As a small hotel in Blackpool you can only expect so much. But in this case i think the owners nailed it. Besides being really nice down to earth, people, they were also very helpful. The husband even parked our car around the back where it was more safe secure, giving myself and my girlfriend peace of mind. The location couldn't of been better, having the Pleasure Beach and Sand Castle around the corner as well as having a Wetherspoons about a 30 sec walk away. The ensuite was basic, but it did the job and was clean and tidy. All in all and for the price i would definitely recommend the Marsden Hotel for future Blackpool goers. Thanks again.

Quaint nostalgic Blackpool style accomodation but with a modern twist stone throw away from the pleasure beach and sandcastle water park/south shore. This was extremely handy for heading back halfway through the day with our young son for downtime/freshen up after being in the July sun.Short walk to trams. Albert loved his bunkbeds the family room was like mini suite bathroom with rainfall shower very modern TV in both rooms Beautiful communal front room with a big tv and bar was able to socialise with some other guests.fresh scents being circulated Breakfast cooked to perfection From start to finish were treated like royalty

Theres not a thing I could fault

Just returned from a weekend in Blackpool with friends. We all stayed at The Marsden and had a lovely weekend. Leon and Christine are amazing, really friendly and welcoming. The hotel has everything you need and, with breakfast and private parking included, is great value for money. It's ideally situated for the pleasure beach and south pier and the trams are really easy and run frequently if you fancy venturing out a bit further. We all agreed that we'd definitely return to The Marsden if/when we venture to Blackpool again. Many thanks to Leon and Christine

Brilliant stay with my partner and little girl. Christine & Leon were very warm and welcoming. Our room was number 9, family room. Very clean, the most amazingly comfortable mattress & nice hot showers! The hotel is perfectly located, with a 10min walk from Blackpool south train station. Pleasure Beach, sandcastles water park & south pier all within 5mins of each other from the hotel. After a long day, the hotel has a comfortable lounge area where you can sit and watch TV and wind down before returning to your room. Breakfast is served in the mornings- all inclusive 😋 very tasty fried breakfast, cereals & toast. They even catered to our fussy 6 years old ! Overall 10/10 stay and I would highly recommend booking your stay here whether you're a family, couple or single traveller. We will see you next year! X

Nothing! Our stay was lovely.

Leon and Christine were exceptional hosts, they were welcoming and told me everything I needed to know upon arrival. My room was everything I could have needed for a night in Blackpool, it had a comfy bed, and an en-suite. Everything was clean, and comfortable and it was located in an excellent location close to pleasure beach and a short tram ride/walk to the Tower and Central Pier. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, served so quickly and had been cooked hot and fresh!

For the price, there is honestly not much I would say needs improvement! The bed was firmer than my own so that took a bit of getting used to, but apart from that, I enjoyed my stay!

Very welcoming staff, excellent location only a minute from the promenade, public transport and Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort. On-site and free parking. Room exactly as described on Booking.com and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included and price and was a cold buffet followed by your choice of hot plated breakfast items from an extensive list. Portion size can only be described as perfect! We both left the breakfast room entirety satisfied. Tea and coffee in mugs, just like at home - not pretentious tiny teacups and saucers which need to be filled 3 times!

Everything was just fine for us, exceeded our expectations.

We arrived early, and I parked the car at the back of the property, then made our way to the front of the property, we were greeted as though we were family, very nice. We had a room with a double bed and a single bed, TV, shower, and beverage facilities Breakfast was wonderful, full English pluss cereals. Very clean and fresh, I would book to stay again. The property is just off the front with a 3 minute walk to tram or bus. Next door to plesureland, seaworld, and a wonderful casino.

Rain.

Leon and Christine were really brilliant hosts and very friendly helpful and professional the minute we arrived Leon helped us showing where to park parking right in the back of the hotel. The hotel was clean and tidy. The beds were really comfortable and clean. The bathroom in the room was really clean and tidy and the shower was really good. The breakfast in the morning is really good plenty to choose from full cooked breakfast or what you would like and plenty of cereal to choose from and tea and coffee too. Thanks Leon and Christine 🙂

Nothing not to like everything perfect
