Had a fridge, internet was good, room was clean..Had a halal restaurant just outside the hotel..Multiple bus stops were serving the hotel.Tip bus line 120 connects directly to Salzburg Hauptbahnof ( central train station) and is a 2 minute walk away .Room also had. Tea kettle and mugs.

Reception staff was supposed to email me the Guest Mobility pass when we checked in but she forgot and we couldn't go out that evening as we were waiting for the email. I had to get it from reception ( which is in another building) next morning. I also sent messages through the booking.com prior to coming but there was no reply

- Very clean and spacious family room. - Good location. Although not in the centre but very close to the bus-stop for number 21 which will take you to the centre and 120 and 121 which will take you to the train station. - Breakfast is DELICIOUS and SATISFYING! - very comfortable beds. - Chen is very informative and welcoming. Him and his staff went extra miles to ensure that his guests are happy and had a great time while staying. His can do attitude was something that the guests will remember and surely want to come back here if they ever in Salzburg.

Hotel Vogelweiderhof was easy to get to and it was nice to have free on-site parking. The room that we received exceeded our expectations in terms of size and beds available. All three kids had their own bed and there were two separate spaces for the adults and the children. My kids especially loved that the room had two balconies. Although those are avaiable to accommodate smokers (we don't smoke), my kids loved having the option to go outside and get some fresh air from time to time. Evening was quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep. Although Hotel Vogelweiderhof is not within walking distance of the Altstadt, it was easy enough to drive there in our car.

The shower was very awkward. It had a glass partition affixed to half the tub and that was it. With the placement of the showerhead and only half the tub contained, I was constantly worried about spraying water throughout the whole bathroom and making a big mess.

The room was very clean and comfortable. There was mini vanity which was very useful. There’s a Tv with kettle and fridge and it’s good to stay here for short term. They also have huge spacious cabinets with space to unpack everything which was nice.

The area around the property is honestly more suited to individuals travelling by car, because it isn’t very pedestrianised like the center is and the bus also didn’t really stop at times which made travelling to and back a bit long at times.

Everything! To start of,:- the hotel is veryyy close to the train station (not even 5 mins car drive). The bus stop is just infront of the hotel and it takes only 10 mins to go to Salzburg centre. Buses pass every 10 mins - sooo convenient. The hotel is very clean, spacious room, comfortable pillows. Last but not least, this hotel has the most helpful receptionists. They explain into details all the attractions, pubs, restaurants & give you excellent tips. Their warm welcome & happy smiles make the stay worthwhile. 10/10 !!! 👏

Stable wifi, a comfortable bed, no significant noise, good breakfast. The hotel is close to Salzburg train station (15 mins walking) and the bus stop is just near the hotel.

1. The maid didn't clean the room at all. She just changed towels and took the rubbish. No sweeping \ washing the floor. 2. The guy on the reception was not friendly on the day of arrival. 3. In the restaurant they do not have many family tables for 3 or more people. The restaurant is relatively small and it is crowded during breakfast time. 4. They do not add food (omelet, sausages, etc) quickly when there is a lot of people. The visitors have to wait for the warm food. 5. Not enough amount of light in the room in the evening time. There are frosted lamps in the rooms scattering light

I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel Vogelweiderhor at the end of May, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's location is ideal, offering great connections to the city center and various tourist spots on the outskirts of town. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you'll find it incredibly convenient to get around. The rooms were cozy and immaculately clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Despite being near the train station, noise was never an issue, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. One of the standout features of our stay was the staff's helpfulness. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, offering valuable tips and assistance throughout our stay. A particularly great perk was the ability to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which allowed us to make the most of our time in the city. Overall, hotel Vogelweiderhor provided an outstanding stay with top-notch service, a prime location, and excellent amenities. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 100

Good location if you travel by car and you don't want to drive around town (20-30 minutes to the city center by foot, but you also have the option to take the bus). We chose this hotel because it is located on the outskirts of the city but still close enough to the city center, so there is no need to drive through the city and because it also has parking included in the price. At the moment we were there, the parking spaces were less than usual because there were maintenance works in the courtyard and some were occupied by construction materials, but it was ok and even though we arrived in the evening after 8 o'clock, we found a parking space.

Nothing bad to say about the property. Rooms (we booked too) were well sized and comfortable, bathrooms both on the small side but more than adequate to have a comfortable experience. Mattress is soft, pillows too. Good temperature in the room and duvet is more than sufficient to sleep well. Have not tried breakfast. Staff at reception was very helpful and really knowledgeable about the transports to and from the city centre and train station.

The location of the hotel is convenient for the train station (might take 15’ by bus or 20’ on foot to reach Salzburg HBF) and is decently connected to the old city and sights via bus (Mon-Fri up to 4 times an hour, Sat-Sun less frequent). Other than that has not much to recommend itself. Decor in the room could be refreshed, some of the wooden paneling or the doors show signs of age and wear. Salzburg is an expensive city for accommodation so I guess we achieved good value for money, still it was not cheap.
