Pension Breza is a beautifully a maintained family property that has been in the same family for many generations. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are immaculate, clean and comfortable. The food is amazing!!! The park entrance is easy from Pansion Breza. The best part are the owners. Dany is extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. She made sure we were comfortable with our lodgings, meals, suggestions about the park, and nursing my injury with ice packs. We sadly departed but know we have a new friends to return too.

There was nothing about this place to not like!

We were welcomed like we are part of the family, Nataša upgraded our room on the spot,from the regular room to the Deluxe, cleanliness is exceptional starting in the room and then the whole property! Peaceful, mountain around,forest,birds,sheep and not to forget their dog,Bobi! Best part, getting up with the smell of the fire wood kitchen stove and freshly,home made autochthon Lički uštipak, something like donuts! Dinner and breakfast, everything made by the head of the family,the mother of course 😄! It is an exceptional place to stay,rest,relax and enjoy nature,close to the entrance of the Plitvice lake, walking distance. Highly recommend it to everyone! We are coming back for sure!

The only thing we didn't like is that we didn't book more days!

Stunning location and environment. We were greeted with a warm welcome, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well decorated. Fabulous shower, very powerful. Gardens were stunning and beautifully kept. Dinner was home cooked and plentiful. We are encouraged to make a packed lunch with any uneaten breakfast items which was great. We would definitely stay here again and intend to. Close to the 'back entrance' to the Park - so convenient and easy.

Would have preferred more healthy breakfast options such as salad, tomato, muesli, boiled eggs. Would be great to have different dinner options as we loved the food but two nights of the same two main choices (grilled fish or grilled meats) was enough so ate out on the third night.

We had a fantastic stay at this property—beautiful surroundings and a prime location just minutes from one of the main entrances to Plitvice Lakes National Park. There are several hiking trails nearby, and if you arrive early enough (before 9:00–9:30 AM), there’s free roadside parking available as you approach the park. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the property has a very family-friendly feel. There are a few friendly pets around, plus swings, soccer nets, and balls to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on one of our two nights—meals are served as a fixed menu and paid in cash. My only suggestion would be to offer a small à la carte option for dinner, in case guests prefer something lighter than the full four-course meal. Our room was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and although the mini fridge wasn’t working, it wasn’t a big issue for us. One of our highlights was enjoying a bottle of wine we purchased on-site while relaxing on the outdoor furniture. The outdoor landscape was stunning, full of fresh flowers. All in all, a lovely and relaxing stay. We would absolutely come back again!

Payment for meals via credit card would have been preferred as an option.

A wonderful stay right in the heart of Plitvice National Park. It's a short walk to the entrance and a nice boat ride over to start out day of walking through the Park. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are quite comfortable. Dinner was delicious and the portions are enormous so definitely share unless you are very big eaters. Breakfast was also very generous and tasty. We appreciated the ability to make sandwiches and take fruit for our lunch in the park. That was really helpful and made our day so much easier. The homemade breakfast beignets were delicious and we enjoyed them a lot. We met very nice people and enjoyed seeing them at the park later that day.

Our host seemed overworked with a lot to do--checking guests in/out, serving breakfast & dinner, and providing tips on navigating the park is a lot for one person. It didn't create a warm/friendly environment and we (and other guests) seemed to irritate her a lot throughout our stay. We didn't take it personally but it did make the environment feel a little less vacation-y.

Pansion Breza was a fabulous stay. I reserved a room that had a separate bed for our teenager and it was perfectly comfortable and the room was spacious for all 3 of us. The surroundings and area were very relaxing and quiet. Even saw a hurd of sheep one morning on the hillside. We did not have a car, but purchased 2 day tickets online to Plitvice Lakes so we could use Entrance 3 which was about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Pansion Breza. We arrived early afternoon, checked in to our room and walked to Entrance 3 to check out half the park. The staff recommended doing the lower falls that day, and the upper falls the next day, which we did at 9:00am after breakfast. With the upper falls, we walked to Entrance 3, took the long boat across to start our upper falls trek. We did not have many tourists that morning which was serene and just beautiful. It was nice to split it up into 2 half days. We were done with the upper falls by noon and had time to have a nice lunch before our bus departed. The staff was so very nice and were able to hold our luggage while we explored the park and actually brought our luggage to the bus stop before we left. We opted for the dinner and breakfast since we didn't have a car and both were home cooked and very nicely done. The doughnuts were homemade and warm - yummy! We had a wonderful stay here - thank you!

The location was super -very peaceful and a 15 minute walk to entrance 3 of Plitvice park. The breakfast (15,- pp) was very generous and enough for lunch too (make your own sandwich). We also had dinner here both nights, really good meats and trout. The trout was the best on our two week trip. And again plenty of food. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room and the dining area are simple, but well maintained and clean. Definitely recommend!

The hotel does not offer shampoo, lotion, etc in the room, that’s not a complaint just observation

Right from check in everything was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful with everything on our stay and where to see the lakes. Rooms were great - had everything we needed, comfortable beds and a seating area. It was a bit cool when we were there, so we really appreciated the hot showers and our room was toasty and warm when we arrived home after dinner. Breakfast was a huge spread of great food, plus some lunch bags to take the leftovers on your hike around the lakes. Special thanks for making some soup for my husband who was not well on the night and stayed in while we went out to dinner. Even the location was amazing - we could do a short walk on the first afternoon from the accommodation to see some of the lakes and waterfalls without purchasing a ticket - and then use our ticket for the following day to see the park.

Can't think of anything else that we would need.

The property has beautiful grounds that are immaculately maintained. This is a family Managed property and everyone was truly lovely. They were very kind and helpful, they gave us great information about how to access the park. The property is close to entrance 3 and you can walk to the entrance. The food was good and they offer bags so you can take a packed lunch on your hike. They serve breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Danielle was amazing and drove us to the bus stop. I would highly recommend this place for your visit to Plitvice Lakes!

Excellent personal service from the owners. Very generous portions of quality home cooked food, both for dinner and breakfast (which includes picnic portions for a hiking lunch). Comfortable and clean room. Lovely garden and peaceful surrounds. Extremely well located to walk to and enter Plitvice Lakes National Park at Entrance 3. Would come back, stayed two nights.

TV digital reception was poor. Trying to watch the French open Women and Men’s Tennis finals was near impossible - very intermittent and broken up signal. Not the owners fault.
