The room is perfectly designed. I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels. This Hotel was the most welcoming one. The room tempreature was adjusted to the cold winter weather outside and it was warm and welcoming. The hotel'facilities like Indoor pool, spa, etc were excellent to get relaxed and gain energy for the next day. The Breakfast was by far the best one I had in Austria.

The hotel is a short bus trip from main station , bus line 180 or 181 and then a short walk . The hotel is located in a lovely leafy upmarket area of Salzburg . The hotel has 2 pools and a private lake , bikes to use , and there are beautiful walks in the area . For dinner there is a hotel about 10 min walk away that is reasonably priced and very good. Breakfast is of a high standard along with the staff who own the business Can’t recommend highly enough and already have booked for next year

Absolutely nothing , but if you want shopping perhaps you need to be further in town

The staff, including the cleaning staff, were really friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, sweet and savory and vegan. The beds were comfortable. There is also and indoor pool which is perfect in case of bad weather and you would just like to have a slow day. The room and building are well maintained. Plenty of space on the private parking. The location is nearby Salzburg and Königssee which is perfect if you want to do some sightseeing/activities.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing and offered lots of choice. The spa facilities were fantastic, and the lake was beautiful and a lovely place to swim. We would happily stay at the Hotel Gabi again.

The hotel was further from a bus stop into Salzburg than we had expected. I think having a car would be helpful. However, we were offered vouchers for free local travel, which was very cost-effective.

Personable and friendly staff who were always helpful. Quiet location (in a village) and only 15 minutes on the bus to Salzburg centre. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lovely breakfast, super comfortable bed, spacious spa area with 4 different spa types and areas to relax. Absolutely spotlessly clean, the owners (family owned) obviously take a great deal of pride in making sure everything is perfect for their guests. Great place to stay, would highly recommend.

I just loved everything in that place! I stayed there for 4 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. I slept very well here and it was such a relaxing hotel. The owner family and their staff were marvellous! The breakfast was excellent with a lot of local or home made food. The wellness area was lovely: it was only for adults and very peaceful. The pools were allowed for all ages. There is free tea, bubble water and small snacks. I didn't have a car, but I rented an e-bike for 15 euros and explored Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall with it. There is also a local taxi, who will drive you anywhere you want in Wals' area for 1 euro.

I just loved it! Well, a mini fridge instead of a not-so-cold minibar in the room would have been more practical.

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the sauna was such a relaxing treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I truly loved every moment. The town itself is beautiful, surrounded by stunning mountain views - perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

The only minor downside was that the bed could have been a bit bigger with little bit more space in the room, but overall, everything was good.

The family run hotel, was superb. All the family were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were exceptional. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast had a varied assortment. However, you could also ask for fresh cooked omelette or eggs how you like them too. Requested extra pillow was sorted immediately. Facilities in the spa area very good, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings with outside pool and showers. Ideal for couples. The private lake was idyllic and a must see with fantastic views of the Alps. All the staff were friendly and we were made to feel relaxed to enjoy our break. Plenty of buses nearby, to pop into Salzburg regular half hourly. Ideal for a nice vacation.

Literally, one of the best hotels we’ve ever booked! Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Provided lots of information on the region, including restaurants, things to do, places to visit etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable. High quality materials and great comfort in all areas. And the SPA - we were amazed by the spa and the pools! Never expected such a great relax and spa zone. You have access to a spa bar, calm relax zone, and as many towers as you might need! This was the first time I was not supposed to ask for a dry towel. Also, the breakfast was delicious - great variety and good food quality. Nearby, there is an Italian restaurant - a must visit for dinner. Last but not least - free parking, e-charging station and private lake! And the lake! Wow, such a beauty! 10/10 and this is the first time I am giving such a rating on booking!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are clean and the spa and swimming pool areas are fantastic. Breakfast was also really good. Staff was polite and caring.

We had booked the stay for escape from the summer heat in Italy and a longer way to Bulgaria to visit some parts of Austria. On the day of the trip it turned out that the weather forecast was rain and 18 degrees. Given the deviation from the end location and bad weather we called the property with the request to waive the cancellation fee kindly as we would go straight to Bulgaria instead. Unfortunately, they were not accommodating the request and we had to travel unwillingly as we had already committed to pay 200 Eur. This lack of flexibility cost us much more as we had to stay another night in Austria and this whole lack of understanding cost us about 400 km extra and maybe another 400 EURO or more in costs. Sometimes we need to be human and not only business.
