Close to entrance 3. Staff was excellent. Restaurant was really good although not cheap compared what you experience nearby

Wooden houses are noisy. You can hear all guest coming home and walking up and by in their rooms.

A lot of relax in a beautiful location, good restaurant pleased to cook vegan food even if menu doesn't have vegan options.

There is a small zoo, it would be better if it was a sanctuary or refuge for animals saved from slaughterhouse or others uses. Not many vegan options during breakfast, even if was a special request: missing cookies, briokes or cakes.

Location and wooden lodges are great, very comfortable and right at a secret entrance of the Lakes, allowing us to leave our car parked at the hotel. Staff are warm and very helpful.

The food in the restaurant didn't taste fresh. The fries and chicken nuggets (kids menu) we ordered were surely fried in stale over-used several times cooking oil. So we didn't return for dinner the second night. Also, we were offered a starter as a courtesy brought by the very chatty steward, to keep kids occupied, while we were waiting for our meal to arrive - and to our surprise, we were later charged for it as it was slipped into the bill. Not a nice gesture, felt tricked.

This hotel was fantastic. It has lots of facilities and really suited our needs. We stayed here one night for our trip to plitvice lakes and it was just a stones throw away from entrance 3. This entrance requires tickets to be bought in advance. There are also some really fantastic view points of the lower lakes within walking distance of the hotel which are outside of the park grounds and free to go to. Breakfast was fantastic, a really good range of food. The staff were so friendly and had space for us to store luggage.

It's not so much something I didn't like, more just something to be aware of. If you are visiting without a car it is quite difficult to get to. The buses drop you off at entrance 1 or 2 and then you have to take a taxi around to the hotel. From entrance 1 to the hotel costs 30 euro so factor that in to any spending costs if you are travelling without a car.

Unfortunately, we arrived very late and stayed only for one night but oh boy, I wish we stayed longer. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, they upgraded our room with a jakuzzi on the terrace, already heated up for us by we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, it’s in general a very calm place in the middle of the forest, very very close to one of the less popular entrances of the Plitvice lakes. The breakfast was tasty and planty. There’s a small zoo in the garden, that I did not know about and I was happy to discover some animals in the morning. I wish we stayed longer. This hotel is a dream if you’re looking for a calm, comfy place close to nature and the Plitvice lakes.

Fantastic location, the lodge was a dream and the hot tub was a very nice addition. Excellent access to the park and the receptionist really made me feel welcome booking at the last minute. The restaurant staff aswell were very helpful.

No shelves in or near the shower, which was very odd. Breakfast butfet was very much underwhelming and plain considering in the cost of the rooms. For dinner I ordered the beef tartare and it came “blended” and over seasoned, never seen anything like it. The main course was chicken with a smear of potato. Definitely some odd thinking there. Would not stay for the food again.

Amazing location, walking distance to the Plitvice National Park - Entrance 3. The restaurant is good, and the breakfast was great.

I have two unpleasant observations. One is that the rooms are not soundproof. So if you have children (or anybody who talks loudly or runs around the room) in the room next to yours or upstairs, you can forget about getting good sleep at night. The second observation is about the information from the front desk. They advised us to use Entrance 3 for our 2-day ticket. Unfortunately, Entrance 3 operates only from 8 to 15, and when we arrived at 14:45 nobody was there–you need the ticket validated before entering the park, otherwise it's void. I would expect, they would at least know the operating hours of Entrance 3 if they are giving recommendations.

The location ofcourse is the most important. Just right down the road from the 3rd gate. The staff was very nice. They will give you tips and routes that you should / shouldn't take , and will.hwlp you avoid the crowds. The room.was nice, rustic, soft bed, hot shower, good soundproofing. The grounds had numerous activities that people could take part in, a petting zoo, kids area, mini golf, tennis and billards / darts. Breakfast was good. Ate enough to power through the day at the lakes. Coffee was a bit bitter though, but it was a multiple choice machine, so it's understandable. Loads of parking, even for.larger vehicles.

Internet, I work online and had to use my phone as a hot spot. The free wifi kept dropping, especially at night when everyone was back in their rooms. But other than that, everything else was amazing.

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from entry nr 3 to the Plitvice National Park. Our room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was very good, and all staff members were extremely kind and polite. The playground was useful to have.

The outside facilities were quite worn-down. The “zoo” looked especially sad with just 3-4 animals being bored alone in their cages, plus two large dogs being enclosed into a quite small cage. The on-site restaurant was REALLY expensive for the below average quality food and the small portions it provided.

The receptionist was incredible and so kind to us. He explained absolutely EVERYTHING we needed to know and even gave us a cheeky upgrade to a hot tub room!!

The resteraunt for dinner was expensive but understandable as it is so remote. The biggest issue was we were two of four people in the resteraunt that morneing and were in a slight rush. we asked for 2 hot chocolates and 2 pieces of toast. We got the hot chocolate after 25 minutes and after 40 minutes we simply left because we didnt have time to wait any longer. I was really disappointed by this as you have a LONG day ahead when you are at Plitvice
