From the moment we arrived, Mr. Juan went above and beyond to ensure our one-day stay was nothing short of magical. His attention to detail, genuine kindness, and unparalleled ability to anticipate our needs transformed our visit into a memory we will cherish forever. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work and does it with such grace and care. Mr.Juan is a true credit to this hotel, and his service was a defining element of what made this the most memorable hotel experience of my life. Also ,During our visit to the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, we had the privilege of being served by a truly outstanding young waiter whose professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression on us. From the moment we sat down, his attentiveness, warm demeanor, and genuine passion for hospitality were evident. He not only made excellent recommendations but also took the time to ensure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated to creating a memorable evening, and he did just that with ease and grace. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our meal so special. On our recent trip to Germany & Austria, stopped for a couple of days in Salzburg. As we were travelling by train , decided on staying at the Imlauer Hotel Pitter for the location as well as great reviews. The hotel didn’t disappoint, had a great experience while checking in and were offered in upgrade to a suite for a nominal amount, it was totally worth it ! Great staff, friendly, knowledgeable and with big smiles . The suite was well appointed, great view as well as a big washroom with dual sinks ! Each part of the hotel has been designed exceptionally well including integrating the storied Pitter restaurant . Definitely a place to stay while in Salzburg.

Superb breakfast, glorious views from the restaurant and bar. Gorgeous and beautifully decorated room, great staff at the restaurant and on reception. Very prompt delivery of any requests to the room. Loved the top floor sauna attached to the gym area. We intended to eat dinner on one night of our 8 night stay but went on 3 nights. It was superb, and at a reasonable price for that level of cuisine. The Pitter Imlauer is very well located for all the main sights and close to bus and train connections... The transport system is brilliant especially if you buy a Salzburg Card.

Convenient location; a few tram stops to Salzburg Train Station, walking distance to Mirabell Gardens and gathering place of the Salzburg Panorama Tours (for Sound of Music and Eagle's Nest tours). Room was comfortable and spacious (enough for us to open 2 medium sized luggages and 1 small luggage). We were met with rainy weather during our stay but could borrow umbrellas with ease. We also managed to book a hotel car for a last minute wet weather outing to the salt mine with much help from the concierge. Special thanks to Michael who attended to us during our check-in, and recommended some places of interest to us. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in Salzburg!

I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip to Salzburg and really appreciated its central location — it was right in the middle of the city, making it easy to explore both the old town and newer parts on foot. The hotel offered porter service, which made arrival and departure smooth, especially with luggage. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Even cleaned the room in the evening on our request. Plenty of staff at the front desk for check-in (although they require to register every individual in their system which make take some time). The rooftop restaurant is a nice place to chill in the evening.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Imlauer and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. Despite our busy work schedule that didn’t allow for breakfast, we managed to dine twice at the Skybar, and it was a delightful experience each time. The staff across the board were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and kind. Their consistent willingness to assist and their warm demeanor truly stood out. The Imlauer is in a fantastic location, which added to our convenience. The service provided was top-notch, and the overall quality of the hotel is impeccable. I highly recommend the Imlauer for its excellent service, prime location, and the overall wonderful experience it offers. There was absolutely no disappointment at all.

We had a wonderful week at the Imlauer Pitter. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, with room service and Netflix available. We really appreciated being able to lie in and take the A La Carte breakfast option. We also had dinner at the Sky Bar for several nights and the food was fantastic. We struggled to find a restaurant in Salzburg which matched this quality. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing, high quality stay.

The only negative we could give is that the hotel was very hot, and the air conditioning didn’t work (possibly turned off for winter?). We opened the window in our room during the day but the noise from the traffic outside was very loud. So at night we had to chose between being it being too hot or too noisy. But that was a minor problem compared to all the excellent points about the hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I would like to comment how pleased I was with the service provided by the staff at this wonderful hotel! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is conveniently located for all the main tourist attractions of Salzburg. And the best part is the beautiful view of the old town, including Festung Hohensalzburg, from the hotel window! (The night view is even more special.) I was also very satisfied with the welcome champagne at the rooftop bar and the free minibar in the room. I want to stay at this hotel for our next trip to Salzburg.

Breakfast is pretty good. They have variety of foods for the buffet. Location wise is very convenient as you could reach the nearest bus stop within a 5 minutes walk. Or if you would like to enjoy the street view, you can choose to walk around. The overall decoration and interior of this hotel is very new, bright and clean. Staffs are all friendly.

The only thing that i dislike is there is a bar just right opposite my room's balcony. It is very lively, you can hear them singing and cheering until late night, this would be a problem for me to fall asleep.

The room was a good size. The Breakfast was good. The location a little out of town.

The Room we were given by this Hotel. It was not what we ordered. The Room looked into the back of the Hotel and Apartments. We did not come all the way from New Zealand to look at that view. Found the staff not that pleasant to deal with. They did send as a fruit platter to our room - But that is not a view. The Restaurant on the premises was only for Asian Bus Tours and they did not care re Hotel guests. The food was terrible. Would not stay again next year. Extremely disappointing stay.
