Fantastic location, 4 km to Schoenau, with great view on the mountains, including Eagle's Nest. Personnel was really helpful and always smiling. We appreciated that there was a restaurant & bar over there, serving regional food. Very good WIFI connection, free parking and possibility to take our pet. That was really comfortable. We would like to come back there for sure, but definitely we would choose a room without kitchenette.

The kitchenette was really bad. The fridge was really small, just like the minibar in the hotels. The kitchenette was also badly equipped - there were just two big pans and one big pot (good if you want to cook a soup for 4 people), and only 1 pot lid. There were just two wine glasses - one bigger and one smaller one. No two with the same size. The cutlery tray was too big for the drawer so it was put there under the slope. And last one - the small washbasin tap was installed instead of the kitchen tap. So washing those big pans and pot was really challenging. There were no dishwasher but we knew about that upfront and that was OK. It's really a pity because it would be really easy to fix those basic things. If not that, the stay would be 10/10.

Perfect central location for day trips to nearby Salzburg, St. Wolfgang, Lofer, local, etc. Hotel clean throughout. Nice pool. Wonderful breakfast with nice desserts. In house restaurant excellent/convenient. Comfortable throughout.

Since previous trips, area becoming more crowded. 3 story apartments going in a couple hundred meters up the road. Area losing rural appeal. Cramped original shower in room - used large one in pool/spa area - perfect.

our experience of staying at this hotel was exeptional. everything was perfect. the hotel is authentic and is located in beautiful surroundings. the breakfast was diverse and delicious. we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was also tasty. the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

I felt a bit claustraphobic in the pool area (I guess because it's located in the basement and there are no windows).

Plenty of parking, but also has a bus stop just across the street. The pool is much bigger and nicer in real life than the pictures show. Our breakfast was included and it was a nice, but standard, continental European buffet. Dinner and drinks at the restaurant were excellent.

Lots of smokers and it seem that whenever you left a window open, you had second hand smoke flowing into the room. No air conditioning, so you had to leave windows open.

Restaurant evening meal you need to book. Even as hotel guest doesn't mean you will get a table and food.. No tea or coffee in room but usual for germany

The room is very nice and clean! Located in a great destination and very close to Königssee and Berchtesgadener, there’s a bus station just in front of the hotel! You can take the bus for free with your guest card provided by the hotel. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful! And the breakfast is very tasty and abounds in good food and fresh Brot! Totally recommended for family trip!

Everything is good.

Due to heavy traffic we arrived later then we expected, the staff were very friendly when we finally checked in. The room was very clean, lovely spacious bathroom with a lovely shower. The location was for us absolutely perfect as we didn’t have to travel any longer than 30 mins to visit the places we wanted to during our stay.

The pillows were very poor, not comfortable at all. Woke up with neck ache very morning. The breakfast buffet could have had more choices. The lift was very slow, to the point that my husband and I thought it got stuck.

The hotel was very clean and nice. Also in a good location with bus connection to both Königsee and Berchtesgaden (although you need to be aware that the busses stop relatively early). The staff was also extremely nice and always helpful.

Minor thing, but the toilet in our room didn't have a ventilation system to get rid of the steam from the shower.

The breakfast was amazing!! There was an omelette , different kinds of sausages , very delicious pies. The room was cozy and well cleaned. I liked being there .Oh.. and don’t forget swimsuit . There is a small swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is not far from Konigssee, only 7 mit by bus . The bus stop was near the hotel , just cross the road.

Nothing, everything was amazing

The room was so much more beautiful than the photos. They really made sure to decorate the rooms with the Bavarian style. Room was also very big. Breakfast was good, they also have options for more of an American style breakfast. They allow dogs, which was great. They even invite you to have your dog at dinner with you if you'd like. The location is perfect for both Königsee and eagles nest. We couldn't have been happier here :)
