Plenty of space and very clean. Kitchen was equipped well enough for a few days' stay and the coffee machine got a lot of use. Plenty of air in spite of warm weather and other reviews that implied otherwise. Close to quick no.4 bus into the city centre. Friendly and helpful manager on site most mornings.

A closed cupboard would be useful rather than all open shelves, so my visitor from another room had to look at my underwear. An armchair for relaxing would have been welcome.

Great location close to bus stop and free parking for rental car in the back. The apartment was basically just a room, bathroom and kitchenette, so there’s no separate seating for the TV like a couch, but we were gone all day every day anyway, so it was ok for our purposes. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook a few meals at home because restaurants tend to be pretty expensive (compared to Greece, where we live). The bed was very comfortable.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. It was great. The room got hot at times, even with the heater off, so we turned on the fan and opened the winds and we were fine. If I have to be picky, I’d suggest they have a roll of paper towels and a dish drying rack in the room, but it’s not that big a deal.

Excellent value for money, exactly what one would expect from this type of hotel. Reasonably spacious room and very large bathroom, everything was clean and comfortable, with a small kitchen yoo. No check-in required, they just give you a code to collect your keys, which is convenient if you have to arrive late. The location is far from the centre, but there is almkst zero walking time to the bus stop, and buses are very frequent.

They do not clean the room every day, but I think that this is pretty much standard. They do not offer breakfast, but you can bring something over, and use the kitchen (including a microwave and a nespresso machine). The table is very small for a proper meal, but OK for a quick breakfast.

We loved our apartment. It was very clean and cosy, and it had everything that one may need for a short holiday. The kitchen is well equipped, and so is the bathroom. The bed is super comfortable and the building is in a very quiet area - the perfect ingredients for a good night's sleep. The property is conveniently located, with public transport just a few yards down the road, and a few supermarkets a short stroll away. We always walked to and from the town centre, which is about 25-30 minutes away on foot. Just down the road from the property there is a small tavern (Gnigl Stub'n) which serves good quality local dishes at very affordable prices, as well as tasty local beers. We had a lovely time at Ante Portas and we would strongly recommend it to other travellers and holidaymakers.

Although not essential, it would be good to have a tea towel and a draining board in the kitchen.

The stay itself was very nice. We really enjoyed the room and facilities it offered. It was very clean!! The hosts were the sweetest and kindest people which made our experience that much more enjoyable, who also gave us some great recommendations for where to visit and eat. The beds were also very comfortable.

When my partner and I booked this place, we didn't do enough research on the location of the apartments which is completely on us. But, I believe the price of the stay was a little too much for where the apartments were situated. It was rather difficult getting into the main city center and took a while to reach our destinations. We thought it would have been more convenient if we had stayed inside the city center rather than outside of it.

we booked two apartments. Aparttmenst pretty much as expected for the money. We arrived early - no problem, receptionist said all ready and had no problem us going to room early. Our flight was in evening but checkout was 10am. No problem, receptionist allocated us an unoccupied room so that we could change in late afternoon into aeroplane clothes. We were about 4kms outside of Old Town. But bustop was 50m away, buses generally every 15 to 20 mins.

They fitted lots of facilities into one room, even a coffee machine! The bathroom was nice and big enough for two people to use at the same time. It was close to a bus stop, a supermarket and a lovely Italian restaurant. The owner was so helpful and nice and went above and beyond to help me organise an earlier flight home. Couldn't have done it without her help😊

A toaster would have been handy but they were not that common in Europe...?

Close to public transport, bathroom is big and clean, kitchen is well-equipped, easy to self-check-in, good cafe nearby with a very kind lady who makes you feel welcome (as opposed to far too many waiters, cashiers and sellers we encountered all around who acted as if we had committed a crime for not learning a whole new language to be able to order a sandwich without bothering them asking what's inside). I popped up to say hello to the receptionist in the morning and she was very welcome as well. My husband and I were very pleased with our choice. We pretty much recommend Apartments Ante Portas and will stay there again if we ever go back to Salzburg.

Location - very good, quite location. Nearby bus station that leads you to the city center. Check in - you get a code and key is awaiting you at the door, so you can check in a lil later. Staff - very friendly staff, always helpful. Bathroom - spacious bathroom with good shower zone. Utilities - perfect. Coffee - good.

Bed - the rightside matress was curved a lil bit and was not so comfortable. We dont know what is the situation in the other rooms.

The staff was very helpful, and minor inconveniences were promptly eliminated upon arrival. You can get to the center very quickly by public transport numbers 4 and 10. Bus stop next to the hotel. The apartment had everything for a comfortable stay. Convenient private parking in the hotel courtyard for cars of different sizes.
