We were there for 1 night before our flight so of course we chose this hotel. Pros: Excellent location close to the airport: 3-5 minutes by car Or close to the bus station to the airport Or a 10-15 minutes walk Very Good Room: Spacious Totally quiet (and we are rather picky with this issue): not a sound, not from the neighbors, not from the corridor nor the elevator, no planes, nothing, Perfect! Firm mattress Good pillows These 3 pros allowed us a very good sleep which at our age is not easy to get Thanks!! Kettle with tea, coffee Plenty of electrical sockets for your devices to charge Shower: Very hot (if you like it, and we did) Breakfast Superb, you cab even find smoked salmon Parking Enough spaces available, would you need to return your rental to the airport branch Bus station to the center of Salzburg, just a 3 minutes walk to the bus stop And the fare is free as included in the local tax paid with the room. The staff: Helpful and smiling

We would have liked more lamps and better light in the room in the evening, and a stronger stream in the shower The cost of the room is not cheap but this hotel is worth it

The hotel Himmelreich is a beautiful family run establishment situated in a peaceful residential area minutes away from Salzburg Airport but there is no noise from the aircraft. Just a couple of minutes away there is a bus stop with a very good service to Salzburg City Centre. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities you need, beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. In the morning a very good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold dishes to choose from and this is available to be eaten either in the lovely dining room or outside on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden and natural pool. The rooms also have balconies with side or garden views. The staff are very pleasant and make you feel very welcome. This is an amazing hotel very much a must visit.

Beautiful charming hotel, extremely well maintained, cosy and roomy bedroom, ours was overlooking the back garden and swimming pond with our own terrace and a beautiful view of the mountain. The breakfast was outstanding and all staff were warm and welcoming. The natural pond is actually really for swimming with cold refreshing water which came handy on very hot summer days. It is a short walk to the airport and still very quiet, and there are convenient buses to take you to the center of town. We wanted something more authentically Austrian and contrysidey but still close to the center of town and this did fit the bill perfectly. I heartly recommend this place to stay in Salzburg if you want something different and very comfortable.

Nothing not to like, it was all very lovely!

So close to the airport and yet so peaceful and with a lovely view of the mountains from the balcony. The staff were so helpful and allowed us an early check in. We only had a few hours to spend before catching our return flight the next morning but the gentleman on reception explained in English very patiently exactly how to get the bus in and out of Salzburg. Where to get off where to get back on and sold us the tickets so it meant we got to do everything we wanted which was a real bonus. The room is very tastefully furnished with good quality fixtures and fittings.comfortable bed, powerful shower. If I was looking for a city break hotel again this would be it.

The only improvement I could suggest is coffee making facilities in the room.

As good as always. Welcoming and friendly family run hotel in a quiet side street literally round the corner from the airport. We enjoyed a splendid breakfast overlooking the secluded garden with a view of the Untersberg from our top floor balcony room. Comfortable bed and instant hot water. Try Hasinger’s restaurant close by for an excellent evening meal, we went 3 times in 8 days it was so good and reasonably priced.

Beautiful hotel, attention to detail was exceptional my room had everything I needed and more. The quality of the fittings and everything provided in the room was very high. The breakfast was fantastic great selection and really good quality and healthy options. I felt extremely safe here as a solo traveller and shall certainly return.

It was a short but excellent stay. Our filight was on early time in the morning, but the host prepared a meal box for us. There is a restaurant nearby with a good menu and quality. Also there is a big outlet shopping mall in walking distance, which is worth to spend some time for your shopping list.

breakfast was wonderful, everything was homemade, fresh and delicious.The hotel is a family concept, room view that i stay was mountains .Pool is small but acceptable especially mentioned taht it is without chemicals which is so good. thanks to all

just as a suggestion, i have a sunburn and during night i couldn't find first aid box, its better to make it somewhere visible for customers that also have kids.This is not a negativ comment, just to support to be better.

The style and character of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went out their way to make sure we had a great experience there in Salzburg. Thank you for free city public transport passes. Very much appreciated.

Only stayed for one night, passing through. Convenient location, close to highway, shopping mall, 10min drive to Salzburg centre. Room was spacious and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. There is a wellness area and an outdoor pond.

No complaints, really.
