Great little lodge just round the corner from the ski resort. The room had a double bed and bunk beds for kids. It was self check-in so didn’t meet the staff in person but they were friendly and helpful in our interactions online. The bar on site was busy but fun for our after ski entertainment. There were plenty of restaurants a short drive away. For breakfast, there is nowhere on site so we brought our own with us. There was a coffee machine, microwave and fridge in the room so this worked fine. We enjoyed our stay and are likely to re-book next year.

The only negative was that the bathroom was a bit dated. Just to note, the night we stayed snowed heavily and there was a huge line of traffic to get to the ski resort the next day and it was hard to pull into even though we were out reasonably early. I recommend getting up and out early if you want to be on the slopes for a reasonable time!

I liked that it was easy to check in and that the property had a tavern and Yurts on the grounds . Also the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of towels, wash cloths and hand towels .

They need to change their shower liner, it had some mold and the room smelled musty . Also the rug can use a shampoo .

It was convenient comfortable and nice We wished we could have been there over the weekend to enjoy the band and the restaurant on the property. Next time we will stay on a weekend. I even saw a family of dear out the back window early in the morning.

We had a big spider in our room in a big web maybe it wouldn’t have been there if they cleaned better but then again I don’t know how long it takes for spiders to make big webs but it was there from the beginning!!! eek!!! I don’t like spiders at all!!! Everything else was good

This is a clean, comfortable lodge. The family enjoyed our stay. My kids are use to Marriott and higher resorts, but they fell in and enjoyed their time. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the Yurt and fire.

Check-in was on-line and super-easy. Arrived at 8 PM, and went right to our room. The room was super comfortable, clean, and “home-y”. The gratis sparkling water and Swedish fish were a nice touch! I think the owners went to more than average length to make their guests feel at home…and I think it worked. We got back from star gazing above Indian Lake around midnight, and got to enjoy sitting around the fire pit for 15 or 20 minutes. Will definitely use the Gore Mountain Lodge again for overnight stargazing trips!

Not a thing!

Our room was quite clean and comfortable, and I have to give them kudos for providing TWO large and very comfortable reclining chairs in our room! (A pet peeve of mine is that most hotels only provide ONE chair per room!) and the throws were quite cosy. All of the hooks and places to dry our boots, gloves, and jackets were well thought out and greatly appreciated. We also found the rags provided to wipe down our snowy and/or muddy equipment came in handy, especially after the snow and impressive downpour that we had while we were there. We brought along our snowshoes and micro-spikes and headed onto the trails which begin right in the parking lot and end (if you properly plan your hike) at the entertainment yurt. We always make sure to enjoy dinner at Beck's Tavern, as the food never disappoints. We were lucky enough to be there on a day that Beck's was serving breakfast; it was delicious!

The yurt which is available as a living-room space was not attended to the three days we were there. On Friday evening, the trash bin was overflowing with empty wine bottles, the wood stove was cold and jammed full of partially-burned wood, and there was a general feeling of disarray. We checked back in on Sunday evening, and everything was just as it had been on Friday night. Since we had really enjoyed the yurt the last time we'd stayed at the Gore Mountain Lodge, we took it upon ourselves to straighten up, sweep up the scattered debris and ashes from around the wood stove, empty the wood stove and get a fire started to warm up the space. So, we only got to enjoy the living-room yurt one of the three evenings we were there.

The room was nice. Bed and bedding comfortable. We went to Becks for dinner and had a beer in the yurt and listened to music. Check in and out was very easy

There was no breakfast. The location was close to our scheduled whitewater rafting outing. The owner was very nice and friendly.

No complaints.

Perfect location to ski Gore Mountain. The fact that you park right outside your room was helpful and reassuring with all the ski stuff in the car. The pub at Gore Mt Lodge was great, although only open one of our two nights due to staffing issues. I believe the owners are bringing new life to this place.

The rooms are not meant for those looking for a plush hotel experience. The bathroom was serviceable but crudely finished. After getting used to the primitive vibe of the room, it was fine.

Spacey and nicely decorated room in a cool setting with the BECKSTavern and a bar in a yurt. Coming from Europe we were surprised that it was so quiet in August. In Europe such an accommodation would have been completely sold out.

No breakfast option on site, but alternative options were suggested by the host.
