Hotel is a few stops away from Salzburg Main Station on Bus 2 & 3 stops away from Mirabell Platz on Bus 4. Prompt response from hotel. After keying in our details online, hotel emailed us Salzburgerland Mobility Tickets even before we arrived. We were able to use this Salzburg Mobility Ticket for free rides on all buses & trams in Salzburg region & even on Bus 150 to Bad Ischl & part of the journey on Bus 840 to Konigssee Berchtesgaden Germany. A big thank you to the cheerful, friendly & helpful receptionists. Will stay here if we come to Salzburg again. Thanks.

The staff here were great, contacting us well in advance of reception closing when we were hours later arriving than we expected to be. Luckily, we arrived before reception closed, got checked in and parked in no time. The room was a little noisy overnight as there’s no air-con and we had both windows wide open as it was hot weather. It was reasonably cool inside with windows open and a pedestal fan is provided, the bed was comfortable with good linen and the shower and bathroom were super clean with good water pressure. We did have an issue with the light outside the bathroom on our first night which stayed on all night! Thankfully the maintenance team sorted the problem for night two. The hotel parking is around the corner 100 metres away and not secured but there is loading/unloading space outside the hotel. A good stay just a 20 minute walk to the old town. The tourist tax is used in part to pay for free public transport for guests which is frequent with a stop close to the hotel. It would be useful to have some information about where to place recycling. Recommended

The location was super close to the main town, only about a 15 min walk, and a 25 min walk to the castle ! The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and perfect with the price it was. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything it said it would. The building is quite retro but everything was working fine so was not an issue. I was able to check in earlier which was also a plus. The only thing I would say is there was sometimes a smell coming from the sink but other than that it was absolutely perfect !

Was clean, pleasant, reasonable - would definitely stay again when visiting or passing through Salzburg.

I would only say that selecting the room, based on description given, was a bit confusing during booking. Upon arrival, we discovered there was an extra single bed in a room adjacent to the space, that we could have availed of for a family member, instead of paying for a separate room. In this way, we wasted some of our precious money for the trip. Also, for the benefit of other tourists, the castle that is portrayed in the photo gallery isn't visible from the hotel itself. One must drive out to a main street to see it. When we did see it from our vantage point, it was a beautiful sight, though!

I booked two double rooms at the hotel. One for myself and one for my son, so that we could go hiking and sightseeing in and around Salzburg. The hotel is in a good place for getting about, being about a 20 minute walk into the city centre. The hotel was also quiet at night when you needed it to be. There are also various bus stops nearby to travel to the station, airport, St Gilgen etc. Buses are very frequent and well priced. The rooms were a good size, clean and with a shower which worked very well. The people on reception were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I advise getting a Salzburg card which will save money on travel and sightseeing with things such as the Untersberg cable car and Zoo being free with the card.

I think a small safe in the rooms for passports would have been good, although not essential. We didn't think much of the continental breakfast as there wasn't much choice and for ten Euros(each) we expected better. Still there are plenty of places on the walk into the city to get a brekkie. Although admittedly they're a lot more expensive. You get what you pay for though!!

You can reach the city center in 15 minutes by foot from the hotel, the location is great. They also have parking available in a lot nearby at the price of 10 euros a day. The staff is super friendly and can speak english well. The breakfast is a buffet that has everything you would need. The rooms are very simple but clean and have everything you need - comfortable bed and enough space for your luggage. They also have a hairdryer. They helped us with good restaurants nearby and gave us city cards that provide free entrance to main attractions and public transport. They cost around 30 euros per person and are totally worth it.

A basic hotel, very clean, very good location and very friendly staff. They serve breakfast but did not try it. The parking is on a perpendicular street and it is not paved, and costs €12 per night. There is a designated place in front of the hotel where you can stop to unload the car. The walk to the city center is ~15-20 mins and goes through an area with many bars and coffee shops. There is an indian restaurant right next to the hotel. For the right price I would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel not too far from the center and this was a good option. The room was large enough for three people, staff was friendly and helpful. It is a bit far from the main sights but there are good bus connections. Bus 2 goes directly from the train station and bus 4 to the old city with the main sights. Breakfast was nothing special, but there are several supermarkets close to the hotel (Lidl, Penny, Spar, Billa). The Indian restaurant next door was good. We booked a Salzburg card, and this was very useful, saved money on the sights and buses.

In our room for three people a third chair would have been good.

The place was very clean. The location is great, the city center is easily reachable on foot, but there's also a bus for those who might need it. Parking is also good. I believe the property has its own parking or an arrangement with a nearby facility, but I had no trouble parking on the street. Staff were kind and welcoming. They also have city maps and explain how the Salzburg Card works, you can even buy it directly from them.
