The bed and pillow were perhaps the most comfortable I have ever encountered, truly exceptional. The pillow and comforter were down filled! And the provided extras, a variety of Twinning's tea, coffee, oatmeal, were most unexpected. The place as the most relaxing vibe, just totally peaceful. I slept like a baby, which I almost never do. And I parked my motorcycle right outside my window, so I can keep an eye on it, though in this area I don't think I had anything to worry about. Still, it was expensive and it is new and........The Lorca also has a fire pit, with provided wood, and gas grills, lots of Adirondack chairs, including right outside my door. And a little table too. And they have a screened in very large area for dining after grilling. Very, very nice.

I had been riding a motorcycle thru the Adirondacks for 6 hours and it was a hot day and I was looking forward to some air conditioning. I was a bit shocked to see that there was no AC at this motel (not all places have it in the Adirondacks). But there were double hung windows in the front and a large window in the back and a rotating fan is provided. By evening it got cool and all worries disappeared. So not a big deal after all. However, the shower: The shower dribbled water like a watering can, only not as well. And after several minutes it got slightly above lukewarm. I did eventually get clean and rinsed but it was the most pathetic shower ever.

The location is centrally located to Indian Lake (both the town and the marina). It's remote enough to feel very secluded, but close enough to town to not be inconvenient if you have to grab supplies or want to go out to dinner. It's a fun property with outside areas and lawn games to enjoy. We rented the main cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook or grill our own meals. The house was very clean. There is a marina within walking distance where you can rent a boat to enjoy for the day. The price was very reasonable for a two bedroom home.

The pool was closed. :( It is a few miles to the nearest beach so I would have liked to use the pool as well. It was a little confusing to know where we could go swim, but we got the scoop from some locals on where to go. The linens and pillows could use an upgrade. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Nice location and nice grounds, cozy room. The inside of the room looked exactly like in the pictures. Didn't have time to make use of the bonfire area, but it looked nice and welcoming, with ample firewood free for use. Coffee, hot chocolate, and oatmeal packets (and the means to prepare them) were provided in the room. Self-check in/out is easy (but do read the check in instructions ahead of time, as there is very little phone signal in the immediate vicinity).

The air in the room was rather dusty (shining a flashlight upwards in the dark showed just how much).

The room was nice and comfortable. The shampoo smelled nice and the shower worked well, which was good after a long mountain hike. The beds were also clean and comfortable.

There was no air conditioning. There was no overhead light in the room, but I think that was to add to the cabin-like vibe of the room. I didn't mind it since I just wanted to sleep but my son complained a bit. There were smaller lights provided, though. And it was nice and cool up in the mountain area so the provided fan worked just fine. Though, if it had been a much hotter day, the lack of air conditioning may have been frustrating. Though, now that I think about it, there was a small machine in the corner of the room. That may have been a small air conditioner but it was too dark in the room and I was too exhausted and tired to check so I passed out without it.

Motel updated in recent years. A little dusty but very clean otherwise. Self check in was a new process for us, but understandable given high costs to operate motels. Process worked well.

The room heater had been left on prior to our arrival, and when we opened the door, we were greeted with a burst of 82+ degree room temperature. As cell service is not great in this region, we needed to drive a few miles to report the problem to management. The manager met us at the motel and gave us a different room.

The motel was very clean and comfortable. The room felt very welcoming to walk into. It's got a cute area with a pool, grill, and fire pits. They also provide extra blankets; coffee; both a coffee and tea pot; and shampoo, soap, and lotion. The decor felt very appropriate for the Adirondacks. Being close to Indian Lake, the location is also ideal for trips to Speculator, Indian Lake, and the Blue Mountain lake area and there are great hikes less than 3 minutes from the motel!

There isn't any real lake/beach access without jumping in a car (this wasn't super important to me in the fall, but could be less ideal in the summer). You also get one key, which could be challenging if you have a couple of people doing different things. The door is also set to lock behind you (unless you unlock it) and there's no office so you have to call someone if you get locked out. The moral: keep your key and phone with you when you leave the room :)

The location was perfect and the room was so cute. Everything felt clean and cozy. With no cell service, it felt like a romantic trip off the grid and made it easy to relax. We loved the level of consideration with the sound machine and reading materials.

We had just come from a hike and were looking forward to a shower, but the water was freezing. Unfortunately, the fridge did not work either.

It was clean and cozy, updated, and in a beautiful location. The property management was friendly by email and eager to help. Parking was close, and lockbox entry made it easy for checking in.

Would have liked a TV for entertainment. We were there for work, so we really didn't have the luxury of having time to go out and about to keep ourselves busy. A microwave also would have been nice to have.

Loved the rustic cabin type of feel, communal fire pits and grills with wood, utensils, sink provided.

It was totally fine for us for a couple of days but the room and bathroom are very small for four people. It’s a great place for travelers who are just looking for a clean spot to sleep and planning to spend most of the time exploring the area or relaxing in the outside spaces.

Location is very quaint, with a nice fireplace area in the back.

Walls are pretty thin, people from next room started loading 7am.I could hear everything. Also no AC. Luckily that evening was not too hot.
