The location near the Beach in Maui is unbeatable. When we arrived, the air conditioner was in disarray and the bed was pulled out. Fortunately, the next morning the maintenance staff (very friendly and efficient) quickly put everything back together. The studio room is not large, but the views are wonderful. We tried to get one of the ocean-facing rooms and even though we had two separate reservations (one through Booking and another through RCI) the front desk person (who is only available from 9am to 5pm) insisted that 401 was the only room available. That was the most disappointing thing about the entire stay. We made the most of it and loved snorkeling in the area. The Sea House Restaurant is a short drive and is excellent. We saw many turtles swimming near the rocks just south of the resort.

The ocean view from the room was wonderful! The studio itself was very convenient and for a family of 3.Very close to the beaches and other activities in west Maui. We spotted a lot of turtles and seals in the beach and loved taking a walk there. Definitely recommend this for peaceful vacation.

Loved hearing the ocean all night long. We slept so good. It’s not on the Hyway, but close enough to be convenient. Local beach is nice and the sunset view is unmatched.

Our bed was hard as a rock. But, hearing the waves and being exhausted meant we slept fine anyway.

Best stay of the trip! I traveled to Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island, and the Kahana Hotel was the best hotel we stayed at. 1. The room is very large and comfortable. 2. You can cook in the room because they provide everything you need. 3. It's close to restaurants and markets. 4. There's plenty of parking. 5. The beach is right in front. 6. They offer barbecue facilities for guests and comfortable chairs for watching the sunset.

Our bedroom door needed maintenance because you had to slam it shut and lock it to get it fully closed.

We've stayed at the Kahana Beach Resort several times, and always enjoy our stay. The location can't be beat. It's right on the ocean on a beautiful beach (Kahana Beach), great for boogie boarding, snorkeling, floating in the waves, basking in the sand, you name it. Wonderful accommodations, brand new beds that were super comfortable, even the new mattresses in the sofa beds were exceptionally comfortable. Loved having the kitchen area. All the rooms have ocean or partial ocean view, which is simply amazing! Often saw turtles from our balcony swimming in the water, and gorgeous sunsets every night. The pool and huge hot tub are also fantastic!

Great value for money. Ocean view room and a few steps away to access the sandy beach and snorkel. We loved it. The staff and the onsite concierge staff were very friendly. We got the corner room, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows facing the ocean, allowing us to hear the waves crashing and fresh air blowing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property

Parking: If you arrive late at night, you may have to park in their sister property, which is just a few steps away.

Honestly cannot recommend this place enough, we loved staying here! I stayed with my family and the fold out sofa was comfortable and the space had plenty of room with it folded out which we did the whole time we were there. The room was huge and the balcony views were stunning overlooking the beach, the kitchenette facilities were great too. In a fantastic location, about an hour drive away from the airport. The beach being right outside the hotel was amazing and the pool and spa were fantastic too! The staff were so lovely with any questions with had and the concierge lady was also super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The views from this hotel are very nice! It’s located right in front of the sea, so you can enjoy the ocean breeze and beautiful scenery all day long. The room includes a mini kitchen, fully equipped with all the utensils and tools you need to cook whatever you like. It’s incredibly convenient and made our stay feel like home. We recommend this place for its location and amenities.

The only downside is that cleaning services are not provided during your stay if you’re staying less than a week, which could be improved.

Quiet big room, nice view on the beach and sunset in the evening, you can use the barbecues - the personnel was really nice and helpful at all times and they even let us check in 3 hours earlier.. Direct location and access to the beach, nice sunbeds and restaurants and stores are not far away by car. Would definitely book it again!

There was no oven in the appartment even though it was written in the official hotel guide. However, you get a microwave, which is nice.

Steps from the beach ⛱️. Quiet, peaceful, lots of available activities if desired. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and facilities were well maintained and clean.

Our A/C did not work as well as the other two suites we had. It was reported but beyond maintenance on-site capabilities. They followed up with getting service but was not repaired prior to our departure.
