You simply can not beat the view or location. The hotel is a beauty, and it looks perfect in the setting. Or room, #30 was at the very top, had windows that opened to the "sea" so we could enjoy the unobstructed view. They also let in a pleasant breeze, especially nice in the evenings. When shut, they made the room very quiet, surprisingly, because you are in the heart of activities. Steps away from shopping & restaurants (although the walk across the lake to the Echosbuhl IS worth it!!). Wifi is fabulous. Very clean. Water pressure is good. Parking our car was very easy, and again, it is steps away from the front door. *Ask for your free bus pass, you'll be amazed how many places you can go free & easily.

Breakfast is sufficient, but very simple, especially for the money you pay to stay here. Some of the decorations are hokey and out of place.

The location is really superb. I have a good view of the pier from my room.

The reception counter only opens at 1000 in the morning. It seems a bit late for tourists who want some help before going on the boat trip which normally starts from 0800. On my departure day, the counter was not yet officially staffed at 1015. When I raised a question, the cleaning lady needed to make a phone call to someone who can speak English so that my question could be answered by the gentleman through phone. The shower partition in the toilet of my room is not working properly. As the reception counter was always closed when I finished my dinner and went back to the hotel or when I went out for my trip in the morning. I could not request for any reparation during my stay.

Location was excellent next to the lake, with safe open carparking. Its a lovely hotel but very old so do not expect up to date rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again when next in the area.

You have to drive down the pedestrian area to get to the hotel but once you know where it is isn't really a problem. Breakfast does have limited seating and choice.

we loved everything about this place🥰 starting with the entrance and meeting the amazing lady at the reception - very welcoming and warm person, ready to help anytime. so the first and foremost - we were offered to upgrade our room, because there was such possibility, for very budget-friendly amount of money, which we couldn’t refuse. the lake view just stole our hearts. in general room was very good, the building is old, but well-maintained and you can feel that it has its own character and history. i feel sorry for the people who complain about squeaky floor - guys, the building is old, but kept in a great condition. thanks a lot for the hotel staff, everything was above any expectations. much love, and we will def come next year!

Great location, directly in front of the lake so the views are incredible. The staff are very friendly, we had a couple of issues with getting in and out of the car park, but they helped us out however they could.

No A/C, fine for October but will be a pain in summer. The bed isn’t a “real” double, its two singles pushed together and they’re on wheels so makes it kind of awkward

The hotel was in an ideal location -- absolutely stunning old building! Easy to get to all the places we wanted to see in the area.

The hotel was closing for a winter break the next day. So, we had to pay in cash. I also had parking questions that didn't get answered by the receptionist.

We had a room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is so beautiful. It is the best view a hotel can offer in the Könnigsee. Boat rides just start in front of the hotel. The hotel is situated just at the start of the sea. The nearest bus stop is just 3-4 minutes away. The hotel itself gives you a feeling of old times because of its architecture and interiors. The bathroom was a little bit small but was nice and clean.

The location is perfect, the room was large and comfortable, and had an authentic retro feeling.

Internet was occasionally a bit slow, and the shower was a bit small.

Great location, good breakfast, spacious rooms with balconies. Recomend.

Our room door could not be locked. in general, the hotel would deserve a little modernization, but the price was great for this location
