Price. CLEAN. Staff Location. Room comfy. . I'd hurt my ankle before I checked in doing shopping . I have mobility problems anyway. They upgraded us FOC to triple room on the first floor near the lift . I had great difficulty getting around but thanks to their kindness I got a good sleep and had plenty space to get about.in.internet was strong . Television and channels excellent. Tram stop at bottom of road plenty eating places and convenience shops. Nothing was too much trouble for the tall thin lad . He was very attentive and helpful. Beautiful and comfy garden to sit in with plenty of seats and a couch with tables. Sitting in the sun people watching was a pleasure .struck a few conversations with neighbour's. I tend to go on if things are not what I expect. FOR THE PRICE I PAID I CERTAINLY RECEIVED MORE. MY TOILET FLUSHER WAS IFFY BUT MANAGED THE 4 DAYS .

I received a phone call the night before our stay to confirm our arrival time. The call was from a different hotel and a London phone number which confused me. I then received a second call the evening we arrived to check that we were happy with the hotel and how we had been greeted etc. The location is 5 minutes from South Pier, the Pleasure Beach and tram/bus stops. The rooms are basic but very clean. The shower was fantastic. There is a lift to all floors. The bed linen was spotless and the towels looked new. Staff are friendly and helpful. This property does not serve breakfast - I want aware of that but it was my fault for not reading the listing properly. There is a Wetherspoons round the corner on the promenade and a large cafe on the same street as the hotel.

The bed was very soft. Some people prefer a soft mattress. I prefer a firmer one. It was only for 2 nights. A minor issue is that the TV only tuned into ITV but we only had it on in the background whilst getting ready in a morning /coming in at night. .

Great location, close to many of the main attractions, polite staff who are happy to help! We were made to feel at home and no complaints about noisy kids which is a bonus. We would love to stay here again. Bathroom a little small but perfect for what you need for a few days in Blackpool. View of Blackpool tower from our window which was nice.

Not much parking around the property other than paying in the council car parks but the hotel offered me a space at the back of the property for a small fee which I was very happy with, very grateful and made things easier for the trip.

Very well priced hotel for a budget weekend getaway. Although a budget price the hotel was to good standard, decent rooms, clean which for me is always important as I want to be somewhere clean and not dirty and comfy beds. Nice little bar area down stairs they don't serve drinks currently but they were accommodating to bring your own in and was nice to sit outside on a georgoeus weekend weather wise and have a few of our cans. Location is pretty good if you prefer the south end which I do as quieter than central but yes a bit of a walk if you want the tower end but not a big deal to us, we enjoyed a lengthy stroll up the front and there are always cheap enough trams and buses so yeah no problem really. Nice friendly staff and decent views from our room overlooking the pleasure beach and even a glimpse of the sea! Would defo consider staying here again for a comfortable cheaper and cheerful stay in Blackpool. Nice to know you can stay there without breaking the bank as we are all in hard times these days and it helps when things are tight but you still want a break away.

Good location fab staff clean and warm room with everything needed

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved the old school aesthetic and amenities.

One night I found it difficult to get the front door open to get inside and was in a bit of a panic as no one was around. Eventually another guest came out and explained the door can be quite stiff. A warning of that would be helpful.

Lovely hotel and so close to the pleasure beach which was so convenient, as we were let down at the last minute by our previous hotel so was so happy with the availability at such short notice.

The mattress was not very comfortable do didnt sleep much and the material under the kettle needed changing, and a small fridge would have been very convenient with having children with us.

As we came into the reception what a beautiful sight to see all over was filled with Christmas fairy lights and tinsel and more. I will never forget it.i only wished I had some children so they to could enjoy the happiness of it all.Keep it up St Elmo Hotel and give yourselves a BIG TAP ON YOUR BACK and thank you for a lovely stay and memories. The staff made me so welcome especially Rocky. The place was clean comfortable and quite quiet, I had a great nights sleep and woke feeling fresh.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel/staff. The only thing was there was an electricity problem so the room had no power for a couple of hours but Rocky couldn't be more helpful and couldn't apologise enough even though it obviously not his fault and he got an electrician out to sort it as soon as he could.

Location was ideal for the south pier, ideal for a brill cafe round the corner and other local amenities

The mattresses on the beds were a little uncomfortable due to one half of the base not being level with the other half, aside from that and the bathroom door not shutting properly, everything else was good. WiFi wasn't the best but we weren't in the room often enough for it to be that big of a deal
