This is a grand old villa that is mid renovation. Its a beautiful old building with loads of character. Our room was excellent and we had a large terrace to sit and watch the world ( and trains !) go by. The location is one of the best parts of this accommodation as its proximity to the station makes it a great spot for exploring other parts of the area. You can also catch the circumetnea from here as well as Taormina only being 20 mins and Catania only 25 or so minutes as well. Our favourite part was cooling off in the pool after our travels every day, and the beach is also walkable from here. Our host was welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend !

A kettle in the room would be a bonus.

We had a very nice and pleasant time in the B&B and Rosaria was very kind. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern, including a great air condition, which is cooling down the rooms without making any loud noises. The B&B is located next to a train station, what was very good for us, since we didn’t rented a car. It was easy to go to the next Cities like Catania or Taormina and even though the B&B is located next to the station, it was very quite inside the rooms! Also the garden of the B&B is beautiful and we had a great time spending our days on the sun and enjoying the pool. All in all it was everything was great and we can definitely recommend this accommodation!

Villa Maria is a great accommodation for a family with children. The villa includes a beautiful and peaceful garden and a perfect swimming pool. Very nice staff work here and our host Rosalia went out of her way to accommodate us in everything. She even baked us a lemon cake for breakfast and arranged a typical Sicilian breakfast. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Very beatiful old villa that was recently renovated. The room was spacious and well designed. Comfortable bed, big and beatiful bathroom. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay again.

Lovely old villa with modern refurbished rooms, beautiful garden and pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rosy was able to help us confirm the circumetnea service times and villa is great if you are using trains and particulary want a trip to Randazzo on the old diesel trains. We took the offer of breakfast for €5 which was well worth it, Linda made us great coffee and was keen to please, expecially catering for gluten-free and lactose-free requirements. Giarre is an pretty town off the tourist routes and has a lovely centre, overlooked by Etna, and good places to eat. Riposto less so, more of a working fishing port with lots of pizzerias, but worth a short walk. Close walking proximity to mainline station and separate circumetnea station definitely an advantage.

Only the noise of trains in the garden, but as expected when you see the location on the map.

The location was great, right next to a train station, shops and restaurants. The rooms were stunning and so is the house. The garden and pool are well kept, hope to come back soon!

The owner took great care to keep us satisifed. Nicely decorated and well-kept place, with easy access at any time. In our case, proximity to the train station was a big advantage.

Host extremely attentive and helpful, very comfortable bed and lovely bedsheets, plenty of space. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the swimming pool.
