The proprietor Nana Erika and her granddaughter Brittany were very friendly and helpful. I felt like I was staying with my own grandmother. The room was very large, airy and comfortable. Although a little dated, I was very pleased with the room. Nana had hot drinks (coffee tea) and coffee cake for all of the residents. This was an unexpected nice touch.

The mattresses should be replaced and the exterior needs to be spruced up. If one doesn't judge the place by its cover then you will be pleased.

This was a very reasonable 8 room motel. Nice to know some places still think it’s appropriate to clean every day! It was great time of year to be there with the leaves changing color. Close to other towns to drive around and look for quaint shops. Nice local diner North Country Diner nearby for a great breakfast with thick rimmed diner mugs and coffee. The rooms are a flashback with the knotty pine and older furniture but they were very, very clean. The family is very nice and accommodating. There is a lake view; a little deck and it which was pretty from the room and the rooms are a good size. Nice and quiet for sleeping and I couldn’t hear people in other rooms. Coming to the Adirondacks is always a relaxing experience and coming for a reasonable price supporting a family business makes it that much better .

Not anything I can think of that upset me staying here.

Owners are nice. Next to Loon Lake. Some nice short hikes in area, with more research, probably can find some more challenging hikes. Room was large. Two beds. Decent bathroom. Refrigerator. Owner has coffee and donuts or cakes in morning—thanks! Hot water for tea. Parking right outside room. Sitting area on deck behind room with nice view of grounds, dock and a bit of the lake. A picnic table or two and a big shade tree. Maybe a grill. If you have a kayak, might be access to the lake—ask the owners. It was a bit rainy while we were there, but for a couple or small family, this place has potential for some fun.

No microwave or coffee making ability in room. Price was highest we paid on 10 day New England trip, but for the area, it’s one of the most affordable options. Not a lot of food options in immediate area.

Beautiful stunning large rooms! Bed were super comfortable and bathroom spotless! No staff is around they do everything via text. You must bring your own food because there is no restaurant or Cafe on premise.

There was no staff around at all. If there was an emergency we would have been in trouble.

Everything was so great the owners awesome friendly. I went out for the day and came back and they took care of my room. That was very nice I love the view of the lake. Not sure when I will ne in the area again but I plan on staying there again I travel alot and this is one of my new favorite places.

Everything and the owners are so awesome I can't think of anything that I did not like.

I’ve never been in this place but customer service was really amazing : I’ve sent Matt a message to let him know I won’t be able to make it ; on his own, he proposed me a refund (while he wasn’t forced of !) ; this kind of attention make me think we gonna be back for sure to meet them and enjoy their experiment !

Newly updated. View of the lake was great. Had a nice deck. The owner was very attentive to my needs. Very clean.

Beginning so new the room wasn’t fully furnished. The owner address this and is in the process of getting them furnished.

The rooms were large. The motel is on a quiet road & reflects the old charm of the Adirondacks. The owner was friendly & recommended two good restaurants nearby. Location had easy access to nearest superhighway.

I liked the property very much. A traveler looking for a chain hotel should go to Lake George.

The hospitality provided far exceeded any expectations short falls. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the surrounding area and their beautiful property. Morning coffee and homemade cakes enhanced the experience. Support bar mitigated any safety concerns entering or exiting the tub,

The new owner is very friendly. He is already updating this hotel that was formerly Conway. The location on the lake is great. It’s also near the state boat launch. The town beach is a short walk, but not open in September.
