apartment was extremely spacious. beds and bedding were really good quality and comfortable. fans in bedrooms kept rooms nice and cool. bathroom products were lovely. apartment didn't have a washing machine or Iron in it but one was available to use if required. restaurant directly opposite did lovely food. there is a supermarket within easy walking distance. reasonable walking distance to main town but buses pass the door which I presume would take you there if didnt want to walk. 15 mins by taxi to train station. really good communication with host who even arranged for apartment we were having to be first cleaned on the day of our arrival so we could get in early. there is an outside seating area which can be accessed which was a lovely area to sit in.

nothing we didnt like. price was higher than other places we stopped on our trip but quality was better here.

No breakfast involved. Location was really good. Surrounded by mountains and a very short walk to a beautiful lake. We were allocated mobility tickets for public transport complimentary to the hostess. A lovely restaurant right next door and public swimming pool across the road. It was great that the bathroom had aid support with the shower and toilet.

A full length mirror would be very handy. The second bedroom was very squishy and the kitchen was very small. I did not like that to use the washing machine there was an extra 5 euro charge.

We had an exceptional stay at Sauerwinegut, super comfy and we also love the facilities and the location. We loved the walk to the town centre and back over the hill every day as the scenery was breathtaking and we're big walkers anyway. Eva was super responsive and always there to help if we had any questions. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfy and the apartment super warm and cozy which we loved. We cannot wait to return!!! 10 out of 10 and a fabulous stay.

We loved everything just wished we had a bit more coffee to last throughout our stay or at least coffee we could buy as we cannot be without coffee in the morning and had no idea what capsules to purchase. This is by no means negative just a suggestion to be able to purchase more coffee / milk / sugar etc

Stayed in the Studio apartment which is actually a one bedroom :). Cute apartment and very clean. Grateful for the car park at the front of the building too. Pressure and temp of shower was great. We stayed just after Christmas and the little Christmas tree was a nice touch :)

Shower over spa was annoying as there was no shower curtain. We tried our best but kept flooding the bathroom floor after each shower. Also the angles of the roof in the bedroom are a bit of a hazard as the bed is directly under them, as is the situation in the kitchen. We did hit our heads a couple of times. Overall it was a lovely place to stay, very warm and clean which suited our stay for a couple of nights.

We had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back! Eva was very helpful and made our stay so lovely. Communication was easy and she was always quick and responsive. Loved all the thoughtful touches - from dishwasher tablets, to bin bags and tea towels, from coffee pods, teabags and creamer, to snacks on arrival. Beautiful, comfortable apartment, walking distance to the town centre, and really handy bikes to freely use. We ate twice during our week at the restaurant next door - so convenient, with good food and friendly staff - what's not to love! Suggestions from previous reviews have obviously been taken on board - whilst the road outside is quite busy and noisy early in the morning (meaning we were reluctant to keep the windows open overnight), the apartment did have a fan and a portable air conditioning unit which came in really useful in the heat.

Absolutely nothing to dislike - everything was excellent. We noticed there was no oven/grill, just a hob burner and a microwave, but we ate out every evening anyway, so no great inconvenience.

Very spacious. Beautiful neighbourhood. Very easy to get to town on the line 23 bus just opposite which runs every 15 min in summer. All overnight visitors now have free public transport in Salzburg! The walk would have been easy enough but we were there in a heatwave! Eva very responsive to requests and questions.

No air con, but two fans provided and we left the balcony door open all night. To be fair, the heat was fairly unprecedented.

Location was great for easy public transport to sightseeing and restaurants. Huge swimming pool very close by, but we had no time to try it. The mobile air conditioner furnished us was a lifesaver in the heat during our stay. Every late afternoon we looked forward to returning to it, to cool off, as it was really hot during our stay. Good communication with host if we had questions about anything. Easy access to sightseeing maps,brochures, public transportation, and parking on site, a plus. Helpful restaurant recommendations saved us time and we enjoyed the food and service. Comfy bed, spacious and exceptionally clean, great shower and water pressure.

Eva welcomed us, she was very kind and informed us about the apartment and also about the city of Salzburg. the apartment was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. it is also in a very nice location, very quiet and very close to the city, just ten minutes by foot. we would highly recommend it

everything was nice, only the couch in the living room would like a change of its cover there was also a small disturbance from some noise at night, maybe from the radiator or from some machine from the restaurant that was below the apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious 1 bedroom apartment. The beds were nice, not too soft as some in Europe tend to be, lots of space for the 4 of us. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. It was very clean apartment, the bathroom was a very good size with space for all of our travel toiletries, and the kitchen was really nice to have and stocked with the basics (thank goodness for the coffee machine!). And it was very reasonably priced!

No Air Conditioner and it was quite hot the days we were there, so our nights were on the very warm side. *the host kindly provided 2 fans for the sleeping areas. We opened all windows and doors, but without screens on most of them, we let lots of bugs in, including mosquitoes ☹️ It's a bit out of the city...but we knew that when booking.

A wonderful stay in Salzburg. A delightful 20min walk/ short bus journey into the central area. Some beautiful walks and mountain view that you would miss if you stay centrally. We stayed in an apartment with our 1yr old daughter, all perfectly equipped to cater for a family. A lovely baby package is possible to arrange and suited us well. Eva was a great host with lots of helpful tips and a brilliant guide to the area. Board games and spare charging cables, free bicycle hire, every detail covered. There is a lovely Austrian restaurant just next door also when you don’t want to cook. Delightful stay, we hope to return again soon!
