for work.) Staff was friendly & very helpful. Finally it was a great location.

We had our windows open at night, and we had great view of an old church tower, which started ringing at 5;00 am. We were too lazy to close our window. So the enhanced bell ringing was on us. ;)

Perfect location. 18min walk to Fortress Hohensalzburg, or you can also take public transport. I recommend to walk because you have a panoramic view of the river and of the city. 6min walk to Mozart’s birthplace house. 5min walk to Mirabell Palace. The breakfast was very complete, variety of breads, variety of cheese, ham, fruits, yogurt, vegetables, fresh made waffles and they can also make you fresh made scrambled eggs. Attention of the staff is magnificent!

Very good location in the middle of the old town. Easy to walk through and explore. The staff were really nice and helpful. Access to the coffee machine all day was a reall bonus! The hotel is right around the corner from a supermarket, and also the best strudel cafe. Room was very comfortable. Quiet apart from a few drunk people on the streets.

They had taken the mini fridge out of our room for some reason but we were able to use the fridge in the breakfast room.

The location is excellent, near shops and restaurants, and across the river from the main historical area. The staffer was very nice and welcoming, both at front-desk and at breakfast.

No free parking -- need to park at an expensive city-parking garage (a small discount coupon available at front-desk). A little pricey rate (the most we paid per night in our entire trip in Austria).

The staff - Stefanie, Igor, Carlos, and Dominic were really very friendly, they couldn't have been more helpful. It was also lovely to be able to go into the breakfast room any time of day to make yourself a tea/coffee, particularly when coming in to rest after some sightseeing/shopping.

I would have liked a 2nd chair in our room (32) so we could both sit. It wasn't comfortable to sit on the bed because the headboard is recessed into the wall. The bed was really comfortable to sleep but you couldn't sit up on the bed.

Perfectly located for a short visit to Salzburg. A short walk to all the main sites and restaurants and bars but still on a lovely quiet street. Free tea and coffee available all day in the breakfast area which was nice. The staff were all very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

The room was a bit small but big enough for a few days. Bells rang in the early morning in the surrounding area, lovely to hear but if you are a light sleeper pack some ear plugs!
