The hotel is well maintained, courteous and helpful staff, and good service. Rooms are clean. Nice place to stay. The room has a refrigerator and AC which is nice during summer, The lift/ elevator in hotel is convenient for baggage carrying.

Connectivity with old town tourist places is only by bus. 5 stops. The restaurant serves only pizza, beer. Coffee. We had breakfast which has limited options.

The staff were very helpful and nice. Even informed us of the tax included as our transport/mobility charges (which means we can travel around Salzburg for free). The room was spacious, just that the floor is not as clean as I thought. But basic necessities were provided. They also gave us complimentary apples. And the location was very convenient, just right outside a bus stop that takes us to old town direct. Very convenient.

Cleanliness can be improved.

A very clean hotel, in a good location. It has a parking garage (paid separately) that came in handy because it snowed overnight. It also had coffee and tea, a tea kettle, and a fridge in the room, which we appreciated. We traveled as a family of 4.

There were some people being loud at about 10:30 PM (kids yelling and running in the corridors) which no one did anything about. The ventilation system was quite loud as it turned on and off through the night. We booked a room for 4 people and it came with one double bed and one pull-out couch bed. For one night, it was okay (though the couch bed was creaky), and the kids took the couch bed, but we anticipated having 2 regular double beds (given the reservation).

The hotel met and exceeded our expectations, offering excellent value for money. Our room was clean, cozy, and gave us an experience that felt more like a higher-rated hotel than a typical 3-star. A special thanks to Mouna, the kind and professional receptionist who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Since we were traveling on my birthday, she welcomed us warmly with a glass of Prosecco, which added a lovely personal touch. We highly recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.

The hospitality at this hotel was exceptional — the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The rooms, though small, were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. There’s easy access to key locations with convenient transport options.

The breakfast layout and offerings could be improved. The entrance was crowded and there were limited hot food options. The showers in the room could be replaced too as the water pressure was quite weak.

I really liked the staff, helpful, communicative and had plenty of suggestions to give. The room was always very clean and in mint condition after the daily clean. The position is not central but the city is so small that takes only 30 minutes walking to the city center and right in front of the hotel there's a bus station that in 10 minutes brings you in the old town. There are a lot of parking spots.

Some parking spaces (very few) are a bit too small due to the building pillars and if a SUV parks close to them it's a bit difficult to park there. I have to say that the parking was full and I've always find a spot, so it's not a big issue.

Every interaction with the staff was a pleasure; they were always friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. The room was nice size with enough space. There are bus stop in front of the hotel which make our transportation really easy. I recommend Hotel Max 70 and look forward to visiting someday again.

The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. However, I did notice that the cleanliness could be improved. There were a few areas that could use a bit more attention, such as the corners of the room and under the furniture. A more thorough cleaning would certainly enhance the overall experience.

This Hotel is very comfortable. Rooms were clean and bright with a fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location. Bus 1 stopped outside the door and travelled into the city centre and to the train station. Bus 2 was also near by and travelled to the airport [Journey 5 to 10 mins]. There is a supermarket [Billa] 3 minutes from hotel.

Convenient position in a quietish district with excellent frequent bus service 5 mins into the town centre. We upgraded the room size which helped us a lot. Hotel is a typical tourist/travellers hotel, well run.

Being charged extra to park in the hotel's own car park always rankles us. Breakfasts a bit limited and basic.

Good spacious room. Modern bathroom. Fridge. Very functional but nicely decorated and worked very well as a family room. Quiet as our room did not face the road and comfy beds (the sofa bed was less comfy but not too bad). The bus stop is right outside the front door and the bus timetable is very accurate so it was super easy to get in and out of the old town and fun to use the buses. I'd definintely recommend getting a Salzburg card which includes free transport and free entrance into nearly all the museums etc - this worked brilliantly for our stay.
