Beautiful town, fine hotel, fabulous food, and wonderful staff. This was our favorite stay in 3 weeks and 5 countries. We will return!

Noisy music in restaurant

We arrived a little later and the Lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful with all the questions I had. Parking is very convenient in a underground parking lot across the street with an elevator who brings you directly into the Hotel. The Room we booked had everything we could imagen including floor heaters in the Bathroom and in the separate room for the Toilet. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones we had during our entire trip in Europe. The Breakfast was just perfect and everything was fresh and super yummmmmy. The surrounding area has everything you need like shops and restaurants. All the attractions like Eagles Nest, Panorama road or the Koenig's See is just a couple minutes away if you use a Car. Overall we had a perfect stay and we already plan another trip and this time we will stay 3-4 nights. Can't wait to come back.

We were thinking about that and we can not find anything negative about the Hotel.

This is the nicest hotel with such great food and accommodations. Although most staff were extremely nice, there were a few that could be a bit more friendly since you are paying for higher service.

We were early for check in and were enjoying services of restaurant/lounge. The clerk said she would let us know when room was ready. As we watch several others be checked it, we were never told our rooms Were ready. When one of our parties went up to ask about checking , she said “sure, no problem”!! Although we had told her we were waiting. A little bit frustrating , but after you experience all this hotel has to offer, it was very quickly forgotten.

The pool and outdoor hot tub. The views were amazing at this hotel and the location is excellent. The welcome drink.

For the amount you pay, shampoo and conditioner should be a given in the rooms. There was only body wash that doubled as shampoo. It was expensive to add a third person to the room- 90 per night ?? Crazy when there is already a sofa bed in the room and all they have to do is make it up. This hotel is expensive, but I guess you are paying for the views and the location.

absolutely excellent service from bottom to top..very clean,very friendly, our server Raidi excellent dinner service,Igor from spa very friendly, all ladies from spa awesome and Magdaline was fantastic for my massage and facial..front desk again excellent.And the breakfast buffet is massive..we never see this breakfast anywere else..definitely top notch and we will come back!

Breakfast was good location was fine.

Bartenders in lobby area had a negative attitude and weren’t very friendly. Especially young guy don’’t know his name! Never introduced himself and acted like we were bothering him. We are from USA and always tip..we did not tip him he was rude. Dog in main dining room upstairs laying near table. Front desk welcome was cordial but transportation info wasn’t very good regarding buses.

Restaurant was exceptional considering we stayed on Dinner/ B&B. The Restaurant / lounge area is a nice place to be. Pool / spa facilities also excellent with panoramic views. Staff very welcoming. Parking available in adjacent under ground car park with its own section for the hotel, this was very convenient.

Personally didn’t like the separate WC to the bathroom in the room, but the room was fine

Beautiful rooms, very nice restaurants.

Some of the staff in the roof top restaurant could be more friendly. We had a lovely waitress but the men seemed a bit grumpy until we ordered an expensive bottle of wine. We were returning from a seven day hut to hut hike and didn’t have super fancy clothes to wear, but we tried to look our best. I think the men assumed we didn’t belong. I can assure you, that was not the case.

I can't say enough positive comments about this property. It is over the top beautiful and in a wonderful location. The staff,without exception,was so welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to help us at every turn. The breakfast was beautifully displayed and the selection was one of the largest we've seen. Whatever you enjoy you could find. The service at the restaurants and bar was outstanding. The stunning room overlooked the town and had a balcony. The bed and bath linens were very high quality.

We loved everything about this property.

Super clean and brilliant location right in the centre of Berchtesgaden. Excellent breakfast buffet with good quality food. The spa area is area is on the top floors with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and is a very relaxing place to be.

The room was very warm and difficult to cool down . I had to keep the window open.
