I was in a six bed with en suite. I was on the bottom bunk with access to a plug. the shower was clean and the toilet was in the hallway. The lady at the front desk was super nice and didn't laugh at my average German.

When I arrived a woman had already set up and was prepared to sleep in my assigned bed. After some discussion she moved to her actual bed as it would have cause problems the next day when she checked out and I stayed on. My towel - which was hanging on a towel hook went missing after the cleaners visited the following day. As it was after reception had closed I had no way to replace the towel. It is easy to walk from the front door all the way to the bedroom with no barriers - potential security risk.

Very clean and instructions were were. In the heart of old Town. Very close to connecting bridge for larger Christmas market too.

Even though we had a dedicated shower with sink, we had to walk to a separate room for toilet, which had no dedicated sink. This means you needed to walk back to your assigned room to the shower area to wash your hands. This also means that the door handles most likely had plenty of germs. I would recommend you bring your own hand sanitizer.

The system for food storage in the kitchen was great - in the fridge you have your own locker. They provide earplugs. It was great to have sink and shower inside room but toilet outside. Two tables with chairs for an 8 bed dorm was very generous and useful. Great design of the room.

Some roommates closed the windows at night to keep out street noise / insects, but it was too hot (summer). There were just two tables fans for everyone which wasn't enough to cool the room.

Woman at reception was lovely and easy to communicate since I was checking in after 4pm. Easy to get in. Initially the front door didn’t open but it did with the key supplied. Building is historical and old but very clean. Dorm rooms were clean and did not feel old. It was nice having the toilet outside the room and shower inside the room allowing 2 people to use the bathroom at the same time. There is a kitchen with nice reading nook on the second floor. It was right in the old town so it was easy to walk around and explore. Enjoy the nature views of grassy hills on the street of the old town, you can see it right down the road. There were powerpoints by every bed.

The kitchen has a microwave. Asides from that you are unable to use the fridge and there are no cooking cookware or utensils or plates to use. I had no issues storing my luggage in the luggage room but I noticed it did not have a lock to protect your luggage from other guests who did not need to use the luggage room. People from the street could easily open the luggage room as there is another entry point into the hall that leads to the luggage room,

location in old town of Salzburg , walking distance to all interest place. room is very clean and WIFI and bed is comfortable. they provide all utensil in the kitchen just ask the lady . you can even do laundry and cooking your self. fifth floor rooftop have a space for smoking and u can see the town , panorama tour operator just 6 minute walk and you can make all daily tour booking from there ,

i find out beside receptionist in d institute , Salzburg is not a friendly town to tourist ! feel they still have racist problem to others ..the reason i said that as three day i stay and we have meet 2 restaurant and tour operator given us very uncomfortable feeling . won't visit Salzburg anymore but Innsbruck is very nice friendly town.

Location was great, staff friendly, and the room was really nice, very clean. Great value for your money.

When I came back one day I found my room door to be unlocked. Cleaning staff should be more careful about that. Breakfast options should be better, given the price.

the location is great. can walk to all tourist attractions. supermarkets and food nearby. friendly staff. has laundry. basic room but quite clean. no AC but the fan is very much helpful. and the style of the hotel is fantastic.

didn't find it so easily. the pinpoint on booking is the building opposite, and if open it in google map, it leads to the cemetery.

Institut Saint Sebastian has an excellent location near Mirabell Gardens and the Old City of Salzburg. Even though there is a lot of activity in the surrounding area, the Institut was always quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is amazing; right in the heart of the old town. We booked a mixed dormitory but were upgraded to a private room at no extra cost. The bathrooms and room were clean. It was a quiet atmosphere.

The breakfast wasn’t included in the price

I had great stay! Very friendly and helpful lady at the front for check in and out. Great location. Simple but comfortable room. If ever back in Salzburg will stay here and recommend to others. Nice breakfast. Shared bathroom kept very clean.

Nothing I can think of. It is a hostel so simple accommodations but I have no complaints
