I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and cozy, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring the city. To top it off, I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a higher room category, which added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. The hotel's location was also perfect, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to all the attractions and amenities. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great staff, comfortable rooms, free upgrade, and excellent location.

While my overall experience at the hotel was exceptional, I would like to provide some feedback regarding the coffee machine. It would have been preferable if it was compatible with Nespresso capsules. Additionally, as I was in Austria, I had anticipated being greeted with Mozart chocolate, which would have added a touch of local charm to my stay.

PROS: Fantastic location on the right side of the river so that you can look at the castle. Walk to all the sites you want to see in the old town on both sides of the river. Rooms were spacious and beds and linen were top!. Toiletries were also from good brands. Breakfast at the rooftop is a dream - restaurant staff provide world class service!! Our room had been recently painted and the smell bothered us upon check in and so front desk apologized and immediately moved us to another room. 5 Star customer service!!!. CONS: parking lot is not onsite so you need to park in front of hotel for loading and unloading and then drive a couple blocks to it. (I guess it couldn’t be perfect for such an old location!)

Stayed in Honeymoon suite on 2nd floor. Suite is great. Looks exactly like it does in the photos on website for this suite. Lots of space and views from about 4 windows that can open to the river, the churches, shopping area and Salzburg Fortress.

When we arrive, staff seemed a little confused on checking us in. Could have been more helpful explaining that it is ok to parking the spot in front of hotel and offload bags. Had to ask a lot of questions from staff to understand how the check in worked.

Our room and bathroom were quite spacious and comfortable. We had a dog with us and food and water dishes were provided. The breakfast buffet was very good and could be enjoyed at the terrace restaurant, with a view of the whole old town and the castle as a lovely backdrop. The position of the hotel is excellent, being situated directly by the bridge over the river, connecting the new and old towns.

We know there is not much the hotel can do about it, but the noise from the street behind the hotel, particularly in the evening, was quite disturbing and went on until after midnight. Then, at about 5.30 until about six o'clock there was always a lot of noise from the town workers removing rubbish. Luckily, with the windows closed the noise was minimal and the AC was good. But we would have liked fresh air some of the time.

I was very satisfied with the pleasant and nice actions of the staff at the reception desk. Their approach has always been kind and professional. The hotel's location is excellent, crossing the bridge de to conveniently walk to the historic centre of the city.

I. I've only had one dinner at a restaurant located on the 7th floor, which has a lovely view of the city. However, what is entirely wrong is the quality of the food on offer, which has spoiled my overall favourable view of this hotel.

Room was delightful with a panoramic view of the old town, the river and the last of the Winter snow on the Austrian Alps. Very comfortable room and breakfast was brilliant. Loved our stay here. Should have stayed longer than two nights.

The only issue was the room temperature which was far too warm for our liking. Tried to adjust it but to no effect. This has been a familiar issue for us in European hotels.

The hotel is beautiful, it’s one of my favourite spots to frequent when I visit Salzburg. I always head to the rooftop bar for drinks, with its spectacular views of the Altstadt. This was my first overnight stay at the hotel, but not the last. Amazing staff: friendly, attentive and all round warm and welcoming, ready with a glass of bubbly on arrival. I celebrated my birthday and was pleasantly surprised with a personal, handwritten card and chocolates on my bed in my room. Just a wonderful start to my birthday.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I would like to comment how pleased I was with the service provided by the staff at this wonderful hotel! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is conveniently located for all the main tourist attractions of Salzburg. And the best part is the beautiful view of the old town, including Festung Hohensalzburg, from the hotel window! (The night view is even more special.) I want to stay at this hotel for our next trip to Salzburg.

The rooms were nice and clean and the location is very convenient. However, staff is unfriendly. Check-in was supposedly from 2pm onwards, when we arrived at 02:45pm our room wasn't ready. We asked if we can get a table at the rooftop bar while waiting, staff first didn't want to help in arranging such a table and ask us to just sit in the lobby. Only after asking a third time someone managed to get us a table at the rooftop bar where we could get a drink while waiting for the room to be fixed.

The hotel's location is more than wonderful in the old city and almost on the bridge, so you are close to everything: restaurants, cafes, and shopping . Staff being so helpful at the reception. they were welcoming and upgraded me to a room with the most beautiful view of the river.
