A wonderful amazing hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The setting is overwhelming! Why only 3 stars, the hotel deserves 5.

A little bit far from the center if you don't have a car.

Loved the hotel so much we asked to stay another night. Rooms are lovely. Drinks and snacks were available in the lounge and the food in the restaurant was very good.

Almost every things except for the room space. It is too small for US travelers.

The hotel as a whole is a lovely, beautifully designed space. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. And there are many unexpected perks and amenities that made the stay even more fun, like ice cream or beer on tap in the onsen lounge, and bluetooth speakers/sound bars in the rooms. The denim indoor wear and footwear was also unique.

Could be due to insufficient research on my part but the location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, and up on a hill. No problem if arriving by car, but if you're traveling by other methods, getting there can be a bit difficult, especially considering Takamatsu doesn't appear to have many taxis available to hail on the street. Also, maybe a personal preference, but I would have liked it even more if the hot spring was not a radium hot spring. That being said, the above issues would not deter me from staying here again if in the area.
