The location is right near the South Pier, but you don't get disturbed by the nightlife. The Hilbre is a fantastic family friendly B&B. They had games that we could borrow as well as buckets and spades we could take to the beach! They had a pool table which our teenage son really liked! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were happy to accommodate any requests that even the little ones had about their food! All the staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We booked a family room for 5, which included myself, my husband, our 5 and 6 year olds and our 14 year old. The room was really nice. There was a double, a single and bunk beds, yet we still had plenty of room to move about. We will definitely be returning to the Hilbre!

The hotel was very comfortable ,clean and well equipped. Simon and Roz were fabulous hosts and made us very welcome. We were close to South pier and was easy access to trams. Breakfast was delicious and good choice would definitely recommend

Everything me and my son stayed there and from the moment we stepped in there Simon and Bev were so welcoming nothing was too much trouble the atmosphere was great aswell because its a family hotel no rowdy guests lovely and peaceful the rooms were very clean and comfortable everything was there and the plus side is that if its raining then you don't need to leave the hotel because they have something for all the family to do and the breakfasts were very tasty an excellent selection also a very well stocked bar and its only 2 mins from the pleasure Beach the location is great and if you arrive by car if you let them know they will sort it so you are able to park outside the hotel which is great nothing was too much trouble lovely couple if I could give them more than 5* I would 🤩

Nothing everything was excellent

Location was great , right opposite South pier, the owners of the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating, they parked my car , and did breakfast early for us as our girls were there for a dance competition which started early , the room was a good size for 5 of us , plenty of space , comfy beds, clean room , There was a bar and pool room which we enjoyed at the end of the night and the girls had a game of pool , we really enjoyed our stay and if going again would definitely be staying there

Only thing we would say is that early in the morning there was no hot water so the girls couldn't shower before the competition but we managed and wouldn't complain

I stayed for two nights in a single room. The room was a perfect size with a double bed and a private toilet and shower room. The room was very tidy and clean with everything I needed provided during my stay. Including, iron and ironing bored and a fan which became very handy. I had a kettle and all things needed to make myself a cup of tea or coffee stocked in my room which was great. I managed to park at the rear of the property in their private parking spaces at no cost. I was unable to sample their breakfast but going off what other visitors were saying I missed out, it smelt delicious! They have a games room with a pool table and also a private bar on site. The hotel had a really friendly atmosphere and the owners were very welcoming and happy to help with any information I needed. The room I stayed in was at the front of the hotel on the first floor. That being said, I experienced no disturbance. The toilet and shower were very clean and of high quality. I would visit again just for the shower alone. The double bed was very comfortable with extra pillows available if needed. I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you very much for a much needed relaxed experience.

I'm not sure what the situation is with WiFi, if they have it or not. This would've been good as I suffered with little to no signal. This was a problem from my service provider and nothing at all do to with the location of the hotel.

Rosine and Simon were awesome hosts! So welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Saved car parks and lock up parks for us. The bar and lounge were comfy and a wide array of drinks available. What we didn’t know was that the cooked breakfast daily was included in the room price so made it even better value for money. First impressions were very positive. The curtilage was well presented , the building exterior well maintained and the location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was superb. Well laid out and very clean and tidy. The room had plenty of things like tea, sugar and coffee and the television was a good size with a very watchable quality of picture. The on suite was well kept, clean and well stocked with towels , mats and toilet roll. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was well cooked and well presented. The facilities were excellent too, from a lounge bar to a large screen tv and a pool table. Ros also makes a mean MOCKTAIL. All things considered, our experience was first class and that ensured that our stay was most enjoyable and we will most definitely go back again 10/10

Having to leave.

This is the first family trip we've taken to Blackpool and it won't be the last. Simon couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The BnB is perfect for families who want somewhere quiet, safe and clean to stay. Not to mention the delicious breakfast which is taken to order each morning, plus dietary options for our daughter who doesn't drink cows milk. The rooms a very comfortable and there's plenty of space for the four of us (2 adults, 2 children). Simon helped us with charging our electric car too, so no excuses for those who need charging points. We can't wait to come back.

I can't fault anything. It was the perfect stay.

Simon and Roz are both super friendly, it's just like staying with family or friends Rooms are spotless and breakfast is 10/10 with no problems meeting 4 different variations of breakfast. Visit Blackpool every other year, 10 years ago stayed here, every other time due to their high standards its always been fully booked, but got lucky this year, will be back for sure, Simon is like a mate you haven't seen for a while, had a great ctach up in the bar on our last night staying in this wonderful B&B. To be running the same B&B for 21 years when the country has been through so much just proves that they are doing something right. Everything was 10/10.

Nothing needed to improve, in all honesty 10/10 across every aspect of this B&B

Simon & Roz were really welcoming and easy to chat to there was a nice bar downstairs and games room for kids. They recommend places to go and where to get good food. The room was really nice and big even with 5 of us in it. It was a chilled relaxed family place and I hope I can persuade the Mrs to go back next year.

Everything was spot on there was nothing I did not like about the place the only thing my daughter didn't like was there was no bath in room but she finally had her 1st ever shower (fear of shower) and loved it
