The staff were friendly and polite. Nothing was too much of a problem for them. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The room was a good size. There was free toiletries and coffee and tea etc. Leigh and Sue are knowledgeable about the area with information about the trans, buses, restaurants. The rooms are themed. There are restaurants, bars, trams and bus stops nearby. Also the hotel is close to the Pleasure beach and north pier. The hotel provides for dietary requirements.

We were on the top floor and there was no lift. We would have preferred to be in a lower floor The room can feel hot and would prefer a fan in the room

Absolutely love it here. Best hotel in blackpool. Wish they wasn't so booked up as would have loved to have stayed longer. I can only manage to get 4 nights and that's in advance. Sue and Leigh are lovely. They always make you feel at home. I love how they make a fuss of my son. He loves coming to stay here. His favourite room is the tram room. It's close to the beach and attractions. Nice and quiet in the south shore where they are. Was very interesting listening to the history of the building. Looking forward to our next stay.

There is nothing I didn't like.

I was greeted by the owners who are lovely and were very accomodating of my late arrival / the last minute changes to my plans. I was lucky enough to get a parking spot behind the B&B which really helped on a busy Blackpool weekend! The room was very clean and as I was at the back of the property, very quiet. The B&B is a literal stones throw from the beach so it's a refreshing walk down the prom into central Blackpool, otherwise South Pier and The Pleasure Beach are right there on your doorstep. I would happily stay at Morrisy House again on my next visit to Blackpool!

as soon as we arrived sue and Lee were so welcoming me and my little boy settled in straight away ❤️ we had a lovely room clean and had everything we needed , I am not the best at sleeping but me and my little boy had the best bed you would ask for exelant . my little boy misses it already 😭 the b&b should be called DREAMS lol great location for everything and we will definitely be back thankyou so much Lee and sue me and callum loved were stay ❤️

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They offered us an upgrade to a bigger room at no extra cost. But we wanted the smaller room because it was only up one flight of stairs. My partner is disabled the first fight of stairs was enough for her.

Everything was almost perfect. We arrived at on the Monday afternoon had coffee in our room that evening. On the wall was a list of instructions. It said in so many words they come into each room every day to replenish the room. Our first full day, the Tuesday they didn't come in so our 2 cups were not changed for clean ones. I was angry we had to wash them out in the sink in the loo and dry them with loo role. The second full day. Wednesday they did come in the room and change the cups for clean ones. This was the only fault that let them down.

We arrived and were greeted by the lovely owners Leigh and Sue, First time staying here and we were not disappointed. Hotel was nice and clean with a warm welcoming atmosphere, we booked two rooms 2 and 9 and both were clean and tidy with everything needed for a stay. Free WiFi is available but we did not use it so cannot comment on speed etc location is great close enough for all Blackpool has to offer but just off the main strip so nice and quiet on a night. We booked room only so no feedback on breakfast but on day of checkout I popped into the dining room so say our goodbyes and the food did smell very nice so think we missed out. All in all a little gem well worth a visit and we will be back. Thanks for a lovely weekend

Like a home from home. Owners Sue and Leigh were fantastic from beginning to end. Lots of tips of how to get around and attractions to visit.Leigh was a knowledgeable football fan so me and him has great chats. Breakfast was amazing and great value for money at £6 per person per night, range of cereals, toast and a cooked breakfast. Room had plenty of space for a couple with good ensuite. Was fresh and clean. Location perfect. 1 min walk from South Pier and beach. 5 min walk from Pleasure beach. If you are not able to walk far the tram stop is 2 min walk away which takes you all the way along the promenade. Would highly recommend and definitely return next year.

Nothing negative to say about the hotel. If I could give more than 10 out of 10 I would.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Me and my partner came from the 27th June- July 1st and it couldn’t have been better. Payed £191 for the 4 nights and the facilities were clean, the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee available and also shower gels in the bathroom. We had housekeeping every other day which was an added bonus. The owners were lovely, and told us about many places we could visit in Blackpool. They were there whenever we needed them and felt very safe within the hotel. For the price we paid it couldn’t have been better and we will definitely return on our next visit to Blackpool.

Met at the door by the lovely owners and made to feel totally welcome. We had our room upgraded which was unexpected and most welcome. Room 5 was really nice; beds where comfy, and a nice through breeze was possible. Tea and coffee making stuff in the room, and a TV. Shower was decently powerful. Breakfast was extensive, with continental or cooked options- worth paying for. Hosts where happy to indulge requests. Hotel in superb location with the Pleasure Beach a short walk away, Trams and Buses close. Velvet Coaster pub also in staggering distance. Really recommended.

Could have done with a big mug for tea instead of the small cups, but to be fair I never asked for one! Seemed like a gamble if to move the car due to the on-road parking, but with the trams/buses/walking distances it was not required anyway.

This was a return visit for us to Morrisy house and we brought more friends along as we loved it so much on previous visit , we love how welcoming Sue and Leigh are , they even remembered us from our last stay which was so nice , the kids love the rooms as they all have a wee theme and they always learn something different , it’s right next to south pier so it’s an ideal location , we were only a short walk to the in door water park which is a must if you are thinking of going we recommend it :) , we will defo be back to morrisy house in future that’s for sure and if your thinking of booking don’t second guess it’s great value and so friendly .
